Metallica Fanboy & Grass King vs. Karkat Vantas & Legendaryseeker99 (ref: Squornshellous Beta)

Okay Monopole, use Psychic on Shurinam thee times, unless you can't use Psychic on an action, in which case use Zen Headbutt. Finally, if Shurinam protects or detects, then use Shadow Ball on Umbra.

Psychic(@Shurinam)/Zen Headbutt(@Shurinam)/Shadow Ball(@Umbra) ~ Psychic(@Shurinam)/Zen Headbutt(@Shurinam)/Shadow Ball(@Umbra) ~ Psychic(@Shurinam)/Zen Headbutt(@Shurinam)/Shadow Ball(@Umbra)

The round in which Grass King and I command first was skipped due to One, but, might as well go with this.

Focus Energy, then Night Slash away at Umbra.

Switch to a Facade Barrage on the shitfucker if you get burned.

Swords Dance if at any point you cannot perform the commanded move, or if it will fail to strike the given target.

...also, shouldn't the first action be canceled out?

Either way, Swagger against Monopole until it works. After that, Vacuum Wave if Mega doesn't attack you and Revenge if he does.

Okay, just Trick Room, Telekinesis, and Inferno at your Steel-type enemy.

1&1vs1&1 tag battle
Style: Set
DQ: 1 week
Damage Cap: 40%
Banned Moves: OHKOs, direct recovery
Arena: Metallica Gig
We should probably be enjoying the show. But instead we decided to have a Pokemon battle. Oh, how silly we are. Still, we get the cool effect of having the songs played affect the fighting.

A random song will be chosen and played at the beggining of the match. Each song has a set duration, and after that goes up, another randomized song plays. No song will be played twice. If all songs are played before the battle ends, the gig ends, but the trainers stay and finish the battle.

- All Nightmare Long (7 actions): All Pokemon are put to sleep and cannot cure this condition. When this song ends, so does the slumber.
- Cyanide (6 actions): All Pokemon are poisoned severely and cannot cure this condition. When this song ends, so does the poisoning.
- Damage Inc. (5 actions): All battlers take 10% of damage.
- Disposable Heroes (8 actions): No status moves may be used; all Pokemon act as though under effects of Taunt for the duration of the song.
- Enter Sandman (5 actions): All Pokemon have their abilities replaced by their Dream World abilities for the duration of the song.
- Fight Fire With Fire (4 actions): All Pokemon are burned severely and cannot cure this condition. When this song ends, so do the burns.
- For Whom The Bell Tolls (5 actions): All Pokemon are healed of status conditions and may not be afflicted with any new ones for the duration of the song.
- Master of Puppets (8 actions): All Pokemon gain a 10% Substitute at no price of health. When the song ends, any Substitute on field vanishes.
- Nothing Else Matters (6 actions): All opposite-gendered Pokemon become mutually attracted for the duration of the song.
- No Leaf Clover (5 actions): No critical hits may be scored and no secondary effects of moves will activate unless they have a 100% chance to for the duration of the song.
- One (7 actions): All Pokemon are struck by an Explosion and may not move until the song ends.

If any band member of Metallica is harmed by a stray attack, Metallica Fanboy will rip your fucking face off.
Other: Whether the teams are randomized or preset will be left for this challenge's accepters to determine.

Round 3 Begin!

Even after the round begins, the song and hence the Pokémon's paralysis continues for about thirty seconds more. It finally comes to an end, however, and Metallica immediately begin preparations for their next song. With an astonishing suddenness, the Pokémon's paralysis abates, and Shurinam falls flat on his face. As he picks himself up, each of the Pokémon tests out their renewed mobility in various ways, obviously relieved.

