Open The Pokemon of the Sky

Spirit closed his eyes. The Sucker Punches failed due to there not being an attack, and Hypnosis requires one thing to work: The ability for your opponent to see. Eric grinned. "Heh. This will be too easy. Spirit, Shadow Claw!"

One of the Gengar appeared in fron of Flower suddenly and punched her powerfully. A sucker punch. Meanwhile, another Gengar yelped and fainted from the Dragon Rush. A third one grabbed Mist and grinned, glowing. He was about to explode
 
A Skarmory attacked with a Steel Wing. The other three used Night Slash

Jax was hiking up through the ring.

"I need some company." Jax muttered, "Osie! Klavier! Come out!"

The two Pokeballs opened to reveal the Sandshrew and Buneary.
 
Cyrus grinned. "Azelf, Thunderbolt," he commanded. The legendary Pokemon replied. The bolts of lightning tore through the area and blasted the birds out of the sky with ease
 
Jax started sprinting. She ran out of steam quickly though. She collapsed.

"Ugh...." she moaned, "I guess this is a good place to rest and eat."

She pulled out a container full of miscelleneous foods and a glass grade juice bottle.

Osie poked his head into her bag. He ended up slamming into a laptop.
 
Lucidia noticed what the Gengar was about to do just in time.

"Flower, Protect!" she shouted. "Mist, you use it to, just in case!"
 
"Blade saw three Gengars appear in front of him. He brought out Moon and Solon. "Moon, use Faint Attack! Solon, use Psychic!" he shouted the commands for his Pokémon.
 
The one Gengar exploded against Mist, but to no effect. The roasted ghost type fell to the ground, fainted. It melted into a puddle of shadow that disintegrated into nothing. The other Gengar, happy with hitting by using Sucker Punch, began to use Shadow Punch, but was blocked by a forcefield.

Meanwhile, the Gengar facing Blade used Sucker Punch. The one that punched Moon was disappointed with the result, and fainted as the Faint Attack slammed into him. The other one cackled in glee as its Sucker Punch sent Solon flying high. The third one used Shadow Ball at the sky high Solon as the one who punched the Espeon suddenly crumpled to the ground in pain as it was hit by a powerful Psychic attack.

(shadow_lugia, protect wouldn't work against Sucker Punch, as it is a move that strikes only when the opponent attacks, hitting first. It was in response to Flower's earlier attack, so Protect would have been too late)
 
((I actually meant for Mist to use Protect after that Sucker Punch on the next move, in case one of the other Gengar tried to attack him with another Explosion or something. He did indeed get hit by the Sucker Punch, but I was just ordering him to use Protect on the next turn))
 
Ohayou, flying around on Squishy like a Lakitu, watched the battle from above.
"Frost, Spin, Heat, get ready." He muttered, releasing his Rotom.

The three Pokemon approached the Gengar from behind, and with a silent signal from Squishy, the fired a simultaneous Ominous Wind.
 
Espeon, in pain, used Psychic again, immediately after the first, without being told. Blade sent out Glacier to attack the Shadow Ball Gengar with a Blizzard.
 
Garzum's eyes widened. "Look out, it's an Entei!" Whispering to Caradence, he said, "You might want to attempt capture..."
 
Caradence took one of the two PokéBalls from her belt. Even though she only had two, they were very powerful Pokémon. As she threw it, she cried, "Jamin, come on!"

When the red light faded, hovering in the air was something that looked like a beak with a face and wings. A Pelipper. Gracefully, it practically levitated with little effort.

Jamin has had lots of flying practice.

The Gengar facing Ohayou had no chance. All three fainted quickly before they could even turn. The Ominous Wind had an unintended secondary effect. It pushed away the good, clean air, causing it to whoosh under Solon. The wind caused the Espeon's fall to slow down, as it formed an updraft due to the terrain nearby. Another Gengar fell to Solon. Blade and Ohayou were now Gengar-free.

The Entei roared at the Pelipper, trying to scare the water type away long enough to use a Sunny Day
 
Transmitting messages from Ohayou to the rest of the Rotom, Squishy told the three Rotom to aim their next attacks at the Gengar fighting Eric.
 
"Crap crap crap crap CRAPPITY CRAAAP!" Mysti yelled as she brought out Steel Wing. "Torch all the of those Gengar with Flamethrower!"
 
"Steel Wing, after they use Protect, they most likely will fail again! Use Flamethrower on all of them, once more!"
