Brave New World

And there we go. I'm finished, I think.

Name: Beatrice Monroe
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Side: Human

Appearance: Beatrice stands no more than 5'3, and has a childlike innocence about her. She looks more like she's around fifteen or so rather than her true age. Her skin is a dark coffee tone, and her build is petite. She suffers from complete heterochromia, and as such, one of her eyes is a bright amber color while the other is a sickly green. Her well-kept chocolate hair falls just past her mid-back, and her bangs are braided back into a single braid in the back. She wears a bright yellow and white horizontally striped shirt with frilly lacing at the neck and elegant shoulders, khakis, and brown shoes (identical to these, if you will). She has a few silver bangles on her wrists.

Personality: Beatrice is a quiet soul, and shy toward most people she knows and unknown strangers alike. She isn't used to voicing her opinion, but rather going along with others' decisions, even if she doesn't like them. She's tear-prone and fearful that if she doesn't make her peers happy, they'll reject and ignore her. So, she tends to stay on the sidelines, not getting involved with the action. She doesn't speak much because of this, and finds her eight-year-old girly voice crack when she begins a sentence. Beatrice is also socially awkward with people of the opposite gender, and gets her words and thoughts tangled up when speaking to men.

History: Beatrice was born and raised in Veilstone City. As a child, she didn't play with her friends and go outside, but rather curled up on her bed with a thick novel or two and read peacefully in the pale light. She was shut up in her room most of the day after school, and scarcely left it without good reason. Regardless of the gamers in her neighborhood, Beatrice didn't get into video games and such, so she refrained from visiting the arcade down the street. At the age of thirteen, she received a Litwick from her cousin in Unova as a birthday present. She named him "Eeristatz" after countless days of musing over an appropriate name for her ghostly new friend, and trained him the best she could against the other trainers in Veilstone. Beatrice didn't want to have another Pokemon, however, because she feared she might favor one over the other, so she loved and cared for her singular Pokemon and had more time for him. Eeristatz grew and grew throughout the years, and a little more than five years prior he evolved into his final stage, Chandelure.

When the rebellion first ravaged the Sinnoh region, Beatrice was pages away from finishing the final chapter of "The Shining" for the fifth time, and had no choice but to flee into the nearby Galactic building in order to survive the onslaught. She brought her book with her, along with her Chandelure, and has lived with her peers (distantly, I might add; she tried to isolate herself from the others, and it worked for the most part) ever since.

Team:
Chandelure.gif

Name: Eeristatz
Species: Chandelure
Moves Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Flamethrower, Psychic
Personality: Scarce to anger, Eeristatz is practical and strategic with his moves. He tends to let the opponent strike first at the beginning of a battle to get a better sense of what exactly he's fighting, and he's exceedingly patient and monotonous. He cares for his shy trainer deeply, even if his aloof demeanor doesn't show it, and seems to trust others that Beatrice learns to like.

Here comes character No. 2:

Name: Angon (Pronounced Ahn-GONE)

Age: 60

Gender: Male

Species: Chandelure

Appearance: Angon is your basic, run-of-the-mill Chandelure - a striped, round head that has empty, yellow pupil-less eyes, a purple flame emitting from the top, and a mouth that looks like it was stitched shut. Jutting from either side of the head are two long, black tendrils, which diverge into two separate tendrils, the both of which have a small purple flame at the tip

Side: Pokemon

Personality: There are two sides to Angon's personality - one is the affable - even lighthearted and joking - side; this is the impression that the general populace - be they pokemon or human - think of him as, and it's a facade that he's kept up since before he met Jiongu. The other side is one that he shows in battle, and that side: a cold-hearted, sadistic bastard that delights in burning the souls of his enemies away. He is much more calculating than his master Jiongu, and it's often him that keeps the "administrative" business of his master's conquests afloat. Furthermore, he cares nothing about Jiongu's vendetta against humanity; he sees the rebellion as a means for his... experiments.

History: Angon has never made it clear - whether to his master or his minions - how he ended up in Sinnoh. Some days he says he was always there, some days he claims he was released by a trainer that happened to be in Sinnoh at the time. Regardless, for the past decade or so, the Chandelure has wandered the Sinnoh landscape, skulking about in the desolate alleyways and dark forests, waiting for the occasional sucker that he could burn the soul of. It was a calm life, a peaceful life.

