• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Warriors: Rise of The BloodMoon

((No. NPCs aren't technically counted towards the two character limit, considering that others can control them within reason))

((Making NPC kit for ThunderClan, cuz i feel like it.
Name: Bluekit
Gender: Female
Age: Very ancient (I mean 5 moons)
Clan: Thunderclan
Rank: Kit
Personality: Very brave and wild. Explores often.
Appearance: Bluekit has fur that if hit by the right light will shine with a blueish tint. Otherwise it is black. She has white 'socks' (white paws, basically) and her tail is tipped with white.

Leopardtail looked up as a kit walked in, nursing her tail. Leopardtail sighed.
"Hurt again, Bluekit?"
Bluekit smiled shyly at her showing her tail. A vertical gash leaked blood and stained the white tip.
"Now how did you do that?" Leopardtail asked.
"I split it on a branch when I was rolling down a hill."
Leopardtail didn't bother asking why Bluekit was rolling down the hill, because she knew the answer was going to be 'just for fun'.
Gently, Leopardtail took Bluekit's tail and began licking it to clear the wound. Then she gave Bluepkit a leaf to chew on. It would distract her while Leopardtail tied some flexible dry grass around the wound to help close it.
"Here." Leopardtail said when she finished tying it, "Go dip your tail in the water if you want to numb it. It will prevent swelling, too."
Once Bluekit had gone, Leopardtail sat with a sigh, her mind straying once again to the Gathering.

At the same time that Bluekit was waddling out of the Medicine Cat den, Tanglekit could be seen running out of the Nursery into the cleaering. He hit her with a crash. Rubbing his small head, he blinked up at the older kit. "Where are you going," he asked with a small whine.

((Well, I haven't read one of the book's in a while, actually. ^^'))

Bluekit looked at the smaller kit that had just crashed into her. Luckily he hadn't rammed into her tail.
"I'm going to the river."

Tanglekit titled his head. "There's a river now? I thought there was only the lake? And that's a far off walk," he remarked, battng at her tail slightly.

Bluebird -- ShadowClan deputy

Bluebird padded up to Stealthstar, smiling amiably. "Ready?" She asked the new leader. "I'm confident about this... I've always liked Gatherings." The gray-blue she-cat sat down and put her eyes up to the moon for a moment, making her face look like a Barn Owl's. And for a moment, she did feel like a bird.

-----

Eaglefeather -- WindClan queen

She sighed as she rolled over into a different position. Wouldn't the warriors just let her sleep? Drowsily, she sat up, looking into the sky from the den that was not protected from the top. In fact, it was merely a small dip in the ground surrounded by gorse plants. But Eaglefeather didn't mind, since she had a strong connection with StarClan, like all WindClan cats. For a moment, she began grooming her long fur, the white shining in the moonlight like a spiderweb, but her black ears and tail-tip blended in with the night, making it look like they had disappeared.

Bluekit whipped her tail away with a hiss, biting down a pitiful meow.
"River, lake, same diff. It was Leopardtail who told me anyway, so if you have a problem with that, as her." Bluekit looked up at the sun. It was getting close to noon.
"Well, better go. Don't want to waste my entire day for that."
Bluekit was about to walk away, but stopped. "Well she told me to go to stop it from swelling, but if it's going to be that long away, there's probably no point." Bluekit shrugged. "never mind. Might as well stay."

((I think there's a River on The Thunder/Wind border.

I think i mentioned somewhere that this is the lake territory))

"Almost ready," he said, "I just need to decide who to bring."

Hailfrost, Suntail, Snowfoot, Bluebird, Rowanpelt, Cloudwhisker, Crowpelt, and Scartail. That should be enough

((Yes I know, but according to the books, the only river near ThunderClan camp is the one leading to the Moonpool.))

Tanglekit tilted his head. "Maybwe you cwould get one owf thwee oldwer cat's to go with you," he mewed. Shaking his head, he padded around the elder of the two. "Now if ywu down't mwind, I'm going to the Fresh-kwill pile," he remarked.

((Yes, the w's were intentional, unless you reckon a two moon old kit can talk properly.))

The two sisters ((I'm lazy shut up)) padded into the stone hollow and Kestrelfeather nodded to Stormfeather.
"Well, I should go find Maplepaw," she said uncertainly. "Maybe we could go to the Gathering?" Stormfeather tilted her head, and flicked her tail.
"I'll ask Mudstar," she assured her. "Now, go find Maplepaw before I put you on apprentice duties!" Kestrelfeather purred, and padded to the apprentice den.
"Maplepaw? Are you there?"

Nettleflight had been resting on his back. His green eyes were closed as he thought about the rest of the Clan. How were the queens? Who would be in the dawn patrol? To tell the truth, he was a bit tired, but he wanted to go anyway. Would the others think he was biased towards himself? Nah. Almost anyone could go on the patrol. He had already thought it up in a minute: Him, Brambleshadow and Cinderfrost would be the members. No apprentice was available except Swallowpaw, who was probably still asleep. But if Swallowpaw wanted to come, he would... he decided to add him.

