Open [DEAD] An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

((Just so you know, I'm going to wait until Mewtwo posts to get with Mecha Sonic. Just saying, in case you thought I might just be procrastinating, which, in most circumstances, is a safe assumption.))

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

((Is Mecha talking about Pit?))
"Whoah!" Moonshine yelped as she was suddenly picked up. She could sense distress in the person, or was it her own? She couldn't tell as the person jumped over the Primids. He would be nice to work with...

((EDIT: SE postninja'd me because I was on page for a couple minutes. Is Mecha talking about Meta or Pit?))

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

((Meta Knight. I don't think Mecha has ever run into Pit.))

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

Ghor landed firmly on the ground and continued sprinting he sensed a beam of light coming towards him and swiftly jumped and grabbed the bolt. He lowered the cat-like creature and felt the bolt of light in his hands. "hmm" he threw it back at them and it sent the whole front brigade of primids flying. "Stupid flimsy meceneries, thats all. Which leaves one question? Whos the mastermind here?"

He remembered his current situation as the other primids and some autolances pickd themselves up and edged near them. Remembering his last experience with an autolance who sped off hoping the cat would follow.

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

"Hey, wait for meeee!" Moonshine shouted as she followed behind the person. She used Agility then Quick Attack without hitting anyone to keep up. "Hey! Why'dja take off like that, huh?"

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

Meta Knight continued to stare at Kirby. "If you're waiting for me to say something, I'm afraid you'll be waiting for some time." he said plainly. "Come." He grabbed Kirby's flap-arm and spotted Mecha Sonic somewhere in the distance. ...Why do I have to meet everyone I'm not particularly fond of? Thinking about it for a moment, he seemed to remember not being particularly fond of most anyone. Dragging Kirby along, he walked off towards the mechanical Sonic in no rush.

"It seems we're together," he commented, looking up at Mecha Sonic for a second before walking off in the other direction. "Don't argue, just follow me. I know where I'm going."

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

Mecha Sonic didn't argue. He had his objections, but none of them passed through his voice processor.

I shouldn't argue with this one. If I wish to remain functioning, I will do whatever it takes.

Saying nothing at all, he activated his jetpack and followed the Knight.

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

After some time, they reached the ocean's ridge. The red, choppy waves splashed up onto the shore. "There," Meta Knight pointed with his free hand at what seemed to be a dot on the horizon. "I doubt if you, Mecha Sonic, know this, but I own a large battleship called the Halberd," he turned his gaze towards Mecha Sonic. "Where I am pointing, that is its hanger. We will need to cross some ocean. You do have jets, yes?"

((Two things: Number one, I do realize it was shot down in the SSE, but let's just say it got salvaged and rebuilt. I didn't think Meta Knight would really feel the need to tell Mecha Sonic, so. Number two, I realize there was no hanger in the SSE. But wouldn't it have to? This one looks just like the hanger on the Halberd stage. Oh, and uh, something else. I know the hanger only opens from the top, but I'm adding a door in front for, erm, convenience purposes.))

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

((Well, I would've imagined he rebuilt it. After all, it's not the first time the Halberd was destroyed. Heck, it wasn't even the second.))

A battleship? Interesting. He's more resourceful than I would've imagined.

"Affirmative," Mecha answered, "And they can be activated at very high speeds. Crossing the ocean shouldn't be any trouble."

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

((Mmhm. It even crashed in the anime, and he was one of the good guys! ;_;))

"Good," Meta Knight sprang off the ground, spreading his wings and gliding over the ocean. Kirby was still dangling off of Meta Knight's left hand. He figured he must have fallen asleep or something. Taking a nose-dive towards the ocean, he immediately gained speed and arched upwards. Kirby got splashed in the dive.

((This almost feels like character control. Almost.))

EDIT: ((Oh, I got pretty badly postninja'd. Anyways, yes.))

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

((Nah.))

Kirby was splashed awake by some water. "Whowhatwhere?!" he yelped. "Oh, it was you Meta Knight. Should've known." Kirby noticed they were headed toward Halberd. "Got it fixed, huh?" Kirby asked. "I'd fly myself, but you know me, I don't fly very fast."

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

Initiating Extreme Gear.

Mecha Sonic's arms retracted to his sides.

All weapon systems deactivate. Divert half power to the jets. Keep other half in reserve.

The arms came back out, but both of them were replaced by jets from the elbow down.

Activate full jets... NOW!

Mecha Sonic shot across the water.

((Perhaps I over-did that post, but I don't think the jetpack on his back engine could carry him across the entire ocean!))

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

For the love of Heavy Lobster, he did just speak. Meta Knight looked down at Kirby. "Yes, yes I did." Looking ahead, he saw Mecha Sonic speed past him, making waves as he jetted across. "I hope you aren't motion sick, Kirby." He began to flap hard as he slowed down and started to gain altitude. Veering downwards from several feet up, he gained speed, just splashing the water and completely submerging Kirby. Shooting back up, he continued to fly towards the hanger.

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

"No-" he barely had time to say before he was submerged in water. "Now what was that for, Meta Knight?!" he yelled when he came back up. Guess I shouldn't complain though; after all, I'm getting a free ride, and would most likely still be a trophy if it wasn't for Meta Knight.

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

"You're not having second thoughts, are you?" Meta Knight replied without answering his question.

---

Landing on the platform, Meta Knight set down Kirby and finally let go of his arm. Approaching the door, he reached into his cape and pulled out a set of keys with a small button pad attached.

Doik doik!

"...Wrong one." He pressed another button and the hanger door opened. It was only 7 inches high, about Meta Knight's height.

((I don't know about you, but "Doik doik!" is the best onomatopoeia I could think of for a car alarm.))

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

((I'd think biep biep would be a good onomatopoeia for a car alarm. But they do sound different for everyone))

Now that's a problem.

Mecha Sonic had reached the hangar front, and had converted back to normal when he saw the Knight go through the small door.

Well, I suppose it works for him and his species, but I couldn't fit through there even while in spindash mode!

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

"Hm?" Meta Knight spun around. "Erm, you may have to crawl. I would have had it changed some time ago, but watching Blade Knights crown themselves on the doorframe constantly was too..." he stopped and blinked. "Nevermind. Just come on."

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

"Well, nobody ever said continuing to function would be easy," Mecha said quietly. He then dropped onto his "chest" to move through the doorway.

I really need servos in my legs to adjust my height for situations like this.

Re: An Old Nemesis - The Smash Dojo Part 2

"Alright. I don't usually give free rides, but I have no choice." Walking over towards the enormous warship, he unlatched a door in the side and stepped through. "Get on board. Your 'sleeping quarters' will be in the cargo bay where this door leads. We will take off tommorrow." Then, he added, "And if either of you go 'exploring', I will have you shot with the ship's cannons. He made his way towards the front of the ship where the control room was.
