Open D.M. (A Pokemon RP)

Nerezza sighed and sat down on the bed, as she saw the other girls do the same. She flipped to the section that showed Dark types and she gave the tiniest of smiles as she named the various pictures.
Houndoom, Tyranitar, Umbreon, Mightyena, Absol...

(Also, forget about the Lugia thing. I'll be a Darkrai instead. That'll fit with me)
 
Emma-Lee yawned, bored now. She looked at the little object that would apparently turn her into a Pokemon...

She looked over at the other girls, a thought bubbling into her mind.

"Hey, if you need Pokemon DNA to turn into them... How will we use them? Most people haven't been in contact with Pokemon for a while."
 
How could they not know how to use it? Oh, yeah, it wasn't their father who created it. Paul had actually read his father's notes, and they were very brief. He didn't even open the manual. "Guys, look. It's like a mp3 player." He turned the device on like he had done it his whole life. "Turn on, select your music, then play." When he pushed the last button, a white light enveloped him and his shape changed into an Elekid. Automatically, his instinct told him to rotate him arms, so he did. Between the small horns on his head, sparkles of electricity appeared. Then he morphed again into a human. "See? Nothing more simple."
 
"Cool, I wanna try!" Anthony said in excitement. He threw down the manual and put the bracer on, then he turned it on, turned the dial, and pressed the switch. He was then covered in a white light, and when the light settled, he was a Squirtle. "Whoa, this is AWESOME!!" he yelled in pokemon language. He quickly tucked into his shell and started Rapid Spinning around the room until he ran into a wall. He got up, dizzy, and turned back into a human. "Hey Blade, I didn't know you had a twin brother," Anthony said as he walked clumsily over to his bed and fell down on it.
 
Beep! Beep BEEP! The bracer said as Lilly pressed random buttons. "It isn't working! It only says beep. How bor-" She got cloaked in a white light, and when it disappeared, a Vulpix stood where Lilly was. "Vul?" Lilly growled cutely.
 
"Hmm..." Blade replied to Anthony's remark. He snapped the bracer on and did what the other two did and was covered in a white light. His form changed into a four legged creature with a large head, and color came. It was tan and blue and had small embers coming out of his back. "Quil?" was what came out but he was trying to say "What do I look like?"
 
They sure learn fast. " I'm going to the common room. You come with me?" Paul asked to his new (and first) friends.
 
Lilly waggled her tails. "Vulpix? Vul!" She transformed to human form, and tried to find out how she did it, and started pressing random buttons again, but this time she tried to remember them.

Paul left silently by the room's only door, where a recruit was waiting to give each of them a map. He followed the indications to a big common room without a lot of furniture. There were a couple of doors, with signs saying "Boys Room" and "Girls Room". He went to the boy's and found his bags on one of the beds. He started unpacking.

(Everyone, common room please.)
Paul left the boys room to the common room. Looking around, Paul could summarize its objects: eleven lockers, three sofas and two couches. Sitting on one of the hard couches, Paul took a deep breath and took out his map of the facilities.

With everything organized, Gale exited the girls' room, into the common room. It didn't have much furniture, but that was fine with her. She just preferred standing up. Gale took a look at her map, attempting to memorize the paths to the most important locations.
((By the way, what's the difference between a couch and a sofa anyway?))
 
(I'll take couch as a one-person sofa and sofa as a three-person couch. Total places to sit is eleven, that is the number of people on our squad.)
 
(Nothing, I believe. Unless it's that sofas are bigger)

Nerezza also exited the room, which was making her a bit claustrophobic. However, it seemed everyone else was also flooding outside, so it was still crowded. She sighed and sat down on a couch at the very end of the room, away from everyone else.
