Open Spirits return...

"Yes sorry about that... I woke up and everyone was gone so yeah..."
Angelo looked up to the sky "But yes... One of the most beautiful i have seen in a centeury..." Then turning back to halen he said "Some nights i imagine my brother up there... And wonder if he approves of how i have been doing my job in the library..."

Edward poked his head out from between two trees, near Halan.

"Hello again... Sorry I just wandered off there. Saw a nice... food object. You know what I mean, my friend?" He said, pawing toward the dog. He barely spared Angelo a glance, just moving toward Halan and placing his chin on the Lucario's knee.

Xhan opened his eyes weakly. His face was on fire, blood sticking his fur together in clumps. He tried to push himself up, then felt an intense pain shoot from his forearm. Poking through his fur was the small tip of a broken bone. He gasped for breath, holding back the tears that threatened to roll down his face. Something broke my fall... He thought. The question was WHAT? Xhan felt a paw place itself gently on his shoulder, then pull back sharply as he gritted his teeth. There was a large gash there, blood warming his side as it trickled down from the wound. He heard his father's comforting voice as he was picked up, and carried away. Xhan heard the jeering coming from Tuman as they walked by him, then an explosion as an Aura Sphere hit the ground centimeters in front of Tuman, Tuman's screamin as he shot into the air, and the thump of when he hit the ground. Xhan could faintly hear Tuman grumbling about no respect, then fell asleep in his father's arms.

Xhan's eyes flickered open again, this time with the warmth of the cave he lived in surrounding him. His paretn's friends had lit a fire for them, and there were rough bandages on his face and shoulder, and a splint on his arm. Xhan sat up with some difficulty, trying to keep quiet so he didn't alert his parents. As he was getting into a more comfortable position, he bent over suddenly as he went into a fit of coughing.

Halan looks down at the feline of his knee, rolling his blue eyes to the heavens. He places a paws on Ed's head and pets the fur there, ruffling it a bit playfully.

"That poor Pidgey."

He holds up his other paw, stopping Edward from speaking, a grin on his face.

"I know it was a Pidgey because I can see the feathers on your chin...fastened there by the blood of the poor pokemon"

Halan then nods at angelo, looking back at the sky.

"Beautiful....the stars shine brightly today..."

Halan then leans down to Edward and lowers his voice, so only he could hear.

"Edward...remember the one I told you about...The little Riolu that I trained....?"

Derish sat up again.Screw it I'm not sleeping. He sat up and messed with a small pebble at his paws. That Lucario better not call me child or anything like that again. This is what most of his thought were centered. on.

"I am leaving for a while... If i am not back by the time xhan wakes up then tell him i shall be back before noon... But then again knowing him he won't be up before that so..."
Angelo turned around and cast will-o-the-wisps onto the ground in front of him, creating a pentagram on it. Then fired a shadow ball at it and floated into it as a wall of light went up around him and teleported him to the library.

-----------------------------------

As angelo appeared in the library the lights snapped on and he saw a figure in the middle of the room... It was... A statue. "Strange... I don't remember that being there before... Oh well..." As he turned and floated to his shell and went in. "Now where did i put it..."

---
Suddenly, Xhan was swarmed with questions about why he was trying to get up. He tried to answer, but he couldn't find an openeing. So he closed his eyes, and just fell asleep...

Xhan woke up again, less groggy this time. His splint and bandages were gone. He looked around. The moon was... A new moon! Last time Xhan had looked at the moon it was full. "Wha-?" Xhan had a splitting headache, and he began to rub his head, until he got to the right side. He quickly retracted his paw, then brought it back. He mavoed along the line of the scar, his sorrow for himself growing deeper with every centimeter, every inch. He stood up, with a little difficulty, and walked to the edge of the cave. The stars were bright, the sky was clear, and the lake was still. The sorrow left Xhan, but he still wasn't the same, and he knew it. Before, he had been one to just do things, but now... He was afraid to go near that cliff, he could see it in the distance. He was afraid to go near Tuman and his cronies, he was afraid to be alone out there. "Maybe.... I'm not... Supposed to be here right now..." He thought aloud. He felt a paw on his shoulder. He flinched when it touched him, then realized it was his father.
"If you were supposed to be dead, you would be. You must have a reason for living, else you wouldn't have lived." Xhan looked up at his father. He was right. But Xhan didn't even have a clue what that reason was. The way his father's face looked, though, he knew perfectly well what Xhan would end up doing...