Megatherium is the first to resume the battle, loping towards Umbra while cloaking his claws in dark energy. He slashes down on her, his claws passing straight through her mostly-incorporeal body but the dark energy contained therein searing and burning her. Monopole is next, its eyes taking on a pink glow as it manipulates Shurinam, throwing him into the air and then dropping him to the ground, repeatedly. After the last of these, Shurinam stands up and then glares at Monopole, then begins shouting insults at it; while this would normally be ridiculously innefective on an organism whose brain is basically a computer, it manages to take hold on this occasion, oddly enough. Monopole's circuitry is suddenly overwhelmed with blind rage, all of its thoughts overwritten with the desire to turn Shurinam into a thin, Croagunk-shaped paste. It is hindered, however, by the fact that, all of a sudden, it appears to be floating in midair and unable to control it. It looks around for the source, and identifies it as Umbra, whose eye is glowing a bright white color as she holds it up.

Shurinam moves next, whirling his arms around in a complicated pattern. Blades of air whip out from his fingertips and fly towards Megatherium, slicing into his skin quite violently. Megatherium longs to attack him back, but his orders are clear: he once again runs towards and slashes at Umbra with claws cloaked in dark energy, causing her to squeal in pain. Monopole is happy to do the job for him, though, his eyes taking on a harsh pink glow as he tosses the unfortunate Shurinam around like a ragdoll, before eventually dropping him to the ground. Umbra is the last to move, breathing out an enormous column of fire at Monopole. It hits and sears away a large portion of its tough metal exterior, exposing the more vulnerable metal beneath, leaving Monopole in fairly severe pain.

Damage / Energy Calculations
Night Slash - 10% damage, 6% energy (accuracy roll 91, needed 100 to miss)
Psychic - 16% damage, 7% energy (accuracy roll 100, needed 100 to miss - missed)
Swagger - 5% energy (accuracy roll 82, needed 90 or above to miss)
Telekinesis - 6% energy
Vacuum Wave - 5% damage, 2% energy (accuracy roll 94, needed 100 to miss)
Night Slash - 10% damage, 6% energy (accuracy roll 20, needed 100 to miss)
Psychic - 16% damage, 7% energy (accuracy roll 37, needed 100 to miss)
Inferno - 17% damage, 9% energy (accuracy roll 42, needed 100 to miss)

Notes
- Neither Night Slash was a critical hit.
- Neither Psychic lowered special defense.
- The first Psychic actually missed! That is a low chance indeed.
- You didn't specify a target for Vacuum Wave, so it was randomized.
- "Attack @ Target" come on guys :( It takes surprisingly long to fix the formatting of all those commands :(
- Just so I remember, the current speed order is: Vigoroth (90) - Metang and Croagunk (50) - Litwick (20)

Arena Notes
- Metallica are just about to start another song.
- This leaves All Nightmare Long, Cyanide, Damage Inc., Disposable Heroes, Enter Sandman, Fight Fire With Fire, For Whom The Bell Tolls, Master of Puppets, Nothing Else Matters, and No Leaf Clover yet to play.

Next Round
- Karkat Vantas attacks
- Legendaryseeker99 attacks
- Grass King attacks
- Metallica Fanboy attacks

Both Bulbapedia (here) and the A&A guide say it doesn't.

Vacuum Wave - 40 Fighting 100%
Target: Single
Class: Projectile/Priority 1
Stat: Special
Contest Type: First-Priority
Contest Score: +30

The user extends its energy in a powerful wave of fighting energy that sucks all around it into a powerful vacuum. This attack is quick to generate and strikes before most others.

Sorry, could I get an extension on this? I haven't been able to talk with LS recently.

Could use some health...

Ooh, I know--

Drain Punch dat Vigoroth. Three times.

If he protects, use Thief on the floating steel thingy (drop your Rocky thingy if you can't wear it on your head and hold a Reaper Cloth at the same time). Unless you can't get him, in which case Feint dat sloth.

Drain Punch/Thief/Feint x3

First, Inferno Monopole, unless it Protects, in which case use Trick Room. If you are Taunted and would be using Trick Room, use Flamethrower on Megatherium. Next, use Trick Room if you haven't already. If you have, or are Taunted, use Flamethrower on Monopole. Finally, use Acid Armor, or Flame Burst on Monopole if Taunted.
