• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Alright so I got an email one day about this survey I could do online.
At the end of the survey was a $15 gift certificate for some online stores.
One happened to be www.barewalls.com which specializes in art and posters.
Well I just redid my room and need some stuff to cover my walls.
As I was surfing the website I saw that they had a discount on Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. (It's a replica).
Well I bought it and ended up paying only 75 cents for it.
It arrived today!
It came with a calendar too.
Picture time!
The painting itself.
The calendar. It came with two.
I'm going Friday to possibly get frame.
Now the only dilemma is where to put it X_X

Ah, that's really cool. :3 The painting looks neat. I'm sure you'll find a good place to put it.

Starry Night~ Oh, I adore that painting <33

The song by Don McLean inspired by that picture (Vincent - here) was my granmother's absolute favourite :3

The calendar's nifty, too :D

Well actually the survey was sent from a well trusted person and I checked out the site to make sure it was legit.

This was the email I got (it had some stuff before it that doesn't pertain to the survey and this wasn't sent directly from QVoices):

Hey!

The Q Voices project at the University of Washington has an anonymous
online survey for LGBTQ youth in the United States ages 14-19. There
is a $15 gift certificate valid for use in a number of online or
regular stores (in the US) to say "thanks" to people who complete it.
If you fit that description you can check out the website, learn more,
and take the survey: www.qvoices.org

If you don't think it'll apply to you, but know someone who it does,
feel free to pass this email on to them. Also feel free to spread the
word in any other way.

The survey is designed to learn more about the experiences of LGBTQ
youth so that services tailored to their needs can be created.
Community agencies will be given a report summarizing the information
collected from the survey to help them better meet the needs of youth.

Thanks again everybody.
If you can do that survey be warned it's 116 questions X_X
