• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

    Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

    Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open The Paladins {Now Started}

Re: The Paladins

Sweet. I'll just make my form now, I decided to steal a few things from the other form..
Name: Stormfeather (or Storm)
Gender: Female
Good or Bad: Good, most of the time
Appearance: She's almost completely black, with feathered wings. The tips of her feathers are red, and she has three-pointed ears (like a Salamence). Storm is a quadruped, and pretty much a regular European dragon.
Personality: PO'd, I hate writing these.
Other: You're fly for letting me be a dragon =D

Re: The Paladins

I am on the D.A.R.K side. (Death attempting radioactive kale)

Though I suppose you mean The bad guy.

Re: The Paladins

Name: Sir Ned Alas
Gender: Sir.
Personality: PO.
Appearance: Brown hair, 5'11". Not that muscular. He wears a very faded green tunic, but always has chain mail underneath as a precaution. He wears ordinary sandals and always has a sword on his hip, accompanied by a bow and quiver.
Good: Dragon Rider.
Type of Magic: Light.
Power Skill: Can set off a powerful light storm inducing lightning for enemies, healing for allies, and can light a night sky. Effects on the user vary by energy level. If a tired person uses it, it will KO or kill them. If someone who, say, woke up three hours ago and ate tons of protein did it, they would just get tired.
Other: My dragon can fly like a fly fly's fly fly. Speaking of which:

Name: Jaed
Appearance: An emerald green dragon. He has turquoise blue wings with jade colored edges.
Personality: Wise and dragonlike, PO.
Other: Hatched from an egg found in a forest.

Edited.

Re: The Paladins{NEEDS the big bad guy to start.}

Eh, why not? I've been playing lots of evil people recently, so another one can't hurt...

Name: Sir Mortimer Helvor

Gender: Male

Personality: Completely heartless and malicious, Helvor will stop at nothing on his insane quest for power over the land. He has no sympathy for anything except himself. Otherwise PO.

Appearance: He is very tall and intimidating, with jet-black hair, dark blue eyes and a large scar across the left side of his pale face. He wears armour made of a non-reflective dark metal, as well as a long, black cape. At his waist hangs a huge, heavy broadsword.

Good or Bad: Bad, obviously.

Type of Magic: Dark.

Power Skill: His hands crackle with electricity, and he swings his sword into the air before driving it into the ground, creating a fissure in the earth from which bolts of dark magic leap out and strike anything that gets too close. What happens to him depends on the size of the fissure - if it is relatively small he will just get a little dizzy, if it is large he will probably faint and if it is absolutely huge there is a chance he will die.

Other: One thing that really annoys him is people who put themselves into personality labels such as 'cool', 'stylish' or 'fly'.

Re: The Paladins{NEEDS the big bad guy to start.}

Accepted, And, WE BEGIN!
------------------------------------
King Phillip was sitting at his table, and had just called to order a meeting with all of his royal knights, so that he could tell them about the perilous journey that they would have to embark on to defeat a former knight, Sir Mortimer Helvor. "Order, ORDER!" he yelled, and once everybody calmed down he said, "As you all should know a former knight, Sir Helvor, has gone against us for unknown reasons. He is planning an attack on us from the small fortress that he has created in the west. We must get to him before he gets to us. He has trained his Paladins in some very powerful magic, but so have I. We must go and fight to the death. Now, I am not requiring you to go, but I think that if yyou have any honor and nobility, you will follow me." He raised his sword to the air, and all of the knights knew that if they followed this action that they would be following KP to Helvor's fortress.

Re: The Paladins{NEEDS the big bad guy to start.}

"I'll come."
A man sitting at the table spoke up. He was a Dragon Rider. "When are we going?"

Re: The Paladins{NEEDS the big bad guy to start.}

((Darn it! If nobody had volunteered I was going to. Oh Well.

And where is Helvor's fortress? Is it near mountains? Woods?))

A giant, Bone-white dragon came flying from a far-off distance. It touched down, and a cloaked man jumped from it.

"Don't be long," The Dragon snarled, "You know I don't like to be kpet waiting."

'I only take as long as my Lord desires," the cloaked one said, "If he wanted to keep me for days or only a minute, I wouldn't complain. You need to know that while you may be a 'god' you're not my master."

"Fine. Just go."

Re: The Paladins{NEEDS the big bad guy to start.}

((In the west are the mountains. Also, ZC being Helvor makes him a DM. Just thought all should know that.))

((So, would Storm be with you right now, or do you meet up with her while you go? I assume that everyone knows her, then.))

((Kay.))
Storm raised a claw, one of the first of do so, even among the humans.
"I'm with you," she agreed. "Whenever we're ready."

Ilia did the same as the king, then added quietly,
"Of course, I'll go as well."
We need someone to be a guard, as well as fighting. That's what I'm best at, right? Protecting others? Fight to the death.. well, the second half of that doesn't have to happen to any of us right away. Hopefully. I'm ready.

Dame Sapphire Arashi nodded. "I will follow you," she said, bowing her head slightly. Of course she had honor and nobility, so now, she would prove herself, finally...