In fact, it was peaceful even when Jiongu saw him killing a human that got too close. Impressed by the deed, the Dragonite approached Angon, asking if he would like to be part of an eventual day where the pokemon would rise against humanity. Intrigued, Angon took the offer, and went into hiding at the Lost Tower, waiting for the moment to strike, and even recruiting as many ghosts as he could find on his own volition.

When that moment happened, Angon took the ghosts he'd recruited and beelined right for Hearthome. He and his ghosts proceeded to link up with the pokemon approaching from the south and kill as many humans as they could find - but also to "spare" (which in this case meant imprison) a few humans for his personal experiments. By the time Jiongu and his soldiers came from the strikes against Canalave, half of the city's populace was already dead.

Jiongu was none too pleased to learn that Angon had purposely spared a few humans during the attack, but the Chandelure convinced him that they were part of an experiment to figure out which kinds of attacks make humans scream the most. Which is true - what Angon didn't tell Jiongu is that he plans to eventually break the humans enough that one of his ghosts could possess their body, making them the perfect spy - this experiment has, so far, met with little success.

Since then, Angon has been moving in and out of Hearthome whenever he sees fit, usually to find victims of either side that he can kill/experiment on. He is also subtly manipulating Jiongu to ensure that the Dragonite prolongs the annihilation of Sinnoh's human populace for as long as possible - after all, where would be the fun in outright killing the humans when you can make them suffer first?

Name: Malcolm Reiner
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance:

Wrapped up thoroughly in order to better present a defence against the biting coldness of his Pokemon, all that can usually be seen of Malcolm’s head is his ragged tuft of soft fawn hair and the skin of his forehead. Below that, his misty grey eyes peer over the top of a thick woollen scarf – ice blue, with white hexagon patterns going up the middle – the very tips of his ears peeking out over the sides.

A gaunt-faced young man with strong legs accustomed to hiking, he most frequently wears a padded ski jacket with an ochre colouration, darker umber pigment set of cargo trousers, and then the sort of boots, gloves and other cold weather essentials one might pack when expecting regular hailstorms. He isn’t very tall, standing at only 5’ 6” without the slight lift provided by his boots. What he does have though is stamina, and experience with coping with the harsher weather considered the norm in the far northern parts of Sinnoh. A backpack is host to all of his most important belongings, and can usually be seen slung over his right shoulder, unless misplaced in some way.

Side: Human

Personality:

Always to sort of person to look before leaping, Malcolm is a cautious and methodical trainer, whose style is to wait and watch. Letting others make the mistakes for him and then correcting their technique. Although it is an approach which has served him well in times past, at times, he can feel restless for action. His reserves of patience are not infinite, and withholding the desire to take action takes a constant toll on him.

His approach to raising his Pokemon is a policy of comfortable distance. Acknowledging Pokemon to be wild creatures, and that such wildness is a side of their nature, he makes the effort to spend time around them without coddling them too much. Keeping their relationship on even terms. Normally a modest person, a lifetime of living in the shadows of others has nurtured a tiny flame of ambition over the years, one that has started to consume him as of late, in light of a startling discovery. Seeing the rebelling Pokemon as a danger to both his way of life and his personal goals, his response to them has been violent and defensive - the reactions of a cornered animal.

History:

Born in Snowpoint City, when the age came when he would be expected to leave home and become a trainer... Malcolm was one of the few who hesitated.

Always careful, even as a child, the prospect of spending a lifetime jogging from one town to the next... sleeping in a different place every night? The appeal was completely lost on him. He could not bear the thought of leaving behind family and friends, but still desired to have a future with Pokemon. So it was then that he set his sights on a different goal than most - instead of the Pokemon League - it became his ambition to someday become a Gym Leader.

Receiving his starter Pokemon, a Snover whom he would name Yulla, the Snowpoint Gym became his regular haunt. He kept his true reasons for being there to himself, not wanting to go around bragging that he one day wanted to take ownership of the building, but regardless was given ample chance to polish his battling skills over the years that followed. Becoming a specialist in Pokemon that could appreciate the harsh beauty of the northern wilds.

Living in Snowpoint throughout his youth, the time eventually came when he was chosen to be entrusted with a somewhat unexpected honour. The usual guard having taken sick from standing out in the cold weather, he was tasked one day with standing guard over Snowpoint Temple, a taboo place, and often the subject of a vivid fantasy...

