As has been stated beforehand, Madeline only played Meowth in some of the earlier seasons. Meowth's voice won't change until the current actor quits.

This is rather sad, yeah.
 
...Terry, why the hell would someone create a prank about someone dying? I mean, as a desperate plea for attention, maybe, sure, but this isn't Maddie herself saying 'Oh hey guys I'm gonna die soon'. And anyway, being an actor I'm sure she got mroe than enough temperature, so there is no chance it would be a prank at all.
 
Dang. Still sucks though, I mean... I don't follow voice actors, but I hear when they change... I noticed when she left. But anyway, it sucks because now we lost part of our past with this. And of course it sucks to people who actually KNEW her. Anyway... enough with my random thoughts.

*Begins hoping no one else dies soon*
 
i don't know who your talking about, but i'm guessing it's the voice actor of meowth, RIP, i can tell right now, that the new voice will make me never wanna watch the anime again
 
And even if it did call for a new voice actor, it wouldn't make the anime more crappy. Remember, voice actors don't make the anime.
 
Damn.... Maddie was the perfect Meowth... and now he's gonna have a voice that's like a load of s**t. RIP!!!! Now everytime I hear Meowth I'm gonna cry
