Well, this looks very fun. And it looks like it'll last longer than the EOn War

In the early hours of the morning, as the sun rose and cast a pallet of colors in the sky, a bunch of curious-looking characters were crowding into an anything-but small dojo. It had quite the tatami feel - surely a place you could feel at home at. At the same time, it was a very large and looming building. Stepping inside, they noticed a note posted on the wall. It read...

"Welcome, fighters. If you take the stairs, your rooms are on the three floors. They're made to hold two roomates, just so you know. I'll be here tommorrow morning for our exercises, so take your time to settle in!

As Shadow looked at the note on the wall of the dojo. Hmm, I wonder if Mecha Sonic is here, he's pretty emotionless, like me he thought.
 
A young two-tailed fox read the note and looked around, wandering most aimlessly.

Wow, there's so many people here. I even think I saw Shadow! he thought to himself, But I wonder where Sonic went off to, or if he's even here. Hope he remembered to show up...If not, oh well. There's so many people here I'm bound to find a friend somewhere.

Idly, he pulled a small machine and a screwdriver out of his pack and started fiddling with it.

Meanwhile, a small blond boy looked down from the note nervously, trying not to draw too much attention to himself. ...I don't know anybody here. How am I supposed to find a roommate? Oh, why did I ever let Kumatora talk me into this?

With all his courage, he began to look around and hoped someone would come to him.

A royal-looking girl quickly glanced around the hallway. She noticed the poster on the wall and proceeded to read it. "Hmmm...a roommate. Well, this could be a good thing or a bad thing." She grinned. "Of course, if they really annoy me, I could always change into Shieky and pummel their brains out."

Meanwhile, a dog-like creature read the poster as well. He simply thought, "Well, I'd better be paired with a good opponent."

Meta Knight leaned back on the wall slowly, looking as if he was going to drift off. As he thought, he made one thing clear to himself: If he was to have a roomate, he doesn't want it to be anyone he knows. He couldn't stand Dedede, and he was sick of seeing Kirby. Imbeciles, the whole lot of them.

Never mind that, he thought, I'm sure I'll find someone I can tolerate. Preferably someone who rarely speaks...

((I know, I view Meta Knight as a more of a depressive, less robotic and slightly more self-proclaimed type. But how often does he speak in the video games, anyways? Nothing wrong with fan made details.))
 
A steel and stone behemoth crashed through the hall towards whatever the others were reading. Pasted onto the wall was a poster. It announced where their quarters were to be. Then the steel-plated monster read the second sentence again. Roomate? Roomate?! These better be big rooms they're talking about here, because it doesn't look like anybody here could coexist with a guy like me inside any old room., he thought with a sneer, as he walked away from the poster and sat against the opposite wall, with a thud.
 
Pit walked into the dojo and looked around. There were so many people here, and some weren't even people! He pushed past the crowd and saw the poster. Pit hoped he could find a roommate, and have a good time here. He folded his wings and walked into the mass of battlers, and soon to be opponents.

((From Pit's..err..appearance on Brawl, he seems kind of happy-go-lucky, or something close. Has anyone actually played Kid Icarus?))
