• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

What do you call sugary, carbonated, unhealthiness?

Soft drink terms, yes?

I rarely drink fizzy drinks anymore, usually I call them by brand name but when it comes to the Pepsi/Coke family it's just "I wanna Coke." Used to be pop when I was younger.

Fizzy drink, usually. I used to say soft drink before realising that was silly because it includes anything non-alcoholic.

Ahaha, that's a point - I'll drink fizzy drinks as a mixer for alcohol, but never usually by themselves, so they're never a 'soft' drink, and it also means on the occasion I do drink coke by itself, it tastes weird because there's no vodka in it.

It's basically always pop. I... don't usually need to talk about it at all because carbonated anything just tastes revolting to me so I avoid all fizzy drinks like the plague.

Basically that. I can't stand pop, but that's because it falls under the general umbrella of carbonated drinks. Sparkling water or juice are just as unpalatable, as is champagne. Even waiting for it to go flat doesn't make it taste any better.

True, but I have alcohol maybe once, twice a month. Most fizzy-drinks drinkers have it daily, and it's worse for your teeth if you drink it while they're still growing. I wasn't, it may surprise everyone to learn, a very boozy 7-year-old.
