Re: Pokémon Registration Office

Too powerful; remove the decrease in attack and special attack and either reduce the damage bonus to 1% or remove the energy decrease.
OKAY attempt 2 :<

[Itoshiki Nozomu] Spinarak (M)
Ability: Insomnia
Body Mod: Signature Attribute - I'm in DESPAIR!

Itoshiki Nozomu is a very special snowflake. Having been driven to depression and periodic suicide attempts at a young age (made worse by the fact that, as a Spinarak, he is completely capable of making his own rope to hang himself with) from everything ranging from human stupidity to how pervasive the internet has become to how a very-strange Clefairy seems to have the urge to troll him IRL, the standard smiley face on his back has been replaced with a frown.

As such, he is surrounded by an aura of fear, hatred, and hopelessness which strengthens any attacks he might use that rely on him being upset - Frustration, for one - and is somewhat contagious. His opponents will slowly lose the desire to beat him up - because what reward is there in defeating someone who has already lost? - and are likely to be overwhelmed by the aura of gloom. On the other hand, anything rooted in happiness and goodwill - such as Return - has a stronger-than-usual effect on him.

Effects: +1% damage and -1% energy for all attacks that involve him wallowing in self-pity that he might use (such as Frustration); using Frustration does not make him feel better (because he is IN DESPAIR); he takes 1.5* normal damage from Return and has -1 evasion against any move involving happiness and/or goodwill; being near him for extended lengths of time will lower the mood of any other Pokemon with the exception of Happiny and its evolutions

Reclaiming Spiritomb.

[Tak] Spiritomb (M)
Ability: Pressure

Having a transition in the energy use makes sense right D<

[Spoony] Abra (M) Synchronise
Signature Attribute: Blinking Reflex

Teleportation is an abra’s natural ability almost from birth, and all abra know how to teleport. It is also an easy way to avoid doing crazy things like walking up stairs, and very efficient when you exclude the energy cost. Because he’d been teleporting all his life, it became easier for Spoony to teleport than other teleport-capable pokémon. It still required conscious thought at that point, and a little bit of energy, but that wasn’t too much to ask for to move his rather frail body around.

Once he’d managed to turn teleportation into an efficient and easy way to get to places, he found stuff like walking had been rendered obsolete. Teleportation meant that he didn’t have to worry about obstacles or time, and it was so much easier to sneak up on others. He didn’t like walking, anyway, so he just… stopped. He started to solely use teleportation to get everywhere, and as he wasn’t really that adventurous anyway, so he rarely needed to get to places he’d never seen before. The few occasions he did have to do it, he’d make short teleportation leaps within the confines of his vision, until he got where he needed to go. This constant practise made it even easier to teleport, and in turn there was even less of a reason to walk any more than a few steps at once, if even that. Lack of physical exercise started to take its toll on his body, weakening it physically, but his mental abilities weren’t affected.

Effects: Whenever Spoony needs to get from point A to B, he teleports instead of running or any other type of movement. For short-range teleports (under two metres), he doesn’t use any energy and can teleport up to three times an action. Teleports under three metres take 1% energy and longer-ranged teleports use 2%. If he uses a move that can combo with Teleport, he can perform the combo and use up only one action. Upon being sent out into battle he has an attack and defence decrease of -4 each that doesn’t naturally fade, and any physical attacks are executed as if he has half his usual base speed, plus any speed modifiers.
He cannot be forced to forget or otherwise refuse to teleport any more than a usual pokémon would forget their usual method of movement in the middle of a battle; teleportation no longer truly counts as a move for him. If the opponent is otherwise able to prevent him from going intangible, if he requires the type of movement that would usually cause him to teleport, he can at most take several steps when performing another action.

Re: Pokémon Registration Office

[Pravus] Steelix (Male)

Signature Move: Spawn Eidolon

Pravus - or, technically, Pravus XIV - is the last in a long line of Steelix infamous for their revolutionary ideas. The original Pravus was the one who initiated the first Rebellion against the Legendaries (having realized that he was, in fact, being oppressed without knowing it); since then, every generation has grown increasingly malevolent and selfish in reasoning. The Pravus bloodline culminates here, with the last Pravus being almost unbelievably evil in his ways (and no longer having liberation in mind; he is after world domination, like so many others these days).

A creature so incomparably nasty is, of course, rather adept at manipulating evil energies, and they say that Pravus is even capable of creating sentient beings out of evil itself.

True, very true! For Pravus's immense evil has gifted him with the ability to spawn Eidolons. Every living being has a dark side, and Pravus can use the energy of that dark side to give shape to an Eidolon, which aids him in battle. The Eidolon may be a seemingly mindless creature, but it is very devoted to its creator, and will gladly exhaust its own energies in order to vanquish the master's foes.

Type: Dark / Stat: --- / Base Damage: --- / Accuracy: --- / Target: Self or Ally / Energy: 0% / Duration: ---

Effects: Drawing on the innate evil of an allied target (or himself), Pravus creates an Eidolon in exchange for 30% of the target's health. The Eidolon itself receives those 30% as its own health. If, for some reason, the target has no innate evil, the move will fail.

The Eidolon is a Ghost/Dark-type, and performs Shadow Ball as its only move (it gains STAB). It has only two actions per round, as opposed to three. After performing Shadow Ball a total of 8 times, the Eidolon runs out of essence, imploding in a burst of evil energy.

The Eidolon is mindless, and as such, it is not fazed by moves that affect the target's mind (Attract, Scary Face, Captivate, Sweet Scent etc). However, it takes an extra 2% damage from all sources, being an unstable creation.

Usage Gap: Once per battle

Re: Pokémon Registration Office

Wait, but I put in all Physical attacks. Aren't non-damaging attacks under the classification of Other, and not Physical? Also, got a chance to go on the comp
