Sup. Kai invited me, and I like the premise of this RP very much. I was gonna join the last edition, but it was too late by the time I saw it. So... yay for me?
Name of character: Opal Reim
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: Long, jet-black hair with dark brown eyes. She's very white, but she's got at least a slight tan to her. She stands around 5'6" without her shoes, and she's pretty slender.
Apparel [clothing]: Black tank-top, cuts off two inches above the waistline and low-cut. Very tight-fitting black jeans, and black boots that make her at least half an inch taller than she really is.
Personality: She's... grating and snarky, to put it simply. She also gets annoyed easily. If it's OK, the rest will be PO because I suck at keeping to written-out personalities. ><
Brief: There's not much to say. She really just joined the Underground when she heard of it through word of mouth because she liked the premise.

Personality: Jackson has a very dark personality. He doesn't socialize much. He tends to be stubborn and slightly arrogant. He is very intelligent.

A frozen bullet that penetrates someone's blood stream slows and eventually freezes much of the victim's blood. A regular bullet is just that; a regular bullet.

Late Lett is LATE. But she is here~ I made a few minor changes to my character.
Name of character: Mourmedy Stanton
Age: 34.
Gender: Female
Appearance: Mourmedy has a very stern and sharp face, which usually has a serious expression upon it. Her hair is blond, long, and straight, but stiff-looking. She is quite short, only being 5 feet and three inches and has an average, yet somewhat thin build.
Apparel [clothing]: She wears a long white lab coat, with underneath them wearing black pants and a black shirt. For shoes, she wears black boots and also has glasses upon her face.
Personality: She is a strict and stiff woman who is always serious and frowns on silliness. Her manner is cold and she takes no prisoners. Also, she is very ambitious, and does not let anyone get in the way of her goals. Also, Mourmedy is quite ambitious, working towards her goals to the end. She has been described by others as somewhat robotic and blunt and also, lacking much sympathy. In truth, she is a rather selfish woman and will do whatever she can to get closer towards her goals.
Mourmedy doesn't seem to show much emotions, other than annoyance, and is also often described as robotic. However, she is in actuality quite emotional and prone to going into deep depressions. She is quite vulnerable emotionally and uses this tough exterior to protect herself. She is an insecure woman, and is rather socially inept, lacking social skills due to her childhood. To deal with people, she presents this tough commanding authoritive exterior, when in reality she doesn't know how exactly to socialize or emphathize with them.
Brief: Around the age of 4, her mother cheated on her father and abandoned the family for the new man. From then on, Mourmedy was almost exclusively raised by her father. The loss of her mother is something that affected him quite deeply. Prior to it, he was a kind and happy man. However after that, he became more and more immersed and focused on raising his daughter to be the best, the smartest, to be better than his wife who abandoned him. The man was hardened by the loss of his wife and it showed, he put these principles upon his daughter.
From then on, he was quite the displanarian. They would punish her severely if she ever did something "wrong" or "bad" in his eyes, partly taking out his rage at his wife on her, for she looked quite similar. Growing up with such a strict parent, Mourmedy wasn't given much of a chance to develop social skills or empathy of others. He always taught her one thing - All that matters is how you and you alone feel.
However he also nurtured her love for science, being a retired scientist himself. His motto was always that science had no limits, to ignore all the critics who complained about ethics and so on. And Mourmedy took this to heart. She grew up to be a brilliant child, who was home schooled quite rigorously.
As she grew older, she became increasingly interested with an apparent source of energy, Nexus, which several scientists had found. Mourmedy, seeking to harness this energy, created the Nexus Operation at the age of 25, gathering a team of several other interested scientists. Soon her small Operation grew as the Nexus Phenomenon, as it was called, attracted more and more people of the scientific community. Her discovery of the Nexus Origin has been a massive breakthrough on the Nexus front and has made her already a notable scientist in all things Nexus.

Appearance: He is around 5' 9" with slightly tan skin and a slight build. He has very light blonde hair running down to the bottom of his neck and deep violet eyes.
Apparel: He usually has a dark blue cloak around him, but under it it's just a white t-shirt and close fitting pants. He has a sapphire necklace that he never takes off and he lets nobody touch it.
Personality: He's slightly withdrawn, preferring missions and time alone to himself. He won't try to get himself in trouble, and if he does, he'll try to sneak his way out of it. When he is confronted with a difficult task he alone can't solve, though, he will become outward and work with others to the best of his meager ability.
Brief: He was born on the night of a total lunar eclipse. His mother suffered permanent injuries from the childbirth, and could never walk again. His father was the head scientist at the Research Lab in Azura, working on an experimental drug.One night, though, the day Naygeos turned 18 and another total lunar eclipse happened, the Research Lab was contaminated with the experimental drug and his father was killed. He had to take care of his mother until she died from grief when he was 25. He, from then on, believed that science was for the greater good and even though there are risks, it must be done to further advance society. When he heard of the Nexus Operation and the new form of energy, he immediately joined.

The bullet echoed through the sunrise.
Kai had woken up early that morning in order to complete the mission that Baron had given him: To assassinate the head of research and experimentation. He knelt down on the rooftop of the office building, took his aim, and pulled the trigger. The bullet broke through the glass and pierced the man's temple. He fell to the floor, dead, while an associate called for security. He looked out of the window, and saw only the back of Kai's jacket, as he leapt off the edge of the building. About fifteen storeys high from the ground, he pulled a string from his bag with his open hand, and a parachute trailedbehind him, slowing his descent, allowing him to land on the floor gracefully. He wound the parachute up and ran through the streets of Azura, heading towards the cliffs.

Collapsing into the seat in the reception desk, Jane heard a gunshot. Although she noted that it was odd to here one hear, the fact that she had heard many such gunshots in her life, dulled her to the possibility it was important. it wasn't exactly her job to deal with such issues anyway. She sipped at her coffee, and looked over to the main entrance.