He'd stayed when most of the others had left the town. Always cautious, he'd never been rebellious or misbehaved as a child. Why not take a look then, he reasoned? He trusted himself to be prepared for whatever might wait for him on the inside, and the more he thought about it, the more the whim developed into an irresistible compulsion. Overwhelmed by the need for something thrilling in his otherwise monotonous, but comfortable life, at the first sign of nightfall he stole himself away inside the ancient temple. Sliding across the frozen floors and groping blindly through the darkness... he was unprepared for the sight he stumbled upon.

Eventually, he found his way out of the ruins. Arriving back at the gate just before the break of dawn, narrowly avoiding being caught by the arrival of the original guard, who had now recovered. Still in a state of shock from what he had found, he returned home and steeped himself in research. A language of dots... a sleeping colossi...

Overtaken by a streak of obsessive behaviour, something others noted as unlike him, Malcolm abandoned the Gym out of the blue shortly afterwards. When asked where he was going, he told them that he needed to visit Canalave City. Their library was renowned as the repository of Sinnoh's myths and legends. Before he could get there however, there was news of a devastating attack. The information he sought was burning away... and his newfound ambitions along with it.

When most of the Snowpoint City population decided to evacuate to Veilstone, a bitterly disappointed Malcolm was among their number.

Moves/Team:

Spr_5b_460_f.png

[Yulla ♀]
The eldest and most experienced of Malcolm’s Pokemon, Yulla is level-headed and zealously practical. While she generally aims to present herself as a motherly figure, her imperfect façade conceals her true lack of sympathy for others.
[Blizzard] [Substitute] [Leech Seed] [Giga Drain] [Ice Shard]

Spr_4d_461_m.png

[Shanter ♂]
Unfettered from his old doubts about humanity, Shanter places his loyalty to his trainer above his own personal safety. Always by Mal’s side, he acts as a self-appointed bodyguard, viciously protective of his only charge.
[Ice Punch] [Brick Break] [Night Slash] [Swords Dance][Double Team]

579.png

[Benuveli ♂]
Received in a trade via the GTS, Benuveli is reluctant to reciprocate the friendship of his new trainer, harbouring feelings of betrayal over being given away. Secretly sympathetic to the rebelling Pokemon, his uncertainty may ultimately win him over.
[Focus Blast] [Recover] [Calm Mind] [Shadow Ball] [Trick Room]

Other: Sometimes he can still see it in his dreams. A pattern of dots, spread out across an archaic map. Always watched over by the white giant - always.

Okay, finished my form. And reserve me one more spot for pokemon side.

Phantom is reserved (whoops)

And I am sorry Dar, but your history will have to be a little more fleshed out for you to qualify.

Alright, here goes nothin'. Or something. Whatever makes people happy. Anywhos, hope it works.

Name: Spencer Hughes
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Species: Human

Appearance: Spence is about 6’1”, with an athletic build still remaining from his high school days. He has thick and shaggy blonde hair, which is usually covered under a hat he got from his high school. He has gray-blue eyes, and broad shoulders.

His clothes, like his hat, are mostly from his old school, which he still takes great pride in. His hat is white on the front half, black on the back, with a blue bill, and simple blue “E” stitched onto it. He has a white t-shirt with black lightning bolts going down his sleeves, and a single abstracted blue bird (which appears to be composed of lightning bolts as well) on his chest. His jeans are just plain and simple jeans, and he wears a pair of shoes from his school, which are also black and blue and have that same bird on the side of them.

Side: Human

Personality: Spencer is blunt, but kind further in. He never means ill by his straight-forward comments, though he is often perceived as rude or downright mean because of them. Though he isn’t stupid (He’s actually capable of being quite the whiz-kid), he has no patience, and so is usually one to go with the first thing to come to mind. Thinking things through takes too much time, and by the time you’ve figured out a solution, it might be too late to act on it.

History: Spencer never cared for adventuring, but he did love battling. So he stayed home when he got to ten, kept going to school, but would participate in local competitions and train his Pokémon whenever he wasn’t in class or at wrestling practice. This was very effective since his team was small, and after school was done, he finally figured he should get out and see a few places.

He found a partner, a kid named Bryce, and the two of them had been a rising force in the double-battle categories of the league. The two of them were on their way for a tournament and weekend of beach partying and “Girl-Hunting” in Sunnyshore when the attacks began. Specifically, between Hearthome and Pastoria. They managed to stick together for a while, and did a u-turn back to Hearthome. After a week or so, though, they ventured out of the city, Bryce jokingly demanding that he get his weekend with sunny beaches and bikinis.

