Open Warriors: Rise of The BloodMoon

Owlstar was in the middle of WindClan camp, about to announce who would be going to the gathering.
"Nettleflight, Larkflight, Gravelpaw, Swallowpaw, Brambleshadow, Brackenwing, and Cinderfrost will go to the gathering." Owlstar was a bit nervous. It was her first gathering as leader of WindClan; last time she was accompanied by Fernstar, the previous leader. And with all this other trouble, who knows what could happen.

~~~
"Maplepaw, are you here?" Maplepaw heard Kestrelfeather's worried mew. The young apprentice returned from dirtplace.
"I'm here," she mewed. "Can we do battle training today?"
((@Cryptica: Yeah, she is))
~Brambleshadow~
Brambleshadow listened carefully to the words of Owlstar. So, I'm going to the Gathering, eh? Should be fun. I think it's Swallowpaw's first as well, so I'd better go tell him.
She dashed to the apprentice's den and found Swallowpaw resting inside. "Hey, sleepyhead, you're going to the gathering."
*Mudstar*
Mudstar was heading toward the leader's den. He heard Stormfeather calling, "Muuuuuuuuuudstar..." from inside. He waited until she exited, and pounced on her. "Boo."
Stealthstar scrambled onto a high Branch in the camp.
"The following cats shall attend the Gathering:
Hailfrost, Suntail, Snowfoot, Bluebird, Rowanpelt, Cloudwhisker, Crowpelt, and Scartail."
I should get some rest before the gathering, Owlstar thought. She padded over to her den and fell asleep quickly.
Owlstar was dreaming.
"Fernstar? Are you here?" Owlstar was wandering through an unknown stretch of moorland.
"Owlstar! There is something I need to ask of you!" A starry Fernstar came into Owlstar's sight. "Please. Do not let there be any violence at the gathering. Please."
"Wait! Why would cats figt at a gathering?" Owlstar tried to call out to Fernstar, but the starry cat was already fading.
Owlstar awoke, realizing it was almost time for the gathering. What did Fernstar mean?
Leopardtail sat in the medecine den, her thoughts wandering. Lately she'd been kind of adrift, and didn't realize most of it.
"Leopardtail?"
Bluekit was standing at the entrance of the den. "Oh, Bluekit." Leopardtail said, "Did you go to the river?"
Bluekit stared at her. The river is too far away."
"Oh? I must have forgotten. Oh well."
Bluekit stood there for a couple of seconds, but eventually turned and left. Leopardtail must be up with StarClan if she forgot about something as big as that! She thought.
Hailfrost prowled away from the Clan meeting as the cats began to disperse. A tiny smirk played across her features; she rather enjoyed slinking around through the crowd at the Gathering, listening to the other cats gossip and chat. They tended to let more information slip than they really meant to, and this was always useful--if not for ShadowClan (like she cared anyway), at least for herself. It was fun to have something to hold over another's head, ensuring that they would do anything she asked.
Ignoring Suntail's call for her to join an evening patrol, Hailfrost stalked across the clearing to the warriors' den. It was mandatory, she decided, that she get some rest before trekking through both RiverClan and ShadowClan territory to get to the island. Slipping beneath the low-hanging branches of the den, she curled up in her nest, still close to the edge of the bush despite the fact that she was not one of the younger warriors, and let herself drift into the comfort of sleep.
Nightwind padded into the ThunderClan camp, his jaws laden with fresh-kill. The warriors who had accompanied him on the hunting patrol brushed past him and headed for the fresh-kill pile to deposit their catch. He followed, relinquishing his prey as a few other cats plodded eagerly up to the pile.
Snatching a sparrow before it could be claimed by another, Nightwind wandered off to a rock that jutted out from the ground. As he settled down to devour the bird, he glanced anxiously up at the Highledge. He could almost hear the familiar summons ringing through the hollow; it was nearly time to head for the Gathering. Spitting out a feather, he idly wondered if he would be chosen to attend. Nightwind wasn't particularly concerned with going to the Gathering, unlike most warriors, but it was always nice to know what had been going on in the other Clans as of late. Besides, he really wasn't convinced that Lakestorm had understood when he explained to her the exact amount of prey each cat was required to provide in order for its Clan to function properly. It was a very simple problem, but he thought that she needed him to go over it again before she could comprehend it. Then again, perhaps she wasn't nearly as eager to hear what he had to say on the matter than he had originally thought. Nightwind had never been good at guessing other cats' emotions.
Nettleflight turned his head towards Owlstar and nodded in acknowledgement. He felt a paw gently cuff his ear, and he nearly fell over from surprise. Whirling around, he noticed it was only Swallowpaw.
"I'm going to the gathering~" said the apprentice, although his face didn't look all that hyper.