---
The dream ended, and Xhan entered a dreamless sleep.

Angelo picked up a book and looked into it. "Hmm... Here it is... So that's who she is... Very interesting... I shall have to keep an eye on her..." He shut the book as he turned around and floated out of his shell, Setting the book down on a desk outside. "It's time to get back then..." Angelo floated into the circle and warped. However, His landing was not as steady as he planned. As he landed on top of a pidgey that was near halan. "Oww..."

Derish had left the camp a while ago. From what he could gather no one noticed. He was thinking of his daughter. He felt so guilty about what had happened that day.

(Halan asked Ed a question. Please post? O~O)
Xhan turned over, and pricked his face with a twig. He sat up sharply, looking from side to side rapidly. He realized nothing was wrong, but was now wide awake. "I'm goin' to the lake. I think sand might be more comfortable than this." Xhan swooped up his backpack, and walked to the lake. After a few yards, he turned around, and started walking backwards. "Anyone wanna' come with me?"

((She's been bugging to to post, keke. I kinda forgot to xD))

Edward tilted his head to the side.

"Hm. yes, I seem to recall. Why?" He said, blinking his large gold eyes as he brushed the remains of he meal off his face. "Did something happen to him?"

"Well, to tell you the truth it's--"

Halan looks up when Xhan called to everyone, asking if they'd like to join him at the beach. Halan chuckles, waving him off.

"Maybe later. Enjoy your nap"

Halan then lets out a pained sigh, looking back down at Edward.

"...it's him. That's the one I told you about. My student and my..well, you already know what else he is"

Xhan shrugged, and turned back around. He arrived at the lake, and sat down on the small beach. He stared up at the full moon, shifting his eyes to it's reflection. Whenever he saw light reflected on water like that, he'd remember. And it had become natural for him to feel his scar, as he started doing then. Now the memory was clearer in his mind, after his dream. It was more terrifying, and he might never want to go near another mountain again.

Derish walked out towards Xhan silently. He sat down next to him. "What are you doing out here all alone?" He asked bluntly.

"I'm sitting." Xhan abrublty sat up, taking his paw away from his face. "enjoying the view. That's ll, why do you ask? I'm not doing anything wrong, why do you want to know?" Xhan's feet began to heat up, telling him that no matter what he told himself, he was nervous. For what reason, he had no idea.

Derish chuckled slighty. "No need to be nervous. The sun will rise soon. I think we should get going." He suggested.

Firebird, still energetic, groaned, "The night's almost over already?"

But then she smiled. "Well, that means we can head off and continue! The closer we get, the better."

"Uh... Yeah... Right... I... Just have to, um... Go over there for a minute..." Xhan rushed behind a rock, where nobody could see him, wher he rubbed his forehead. He had a headache again. This time it was from thinking too much. He was worried about getting to mount moon, he wanted to be a good leader, but he didn't know if he could be. Maybe he could give that job to Derish, or Halan, or Angelo, Firebird, but why was it HIM?!!! He shook his head, wondering what he would do if many more people showed up. How was he supposed to reject people from joining the group? He couldn't. He was too nice, too soft to reject anyone. He was too soft to lead. Too soft of depend on. Too soft to live.

Derish wondered what had gotten into Xhan. "I'll go wake everyone up back at camp I guess." He turned and headed back into camp. Derish was around camp when he climbed up a tree. He smelt out Where Amryll was sleeping. He prepared himslef and yelled "CANNONBALLLLLL!!!" He jumped and was aiming for Amryll but ended up hitting a rock.

Vanish looked up. He had been awake, but just standing there. "Sorry for spacing out," he said, moving a couple of his fingers from and to nowhere. "To Mount Moon, right?" He didn't know how soon they'd be leaving, but he guessed it was soon.