They were noticed by some less-than-friendly Pokemon, and got separated in the run for their lives. Spencer lost all of his Pokémon except for one, and has since been skulking around the edges of Hearthome in hopes of seeing Bryce suddenly pop up on the horizon to say, “You missed a nice beach party.”

Moves/Team:

xhansprite.png

Xhan (♂ Lucario)
Though he has a matured body, he still acts as though he were a pup. He was a gift from Bryce to Spencer, and thus the two are each other’s only connection to their lost friend. Though vastly immature, Xhan will protect Spencer with his life, and has a scar across his chest to prove it.
Force Palm, Aura Sphere, Quick Attack, Psychic - (Inner Focus)

Other: Happens to be very good at wrestling. So if Xhan isn’t around, he isn’t completely helpless. Also, he’s always a bit upset because he lost his letter jacket. He doesn’t complain often, but he does complain about that quite a bit.

Name: Senica Thade
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Species: Human

Appearance: Dark skinned with high cheekbones and a large and curved nose. She's rather tall and gaunt, with long black hair that she ties into a ponytail most of the time. Tends to wear clothing in dark colours and has a suspicious amount of vials with her.

Side: Human

Personality: Straightforward and critical, Senica doesn't tolerate hesitation and stupid decisions from herself or anyone else. She's quickwitted and quick to act or react, but she never softens what she says and thus doesn't have many friends. She's equally caustic to her team, who are slightly more willing to put up with that. She hates seeing people suffer, but is careful to not let her feelings impede what she is doing. In fact, she can compose herself to the extreme, separating purpose from emotions and maintaining that state in order to work. She tends to suffer from bouts of self doubt and anxiety afterwards, however.

Her standards are unflinching. She'll never chew someone out for not doing something she herself wouldn't, and she also refuses to tell a lie. ...Which doesn't make her any nicer.

History: The daughter of a gym trainer and a small business owner in Fuschia City, her parents divorced when she was three. Though her mother made enough from fighting trainers who went through the gym challenge to support the family, it also meant Senica was dragged along to every battle until she started school. Even then, she saw the effects of poison on Pokemon - and when she accused her mother and the whole gym of being unfair and evil, her mother dragged her to the Pokemon Centre and made her listen to a lecture on how integral Poison-types were for the making of antivenom mixtures and Antidotes.

That was the epiphany, that something that caused so much pain could also cure hundreds.

When it was time for her journey, she hung around Fuchsia, putting it off so she could learn from both the Pokemon Centre - done by badgering the nurses incessantly - and the gym. Eventually she considered herself ready to Do Things (capitals required) and with a Nidoran, went off into the great Kanto wilderness.

Since then, she eventually travelled to Sinnoh in order to study the Poison Pokemon there, only to be trapped in Veilstone when the rebellion started. Trapped behind the shielding with the rest, she offered up her limited medical knowledge and tried to assist in any way she could.

Moves/Team:
034.gif

Dhiren ♂
Aloof and with a cruel sense of humour, Dhiren is about as sympathetic as a force of nature. He comes in, he wrecks things and he leaves - and spares not a thought for what's left behind. He's loyal to Senica but doesn't really care about anyone other than her or the rest of the team. He's surprisingly tolerant of Pronyma's and Arkios' antics, and doesn't even mind sharing space with the others as long as they know what lines not to cross.
Body Slam | Horn Attack | Sludge Bomb | Earth Power | Poison Jab
(Poison Point)
073.gif

Pronyma ♀
Curious about almost everything, Pronyma has a surprisingly calm temperament. She has an insatiable desire for knowledge - and for poking things to see what happens - and finds even life threatening events interesting. She is the least overtly loyal one, and the only one to be enthusiastic about the process of making antivenom. She regrets being waterbound as she doesn't have the same mobility of the other two. She isn't as quick to rush to Senica's side, as she treats her trainer as an equal and thus someone perfectly capable of taking care of herself.
Bubblebeam | Toxic Spikes | Water Pulse | Sludge Wave | Confuse Ray
(Clear Body)
336.gif

Arkios ♂
Arkios is volatile. He adores his trainer and adores his teammates, but he shares Pronyma's curiosity of the world, if with a little more malice. He tests everyone, trying to intimidate them, and though he really likes to curl around his trainer or arrange himself on Dhiren's shoulder, he loves to invade everyone else's space to unnerve them and see what they'll do. He's prone to a stuttering hiss that he uses as his version of a creepy giggle. He is rarely serious - but when he is, it's best to keep out of his way.
Bite | Poison Tail | Glare | Night Slash | Swagger
(Infiltrator)

Other: Senica is a minor supplier of antivenom to Pokemon Centres and Pokemarts.

