Stormecho is accepted. Dar, I will accept you if you can add just a
bit more description to the history (namely, identify what those "creatures" were that attacked your character).
At any rate, Here's my (unfinished) human profile
Name: Robert Nerro
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance: Stands at about 5'9" with average skin and build, and has brown ending just after the end of his forehead. Clothing of choice is a blue jacket over a lighter shirt, dark grey pants, and a navy blue cap with a red compass rose embossed on it. In the jacket in question are vital healing supplies for his team, as well as rations for himself.
Side: Human
Personality: Robert can be summed up with the word "Introverted," for he certainly doesn't like to be in the public eye, nor does he like talking to people all that much - it's his preference to be alone with his team as opposed to with other humans. Besides that, I suppose PO
History: Robert was born into one of the wealthiest and most prestigious families in all of Unova, and it was for that exact reason that he became so introverted; even though his family could get more or less any material thing they wanted, they also cautioned Robert at his earliest years, telling him that there would be a lot of kids he met that only wanted to befriend him because he was part of a rich family. Robert took that to mean
everyone he met only liked him for his money, which in turn led to him keeping to himself during his school days. His life otherwise went on, seemingly uninterrupted, until the day he turned twelve and his parents decided that he should start his pokemon journey. So they sent him on his way, with only an Oshawott that he'd been given for his birthday as a companion. Deep down, Robert's parents were worried about how well he would be able to endure the wilds, so far from home.
Their worries were completely unnecessary. Faced with a living creature that didn't know (nor care) about his financial status, Robert had no problem whatsoever opening up to the Oshawott, which he soon nicknamed Jack. The two traveled the breadth of Unova over the course of several years, adding many native pokemon to the team along the way. Robert's travels took in laps around the Unova region; even though he'd accumulated Unova's badges after one "lap," he refused to challenge the Elite Four. Why? Because if he should succeed in defeating all four of them and the champion, it would entail fame and fortune - he didn't want the attention of fame, and his family already had fortune. So instead, he wandered Unova in full years, but eventually he grew discontented. Bored. He wanted to see what else there was that the world could show him. So he boarded the first train he could find for Johto, and thus began his next trek.
This process repeated itself in Johto, at which point he traveled to Kanto, where the same thing happened. Robert had explored much of both regions by the time he had turned 23, so bhe set his sights on the next closest region: Sinnoh. By this time, Robert was starting to get tired of that pattern. He wanted there to be
something in Sinnoh that would pique his interests into perhaps, staying there. He was, in all honesty, bored with the constant journeying.
Well, as they say, be careful what you wish for. In less than a year after he entered Sinnoh, the rebellion flared up just as he was entering Pastoria. Robert was able to escape the city before those of the Safari Zone turned it into a slaughterhouse. He made his way to Sunyshore, the nearest settlement, only to find it half-flooded from the local pokemon, pokemon that didn't take kindly to his presence there. Barely escaping with his life, he fled to Veilstone on the back of one of his pokemon, and was relieved to find that it had not fallen to the rebellion like the other two cities had.
Since then, he's been taking shelter in Veilstone over the course of the next month, only venturing out when word comes in of a possible survivor out in the wilds. At the moment, he is more than willing to lend his skills to his fellow humans whenever he needs them, but for the most part he can be found brooding somewhere in the city, talking to little to no humans.
Team:
Jack ♂
Serious Nature
Robert's first pokemon, and therefore his oldest friend. Of all of Robert's pokemon, he is by far the one you could most qualify as "Lawful Good," in that he's the most willing to help someone in need, he's the one with the highest sense of justice, and he's often the one that can talk the most sense into Robert when his trainer needs advising.
Razor Shell | Swords Dance | Night Slash | Revenge | Return | Double Team
(Torrent)
Brutus ♂
Quiet Nature
Much like Robert, Brutus is introverted, and likes to spend more time meditating and ruminating on a situation before acting on it. He also very rarely gets into arguments with the rest of the team. It's unwise to mistake this for a lethargic personality, however - many members of the rebellion have been crushed by the sheer weight of the power he puts into his attacks.
Mach Punch | Drain Punch | Bulk Up | Rock Slide | SuperPower | Facade
(Guts)
Supay ♂
Impish Nature
Supay stands out from the rest of Robert's team because he's much more of an extroverted Prankster - he likes to crack jokes and laugh at times where it's better to be serious; he likes to push everyone else's buttons to see how they react. He's also the most sadistic of the group, willing to let battles drag out longer, just for laughs.
Power Swap | Will-O-Wisp | Toxic | Hex | Curse | Rest | Double Team
(Mummy)
Rattana ♀
Adamant Nature
Much like the iron shell that protects her, Rattana is stubborn to the point of pure frustration for anyone and everyone that disagrees with her; Robert is the only one that she will actually listen to, and even that is only every so often. To top it all off, she has a very uptight "non-nonsense, get-to-the-point" attitude when
not arguing with others. This puts her at odds with the rest of the team, and has nearly lost them their lives during the battles with rebels
Stealth Rock | Leech Seed | Pin Missile | Iron Defense | Spikes | Power Whip | Gyro ball
(Iron Barbs)
Helios ♀
Mild Nature
Whereas Jack serves as the voice of reason for Robert, Helios serves as the voice of reason and mediation for the rest of the team. When discussions inevitably devolve into arguments, she does what she can to ensure the arguments never devolve into battles. When Robert is talking to someone, it's either her or Jack that voices Robert's say if their trainer can't - or won't - talk for himself
Fiery Dance | Quiver Dance | Bug Buzz | Solarbeam | Morning Sun | Sunny Day
(Flame Body)
Struve ♂
Calm Nature
Struve, among the standards of his own kind, is an enigma. While he has the battle-loving tendencies of a Hydreigon, years among more even-tempered fellows such as Robert and Helios and Jack have tempered his natural bloodlust, to the point that he doesn't consider anything moving and unfamiliar as an automatic enemy. He's actually quite affable and good conversation for Robert's team and Robert himself. Of course, the moment that a battle starts up, he's easily Robert's most dangerous pokemon, and even his teammates tend to give him a wide berth on the battlefield
Dragon Pulse | Surf | Fire Blast | Dark Pulse | Crunch | Dragon Rush | Tri Attack
(Levitate)
Other: Well, that took longer to finish than I would have liked. I get the feeling that his team will do a lot of the talking for him
