Guess we'll just go for something a little expected.

Go for Waterfall twice. If Foofoo isn't knocked out then use Ice Shard, if it is then chill.

Foofoo, Espeon is weirdly dedicated to stopping you from psyching up but apparently can't stop you from wrecking face! Let's try some more of that. Drain punch health! unless she protects, you know?

The dominant grassy vegetation makes this area seem quite plain at first but upon closer examination, various scorch marks and patches of dead and damaged grass make evident the popularity of this particular grassland for Pokémon battles. The vast, open territory is cut into two main segments by a deep river which opens out in to a vast lake. In tandem, the grassy expanse and lake means all Pokémon species are comfortable battling, suffering no penalties to any move. On the other hand, the bland nature of the environment means that no Pokémon gains any extra advantages due to the terrain, either.

Round 6 Begin!

Once again, Valeria cloaks herself in water and hurtles out of the river, straight at Foofoo. This time, though, he's more prepared, and as she lands he delivers a stinging blow to her underside, draining a portion of her health away. She doesn't let her curtain of water dissipate this time, though, instead launching herself into the air again, slamming back down on him. He punches her again, yet again siphoning away some of her health; she carefully ignores him, though, and drags herself back to the river.

Then, the second she gets back into the water, she turns back to him and breathes out sharply, exhaling a cloud of ice. A small shard of ice forms in midair and zips towards Foofoo; it hits him right in the head with disproportionate force, and he falls backwards and doesn't move again. As Nyuu recalls his Pokémon, the pouring rain suddenly clears up, and the clouds vanish, leaving the sky just as it was before.

Round 7 Begin!

Nyuu's replacement Pokémon is a Feebas, with oddly shimmering scales coating its body. Obviously enough, it emerges in the river near Valeria, where it proceeds to show off its speed and Swift Swim tendency by swimming around in circles faster than Valeria can even keep up with, let alone hope to match.

Then, suddenly, she dives down under the water. As Valeria tries to figure out where she's gone, Lady Raincorn opens her mouth wide, then shoots a blast of draconic energy at Valeria. The water twists and distorts around the pulse, and it strikes Valeria's side, searing and burning; it's too much for her to take, and her head falls to the ground. Espeon recalls his Pokémon and considers what to relace her with as the round draws to a close.

Round 8 Begin!

Flik opts to send out his Horsea, Elric, next, which emerges in the water and demonstrates its own Swift Swim by tearing around in the water - though he's still far outsped by Lady Raincorn. He glares at her as she swims circles around him. Suddenly the battlers both descend below the surface, leaving the trainers and referee straining to see what's going on.

Then, stopping dead in her place, Lady Raincorn opens her mouth wide and begins charging a pulse of energy within it. The water in front of her shimmers and distorts and then, as she launched the pulse, seems to leap out of the way of the draconic energy as it hurtles towards Elric, who seems paralyzed with fear and can't get out of the way. It hits, exploding in a burst of energy, and Elric squeals; then he regains his composure and begins shouting at Raincorn, carefully chosen insults intended to send her into a rage. Unfortunately, it does no such thing; instead she merely grins at him in a fishy way.

Then, quickly, she charges up and fires off another pulse of dragon energy. Elric darts back in an attempt to dodge, but to no avail; the pulse hits, once again prompting a squal of agony. It taked him a few seconds to recover, and when he does he suddenly shoots a massive cloud of ink out of his snout at Raincorn. It engulfs her, and she struggles to breathe - it's harder to extract oxygen from murky water - and at the same time charge up another draconic pulse. All Elric knows is that, from out of his cloud, the pulse comes shooting into him. In retaliation, he thickens the ink-cloud even more - all while the trainers strain to see what's happening.

Round 9 Begin!

Within a few seconds, the flow of the river washes away the cloud of ink, returning the visibility to the battle once more. Lady Raincorn quickly moves in to attack, charging up another pulse of dragon energy in her mouth before launching it at Elric, searing and burning his side. He glares at her, and then his eyes take on a harsh red glow as he summons his power; Lady Raincorn gasps as she feels her move being sealed away from her.

With her only command being now impossible, Raincorn instead opts to attack blindly. She hurls herself towards Elric, flailing madly at him and slapping him with various parts of her body; it stings her too, but she opts to ignore it. When she stops, falling away, Elric begins a strange, fluttering dance, spinning round in the water, fluttering his fins, giving the occasional cloud of ink off into the water. After a minute of this, Raincorn launches herself at him once again, flailing at him; it doesn't interrupt his dancing, though, leaving him to continue for another couple of minutes, until he finally trails off, feeling decidedly full of energy.

Round 10 Begin!

For once, Elric is the first to move, though move is not really a great description here. In actuality, he begins squeaking insults at Lady Raincorn in that high-pitched voice of his, insulting her, the ones that spawned her, anyone who's ever liked her and anywhere she's ever been; he's intending to send her into a rage, but she simply grins and ignores him. Then, suddenly, she spits out a purple glob, which flies through the water and leaves a murky purple trail behind it; it slams straight into Elric's face, and quickly ends up being breathed in, the toxins quickly absorbing into his bloodstream. He belches up a cloud of ink as he suddenly feels horribly, violently sick, the rushing water quickly carrying it away.

Lady Raincorn moves next, though, her eyes and scales sparkling with a beautiful green light before a translucent shield of the same color forms around her, effectively trapping her in a bubble of still water. She gasps and flails for a second, suddenly pushing against a nonexistent current, but adjusts quickly enough. Elric, realizing that he won't be able to attack, begins his fluttering dance once more, darting back and forth and flapping his fins occasionally. Lady Raincorn lets her shield drop, seeing that he's not going to attack her.

While Elric continues to be lost in his own world of dancing, Lady Raincorn decides to make a friend. The water streaming through her gills suddenly darkens in color, streams of dark blue emitting from her sides; they begin to swirl around her, meeting behind her in a growing orb of dark water. As the darkness from Raincorn trails off, the orb begins to take shape, moulding into a Feebas-shape; it suddenly darts forwards, getting in between Raincorn and Elric. It turns to look at its creator, then looks back; all the while, the trainers are still staring into the water, unable to make out anything that's going on.

Round 11 Begin!

At lightning speed, Elric darts towards the lady Rainicorn, intending to hurl himself into her side. Unfortunately, the dark-water Feebas proves to be problematic: it darts into Elric's path, stopping him from striking its creator. He tries unsuccessfully to get round it for a few seconds before giving up and, instead, hurling himself into the clone and flailing madly. It breaks apart and quickly flows away in the fast-flowing river, and Rainicorn glares at him angrily; she opens her mouth wide and suddenly belches out a vast, dark cloud of what seems to be dark, cold water. It engulfs Elric, and almost instantly he slows right down; at the same time, the boosts to his physical strength melt away.

Suddenly, Rainicorn darts into the cloud and, the back half of her body glowing a bright white as she hurls herself into his body. He is thrown straight back, and then darts right back into the fray for another go. He continues to flail madly, smashing against her and causing her to flinch away. She darts to a safe distance, then her scales shimmer briefly as she concentrates her energy. A flickering, translucent green shield materializes around her, causing her to hurtle into its side as the river's flow stops opposing her. Elric hurls himself straight through it and into her again, flailing madly once more before leaving for fresher water.