Stormecho is accepted. Dar, I will accept you if you can add just a bit more description to the history (namely, identify what those "creatures" were that attacked your character).

At any rate, Here's my (unfinished) human profile

Name: Robert Nerro

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Species: Human

Appearance: Stands at about 5'9" with average skin and build, and has brown ending just after the end of his forehead. Clothing of choice is a blue jacket over a lighter shirt, dark grey pants, and a navy blue cap with a red compass rose embossed on it. In the jacket in question are vital healing supplies for his team, as well as rations for himself.

Side: Human

Personality: Robert can be summed up with the word "Introverted," for he certainly doesn't like to be in the public eye, nor does he like talking to people all that much - it's his preference to be alone with his team as opposed to with other humans. Besides that, I suppose PO

History: Robert was born into one of the wealthiest and most prestigious families in all of Unova, and it was for that exact reason that he became so introverted; even though his family could get more or less any material thing they wanted, they also cautioned Robert at his earliest years, telling him that there would be a lot of kids he met that only wanted to befriend him because he was part of a rich family. Robert took that to mean everyone he met only liked him for his money, which in turn led to him keeping to himself during his school days. His life otherwise went on, seemingly uninterrupted, until the day he turned twelve and his parents decided that he should start his pokemon journey. So they sent him on his way, with only an Oshawott that he'd been given for his birthday as a companion. Deep down, Robert's parents were worried about how well he would be able to endure the wilds, so far from home.

Their worries were completely unnecessary. Faced with a living creature that didn't know (nor care) about his financial status, Robert had no problem whatsoever opening up to the Oshawott, which he soon nicknamed Jack. The two traveled the breadth of Unova over the course of several years, adding many native pokemon to the team along the way. Robert's travels took in laps around the Unova region; even though he'd accumulated Unova's badges after one "lap," he refused to challenge the Elite Four. Why? Because if he should succeed in defeating all four of them and the champion, it would entail fame and fortune - he didn't want the attention of fame, and his family already had fortune. So instead, he wandered Unova in full years, but eventually he grew discontented. Bored. He wanted to see what else there was that the world could show him. So he boarded the first train he could find for Johto, and thus began his next trek.

This process repeated itself in Johto, at which point he traveled to Kanto, where the same thing happened. Robert had explored much of both regions by the time he had turned 23, so bhe set his sights on the next closest region: Sinnoh. By this time, Robert was starting to get tired of that pattern. He wanted there to be something in Sinnoh that would pique his interests into perhaps, staying there. He was, in all honesty, bored with the constant journeying.

Well, as they say, be careful what you wish for. In less than a year after he entered Sinnoh, the rebellion flared up just as he was entering Pastoria. Robert was able to escape the city before those of the Safari Zone turned it into a slaughterhouse. He made his way to Sunyshore, the nearest settlement, only to find it half-flooded from the local pokemon, pokemon that didn't take kindly to his presence there. Barely escaping with his life, he fled to Veilstone on the back of one of his pokemon, and was relieved to find that it had not fallen to the rebellion like the other two cities had.

Since then, he's been taking shelter in Veilstone over the course of the next month, only venturing out when word comes in of a possible survivor out in the wilds. At the moment, he is more than willing to lend his skills to his fellow humans whenever he needs them, but for the most part he can be found brooding somewhere in the city, talking to little to no humans.

Team:

503.gif

Jack ♂
Serious Nature
Robert's first pokemon, and therefore his oldest friend. Of all of Robert's pokemon, he is by far the one you could most qualify as "Lawful Good," in that he's the most willing to help someone in need, he's the one with the highest sense of justice, and he's often the one that can talk the most sense into Robert when his trainer needs advising.
Razor Shell | Swords Dance | Night Slash | Revenge | Return | Double Team
(Torrent)

534.gif

Brutus ♂
Quiet Nature
Much like Robert, Brutus is introverted, and likes to spend more time meditating and ruminating on a situation before acting on it. He also very rarely gets into arguments with the rest of the team. It's unwise to mistake this for a lethargic personality, however - many members of the rebellion have been crushed by the sheer weight of the power he puts into his attacks.
Mach Punch | Drain Punch | Bulk Up | Rock Slide | SuperPower | Facade
(Guts)