Flicking his tail to show apprehension, Nettleflight climbed to the top of the announcement spot and raised his voice. "I, Nettleflight, will accompany Swallowpaw, Cinderfrost and Brambleshadow on the next ga- er, patrol." Slightly embarrassed, he gently leaped down and stepped on the sand. He had been about to say "gathering...." was it on his mind already?"
((Uh, Flametail, Snowfoot's my character, and the Medicine cat))
This is it
Stealthstar paced his den restlessly.
I received my nine lives only a few sunrises ago, and now the Gathering is near. How will they react, I wonder?
It wasn't that long ago that he had been Stealtheyes, loyal deputy to Smokestar. He hoped to become far older and more experienced by the time he stepped up to the position of leader.
Fate doesn't work that way, though, he thought, Even now, I wonder if Smokestar chose well.
"You worry too much."
Stealthstar nearly jumped at the sound of his sister's voice. "Was I saying that aloud?"
"It wouldn't matter if you did," she said, "I can tell that you're worried about becoming leader at this age."
"And you wouldn't be?"
"It's natural to be afraid that you don't follow the expectations. But you'll do fine," she said, "I know you will."
'The cats going to the gathering are...' Goldenstar announced slowly so everyone would have time to stop and listen.
'These cats will be...Lakestorm, Gladeshadow, Goldenfeather, Redpaw, Icepelt and of course I will be attending. Thank you everyone' Goldenstar finished.
Everyone returned to doing whatever they were doing and Goldenfeather rushed up to Goldenstar.
'Goldenstar, I will take Rainpaw to the gathering' Goldenfeather meowed.
'That may be but Rainpaw is well...'
'Please?' Goldenfeather begged, 'Rainpaw is really excited and it would really sadden him'
'Fine fine' Goldenstar answered making another announcement.
'Rainpaw will also be attending the gathering. Thank you once again for listening' Goldenstar shouted in her loud, echoing voice.
Goldenfeather started walking over to where the gatherig would take place. She spotted Icepelt walking over as well.
'Hi Icepelt' Goldenfeather shouted.
'Hi Goldenfeather!' Icepelt shouted.
'So...anything new?' Goldenfeather asked.
'I got an apprentice!' Icepelt meowed excitedly 'And it's a she cat. She's called Frozenpaw and she reminds me of myself when I was younger...but apart from that nothing much'
'Nothing here, I live a boring life...' Goldenfeather sighed.
'Still wishing for Clan leader?' Icepelt questioned.
'Yeah I suppose...' Goldenfeather answered grimly...
((Making an NPC...and Icepelt/Frozenpaw are always in well...very light blue))
((Wait! I thought I wasn't going, but...))
Gladeshadow heard the call for a Clan meeting. After he heard his name called to go, he packed up his things and brought some herbs for strength and just in case anything bad happened during the Gathering
((Well, I did say in my first post I was wondering what they were going to do at the Gathering. I technically didn't say it, but...))
((Hey, Exo-Raikou, is my second character accepted?))
((Sorry if I seem a little ignorant, this is my first RPG at TCoD, so I'm still not sure how everything works.))
((Maybe something like 'Starclan fortells great danger to the clans or whatever...and has sent warnings.
Well it does say in the plot thingy
'An enemy the likes of which that they have not faced since the time of the Great Leaders.' Maybe the Medicine Cat was sent a dream or some other thing. I think that'd be Styli...just a random idea...))
((Well, if we do something like that, it'll have to happen after the Gathering))
((Stop OOCing and bloody post >:/))
Stormfeather collapsed under Mudstar, and twisted as hard as she could.
"Mudstar!" She panted. "You always have to keep me on my paws, don't you?" Stormfeather grinned. "Well, the Clan needs to be ready. Who's going to the Gathering?"
Kestrelfeather sighed inwardly. You have to be worried all the time, don't you? Her tail tip twitched. I told you to shut up.
"Maybe not right now, the Gathering is soon." Kestrelfeather thought a moment. "But tomorrow, I'll take you battle training, and hunting the whole day!" In a whisper, "We'll keep you from checking the elders for ticks."
((Actually, they both suffer from voice-in-the-head syndrome. =D))
((I have plans for what's going to happen. It will merely be a foreshadowing
EDIT: @Chewy: Sorry, didn't see your form. Accepted))
"Oh. Okay." Maplepaw was a bit disapointed. It was lonely in the apprentice's den, and she wasn't sleepy. Too bad it would be a while before Tanglekit and Bluekit were out of the nursury. I can't really go for a walk right now, Mudstar could announce who's going to the gathering anytime. Maplepaw hated waiting. I guess I'll just eat a piece of fresh-kill so I don't starve at the gathering, if I even get to go. Maplepaw sighed. She had never been to a gathering before. I wish there was another apprentice to play with. There's never anything to do or anyone to have a contest with. If I ever challenged Kestrelfeather to a hunting contest, she'd beat me every time. There's nobody who has about the same amount of experience as me.
