Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.
Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.
Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?
This is especially true in fencing. You think you're on a roll, and then a lefty comes along and totally screws you up. :0As far as I know, lefties have an advantage in situations where people are expected to be right-handed. In a game like cricket, a leftie hits the ball in a completely different direction than a right-handed person would, giving them an advantage.
I'm ambidextrous. >:D
Plus, I think brain-dominance is really interesting. Like how right-handed people tend to be better at mathematics, while lefties are more creative. And how, apparently, lefties are 39% more likely to be gay.
Pfft. I'm right-handed, gay, creative and not particularly good at maths. :D Guess I defy four - or three, depending on whether the creative and maths things count as one or two things...
Slight likelihoods that aren't true in all cases.
I love doing that during P.E.Ambidextrous :3
I do all right-hand designed things with my right (mouse, wiimote, can-opener), and just about everything else with my left. It's fun to freak people out in baseball when you hit with your right, strike, then switch hands.