563.gif

Supay ♂
Impish Nature
Supay stands out from the rest of Robert's team because he's much more of an extroverted Prankster - he likes to crack jokes and laugh at times where it's better to be serious; he likes to push everyone else's buttons to see how they react. He's also the most sadistic of the group, willing to let battles drag out longer, just for laughs.
Power Swap | Will-O-Wisp | Toxic | Hex | Curse | Rest | Double Team
(Mummy)

598.gif

Rattana ♀
Adamant Nature
Much like the iron shell that protects her, Rattana is stubborn to the point of pure frustration for anyone and everyone that disagrees with her; Robert is the only one that she will actually listen to, and even that is only every so often. To top it all off, she has a very uptight "non-nonsense, get-to-the-point" attitude when not arguing with others. This puts her at odds with the rest of the team, and has nearly lost them their lives during the battles with rebels
Stealth Rock | Leech Seed | Pin Missile | Iron Defense | Spikes | Power Whip | Gyro ball
(Iron Barbs)

637.gif

Helios ♀
Mild Nature
Whereas Jack serves as the voice of reason for Robert, Helios serves as the voice of reason and mediation for the rest of the team. When discussions inevitably devolve into arguments, she does what she can to ensure the arguments never devolve into battles. When Robert is talking to someone, it's either her or Jack that voices Robert's say if their trainer can't - or won't - talk for himself
Fiery Dance | Quiver Dance | Bug Buzz | Solarbeam | Morning Sun | Sunny Day
(Flame Body)

635.gif

Struve ♂
Calm Nature
Struve, among the standards of his own kind, is an enigma. While he has the battle-loving tendencies of a Hydreigon, years among more even-tempered fellows such as Robert and Helios and Jack have tempered his natural bloodlust, to the point that he doesn't consider anything moving and unfamiliar as an automatic enemy. He's actually quite affable and good conversation for Robert's team and Robert himself. Of course, the moment that a battle starts up, he's easily Robert's most dangerous pokemon, and even his teammates tend to give him a wide berth on the battlefield
Dragon Pulse | Surf | Fire Blast | Dark Pulse | Crunch | Dragon Rush | Tri Attack
(Levitate)

Other: Well, that took longer to finish than I would have liked. I get the feeling that his team will do a lot of the talking for him

Oh, those creatures that attacked them were construction vehicles. I just called them that because the Absols didn't know what they were.

Name: Vienna Clarke-Shockly
Age: 30
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Side: Human

Appearance: Vienna is fairly tall for a woman, and sports a curvy build, though she's starting to get a bit round in the belly due to her pregnancy, but is only about four months along. She is pale, and has large brown eyes and soft dirty-blonde hair that comes to her shoulders. She dresses like a trainer even now, with durable clothing that won't make her overheat or freeze, simple, sturdy shows, and a backpack with an extra sweater and whatever supplies she needs.

Personality: [PO this mostly please UuU]

Vienna is very brave, adventurous, and stubborn, having spent more than half of her life as a trainer and contest coordinator. She has a keen eye for strategy and battles with a steady hand. She is also adept at cooking and moderately good at tending to minor cuts and bruises.

History: Vienna's mother is Unovian, and her father native to Sinnoh, and the two met in a inter-regional tournament several years before her birth. Since both her parents were battlers, she grew up surrounded by Pokemon, and has had the Togekiss known as L'Arc-En-Ciel by her side since her birth. Her life was a fairly simple one for many years, learning as small children do, then going to preschool and then kindergarten. When she entered Trainer's Classes in third grade, she began to be able to take her partner to school with her.

She left on her journey at 11 years old, concentrating on training her two Pokemon, L'Arc and Melia, before tackling the Gym Challenge. She did fairly well, collecting all the Sinnoh badges after a number of years but never bothering with the Elite Four challenge, and doing contests but never really beating the Master ranks. She enjoyed a number of years entering tournaments and other little competitions and living off the prize money (she got second place in an Inter-Regional once!), and eventually met a young man who shared her interest in battling. She soon married Payden, and after a couple years, she become pregnant.

When the attacks began, L'Arc carried her to a small cave on Mt Coronet to hide her, then left to search for Payden. But once a trainer, always a trainer, and Vienna left to search for him herself as well. She ended up getting as far as Veilstone before her other Pokemon insisted she stay. She still plans to continue looking for both Payden and L'Arc.
