"HI CYRUS!" It was Nana. "Good morning!" She didn't know if that would shock him and make the beetle fly away, but that was the point anyway. It was a bit nasty, yes, but she loved pranks.

Oops, sorry.
----

Almond wandered over to the post office to mail her letter. She said to Pelly, "Can I recieve this on September 22, 2009?" She handed her the letter and left without another word. She then went to Able Sisters, looking for a new shirt that would fit her.

Mark opened his eyes, and his ears were immeadiatly met by the loud chorus of his many Gyroids. Stepping out of his Blue Bed, he picked up his Fishing Rod, his Net, and his Shovel, along with his special blue-and-black Hypno Umbrella and 500 bells. Pulling on his Blue Tye-Dye shirt, Mark opened his door and headed out to a spot devoid of trees.
Mark took his shovel and began to dig. Out of the corner of his eye, he could have sworn he saw a sparkle. Could it be? he thought. Mark had been aiming to get a Gold Shovel for a long time, and they supposedly appeared when you buried a shovel in a sparkling patch.
Turning to the twinkling spot of earth, Mark dug a hole, then buried his shovel. He pulled out a map, found were he was, and put a big red X over the spot.

Hunter finally woke up, for real this time, at 9:24 in the morning. He got up and yawned, hopping out of his bed. He decided to go to Brewster's for a cup of coffee, so he exited his house and headed to the Codville Museum.

Cyrus watched sadly as the beetle suddenly buzzed off into the sky, and slumped exasperatedly, turning to Nana. "Thanks," he said, "Now I'll have to find another. But yeah, hi."

He looked around for any traces of other bugs, but there was none. It appeared that the dog had scared away all the bugs in the area.

Mark came upon Almond and Cyrus, and asked," Do you guys want to go to Animal Island? They have coconuts and lots of insects there!" Looking at Cyrus, he noticed that the two were both wearing Blue shirts. "Wow!" Mark whispered, pulling out his net. He saw a ladybug on a red flower. Edging closer, Mark swiped down his net. Pulling out a glass container, he put the red-and-black beetle into it. "Hmm, this one has... only three spots. I have one with seven... You want it, Cyrus?"

It was looking like quite the nice day outside. The sun was shining brightly up in the sky over Codville, and there was not a cloud in sight.

Most people would enjoy this fact. However, the sun always seemed to precariously aim itself in Kay's window every morning, as if to wake her up.

And she was not a morning person.

Either way, she still always got up then anyway. Hopping out of her Exotic Bed, she stretched her arms and switched into her usual outfit: A Chef's Hat and Cake Shirt. Finally, she grabbed her Bug Net, and exited her house. Smiling, she ran to a spot just above her house and proceeded to forage fruit off the trees. "It may not be much, but it'll add up to something!" she always said. She collected a few fruits, and headed off on her way. And maybe I'll go hunting for that elusive Bee afterwards, she thought. Maybe I won't get stung this time!

"Whoops, sorry..." she said, trying her best to make it sound convincing. "I'll be more careful next time.." "Or not..." she said so low that only she could hear it.

Turning to Almond and Cyrus, Mark set down the ladybug and said," If you want to go with the island with me, sign the paper I put up on the bulletin board." Turning on his heel, Mark walked away, headed to the dump. Surveying the assorted junk, he saw something glint. A jester's hat! Why would someone throw this away? thought Mark. Picking it up with two fingers, he checked for bugs, dirt, or other stuff not usually desired in headwear. After pulling out a lone ant, and dusting it off, Mark placed the cap on his head, smiling at his good fortune. Grabbing a garden gnome on his way out, he tromped his way back to his house. Placing the garden gnome in front of his house, he pulled out his fishing rod and stepped over to the bridge and started to fish. After sitting there long enough to start to be bored, there was a sudden tug at his rod. Reeling in his line quickly, Mark caught a glimpse of sharp, small teeth and grayish-brown scales. A piranha! With a small snap, the fish cut the line and swam away... Sadly, Mark re-lined his pole and put it away. There would be plenty of time to fish at the Island...

May I still join?

Croc waved hello to Nana and continued into Nook's.

He exited a few minutes later, carrying a coffe maker in one hand, and a new fishing rod in the other. "Hehehe, yep, I made it off pretty well!" He pulled an apple off of a tree and bit into it hungrily.

((Accepted, Flareth))

Cyrus smiled and went to the bulletin board, signing the notice Mark had put up. He thought for a moment before returning to his house and grabbing his Fishing Rod.

He was still feeling a little tired so he decided he's get some Coffee before they left. He ran to the museum and walked inside then descended the steps to his left, coming to the Roost. He noticed Hunter was here, too, and smiled at the wolf before sitting down. "The usual, please, Brewster," he said, and waited for it to come.

Kay exited Nook's store after selling her fruit and made her daily check of the Bulletin Board as she went by. Reading the message about Animal Island, she quickly signed the paper and hurried to her home to pick up her fishing rod and shovel. She cleared out any extra items into her wardrobe as well. I wonder who else is coming? she thought. Exiting her house, she set off at a swift pace towards the beach.

Jax rushed through the town, screaming her head off. She had found a Scorpion and she accidently disturbed it. It was still close behind. She pulled out her net and slammed it down over the Scorpion.

"That was close." she sighed, "I wouldn't have been able to go to Animal Island."

She checked the bulletin board, seeing if she already signed it. She did.

She rushed to where others were starting to gather.

"Hey guys." she said.

Hunter nodded at Cyrus, who had just entered Brewster's. "Can I get mine with cream?" the wolf asked the pigeon.
Brewster nodded and made two cups of coffee. He handed one to Cyrus and one to Hunter. "Enjoy," he said.
"Thanks," Hunter replied. He slowly drank the coffee to savor the flavor (yay rhymes).

Mark, after grabbing his spare shovel, a bag, his swimming clothes, and a slingshot, walked over to the Bulletin Board and wrote,"We are leaving, no more signups, please." Running down to the beach, he saw that everybody had gotten there before him. Walking over to a shack, Mark pulled out a key and unlocked the door. He went inside, and, after a few moments with some loud THUDS thrown in, Mark came back out, dragging behind him a motor boat. He locked the door behind him, then turned the boat over and put it in the water. He jumped in the back and waited for the others to get in.

"Hi, Jax!" Nana said. "Well, it's time to go inside the boat!" She went inside. "Hi, Mark! I have a quiz for you, interested? I'll give you a gift if you answer correctly."
