• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Spirits return...

Halan chuckles under his breath, holding Xhan closer so he won't fall and get further hurt.

"I think I blasted them a quarter mile that way from my last attack. You're free to find them and do as you please, but I don't advise it at the moment."

He then hops out of the tree and turns to the direction of camp. He carries Xhan and starts to walk.

"Young Pikachu, would you please tell me if anyone can use any healing moves back at back at camp? It would be wise for Xhan to get some help"

((Damn typos...they should die a fiery death))

Halan smiles at the Mewtwo, still walking towards camp.

"That would be good. Thank you for the offer."

He continues to walk, sensing the auras of the others to help guide him to the camp, his thoughts surrounding the worry of Xhan.

Xhan...how did they capture you...?

"...Mewtwo...if you don't mind me asking. What name do you go by?"

((That's the problem at, Yoshi. I CAN'T THINK OF ANY EPIC PLOTS! >:( In fact, I can't think of many plots at all, epic or not.))

Firebird sighed, looking around. There were no insects near her, but she wasn't hungry anyway. When would the others decide to leave? They were being awfully quiet. But that was probably just because they were sleeping.

Derish had made his way back to camp. As soon as he stepped out of the tree cover he knew it was night. He also knew tonight was a full moon. He resisted and hoped no tried to irratate him. He layed down and went to sleep.

((@ Darksong- Well, if any sort of idea happens to pop in your head while you're posting or something, just tell me.))
---
Xhan opened his eyes fully. "Uh.... Can you put me down? This feels wierd being carried by you when I'm plenty good enough at walking." He thought for a moment. and remembered Tuman. His eyes widened, and he jumped out of Halan's arms, and went back to the place Tuman and his friend had been.

((That's the problem. The chance is close to zero for any idea at all, epic or not, to come to me. I fail at plots D: So... I don't think I'll be able to make the new years' deadline, as much as I desire for Firebird to be somehow important... right now I feel like she's just a filler character, being used for everyone else's advantage and not hers...))

"Masquerade." came Masquerade's simple reply. Erican followed Xhan. "Do you sense their aura or something?" Erican asked. His eyes glowed purple, showing a minor sign of rage. "Because if you do, I'll give them a piece of my mind..."

A pair of golden eyes glimmered in the dark of the forest. They seemed to glow with an eerie fire, and they locked on the Pikachu. The eyes blinked once, then lowered - their owner was crouching.

Prey.

(( hi guys :D))

((Post ninjad!))

"No... This is PERSONAL." Xhan ran faster upon the word personal. He didn't care that branches whipped his face, or that his feet were getting bruised from hitting rocks. All he cared about right now was Tuman.

Derish bolted up from his slumber. Another nightmare, but this one was different. He stood and inhaled to try and calm down. He caught a scent. Feline. He silenty moved into the trees. He steadily came up on Xhan and the other scent and realized the Feline was stalking them. He silently advanced up behind the Feline which he identifyed as a Persian. He said just loud enough for the Persian to hear "Scavenging's eaiser."

Halan watches Xhan go back to where the fiends once were. He shakes his head and turns to go after him, when the voice of the houndour reaches him.

"What are you - -"

It is then that he sees the bright red Aura in the bushes. He hops into a tree and studies the aura, readying a aura sphere in his paw.

That Aura...it's familiar...no...it can't be...

The Persian hissed darkly, the gem on his forehead glowing red - charging a Power Gem.

Then, he saw Halan. The glow stopped.

"...Halan?"

Halan lowers his arm and lets out a loud barking laugh, slumping against the trunk of the tree.

"Jeezzz, Edward...you gave me a heart attack. What have you been up to for these past years, my d- ...old friend"

He hops out of the tree and waits for Ed to walk over. He then looks to where Xhan went.

"Xhan...they are gone. Give it up young Lucario..."

Xhan began to feel the sting of his cuts and bruises as he ran closer to where Tuman and his friend had been. But when he finally got to where he had last seen them, they were gone. He couldn't even find the Aura of the bodies they were using. Angrily, he sank to his knees, and pounded his fist into the dirt, tears streaking his face, shading his fur.He lay on the ground silently for a few more moments, and then wiped his face with the scarf. Then he remembered what he had overheard from Tuman and his friend. He jumped to his feet, and raced back, more careful to not run into everything on the way.

Moon jumped around and struggled as hard as he could, but he noticed his attempts were useless. But he could not stop. If he stopped, what would become of him? He did not know, and not plan to.

Halan watches Xhan's pained expression, a feeling of his heart twisting within his chest appearing. He holds out his hand in a gesture of beckoning.

"Xhan...what happened between you and others spirits?"

erish sat in silence. "I'll go get the others." he said. He turned around and began to work his way back to camp.

"Uh... nothing.... I just.... don't like spirits, that's all..." Xhan sheepishly tried to escape the interigation. He never was good at telling stories. "It's nothing to worry about, I mean.... It's nothing personal..."

Halan crosses his arms and gives Xhan a stern look, a "don't even try to lie" look on his face.

"Xhan. I heard you yell 'This is Personal' when you went to where the spirits were before. Something happened between you and those two. If you want to keep it to yourself, fine then. But don't lie to me or anyone else in this group"

He then looks back at the Persain beside him.

"Edward. Where have you been all this time?"