Nettleflight decided that he should probably get up now, even if it wasn't dawn yet. He liked waking up early when he could without being too tired. Opening his jaws in a silent yawn, he rolled over onto his front and stood up. After a short stretch, he padded out in the clearing and sat down until Owlstar gave him consent for announcing the members of the patrol.

((Who mentors Swallowpaw again? Was it Brambleshadow?))

Swallowpaw had almost nothing to think about before he got up. Except, maybe what training would be like today.

((@EeveeSkitty: Just a heads-up, Rainpaw's a "he."))

Tonight's the Gathering! Rainpaw suddenly got up from the apprentices' den. He saw his mentor, Goldenfeather, strolling toward him, and quickly sprinted over.

"Goldenfeather! Goldenfeather! Can I go to the Gathering? Please please PLEASE?!" begged Rainpaw. "Look, Goldenfeather! I'll show all the other apprentices that I'm the best!"

Rainpaw, eager to show off to his mentor, spotted a tiny mouse. He leaped at it with a loud meow, but tripped over his paws and stumbled into the fresh-kill pile, knocking everything aside.

'OK Rainpaw, you can go' Goldenfeather meowed kindly, picking up the fresh kill and placing it in the pile again. 'Remember everything I told you'

Goldenstar was strolling towards the fresh kill pile, a little hungry. Picking out a small squirrel she started eating. 'Hello Goldenfeather, and Hello Rainpaw' she meowed.

'Hello sis' Goldenfeather meowed.

((Hmm, we don't have any other apprentices in RiverClan... can I make another character for myself? If so, here's the details.

Name: Silverpaw
Age (In Moons): 8 Moons
Gender: Female
Clan: RiverClan
Rank: Apprentice
Personality: Silverpaw is Rainpaw's best friend. Like him, she's very energetic and curious. Fortunately, she's more logical and reasonable than him, and doesn't go rushing off whenever something exciting happens. She likes to go hunting, but doesn't like patrolling or serving the Elders, as she thinks they're boring. But she doesn't mind it and does it without complaints. She has a kind and caring side, and she loves to help other cats... except the Elders.
Appearance: Silverpaw is a light grey cat with amber eyes. She has darker stripes here and there, and her tail is a very dark grey, but not quite black.
History: Silverpaw is a normal Clan cat. She doesn't know of her best friend's rogue history.
Other: Ancient. She'll need a mentor, who, if I can choose, would be Icepelt. Oh, and her parts will be in this colour, while Rainpaw's will be in this colour.))

"REALLY?! Thanks, Goldenfeather!" Rainpaw exclaimed. He grabbed a mouse and promptly starting muching on it vigorously.

"Hi Golgensgah," Rainpaw said through his mouse, running toward the apprentices' den.

((if I can't have a second character, ignore everything here down))

Rainpaw spotted his best friend, Silverpaw, and sat down next to her. "Guess what, Silverpaw! Goldenfeather said I could go to the Gathering!"

"Really? Lucky..." she muttered. "Icepelt says I'm not ready yet."

"Don't worry! When I come back, I'll tell you everything that happened!" Rainpaw assured.

'Hey sis, can you tell me what the gathering will be about?' Goldenfeather asked.

'No, Goldenfeather I may not. You will have to wait like the other Warriors' Goldenstar answered 'I can't tell you just because you're my sister'

'Fine fine...' Goldenfeather meowed.

It was starting to get dark and the gathering was going to be soon.

Stormfeather padded up the rockfall to Mudstar's den.
"Mudstar? Muuuuudstar..." She scented the air, and paused a second. When she was leader, would she have to sit here all day? No. She'd rather be running in the woods, hunting with the rest of the Clan. Well, maybe Mudstar wasn't in here. Stormfeather leapt back down the rockfall and looked around. Ah, well, Mudstar should be around.

Kestrelfeather looked around.
"Maplepaw, are you here?" Obviously not, mousebrain, a voice sneered in her head. Shut up. Well.. Maplepaw couldn't have left the camp, maybe... the medicine cat den? Do you think Maplepaw is hurt? Kestrelfeather shook her head, in disagreement and to clear it. StarClan, no! Go away!
((What's sad is I do have these conversations with myself. =P I even named her >_O Don't judge me. =D))

back in Shadowclan territory...

hmm, I wonder when Greytail will take me out hunting again, shadepaw thought, since his mentor, Gorsepelt, got mysteriously injured, Greytail had to step in. But Greytail was the oldest warrior to not yet retire. I hope he at least lets me go on the dawn patrol tomorow, since I can't go to the gathering tonight... He heard footsteps, scented the air Greytail!
