• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Well?

I've lost Emerald and Phantom Hourglass right now (although I'm pretty sure I've permanently lost them). So I got this idea for a thread.

When I usually find whatever it is, it's in the usual place, I just didn't look hard enough.

EDIT: I misspelled incorrectly in the poll :(

Two years later edit: I actually found both games!

I carry things aaround with me so I lose them in weird places. :/ I've found things in the fridge, in the crevices of my bunkbed, the spaces between the posts of my stairs and on the posts themselves, just to name a few.

The place where its supposed to be, but you think you know its not there because you've checked it, but it actually was there.
If that makes sense. It most fits "Where it should be. I'm unobservant."

Under my bed, the majority of the time. I blame the fact I fall alseep while doing things and then move around in my sleep, knocking it downt he side of my bed, never to be found again. Except for when I look there.

I also had a major panic when I couldn't find my room card the other week (which is very important; it's my room key, allows me to get meals, lets me get library books out and costs £20 to replace). After a few hours of turning my room upside down looking for it, my friend comes over saying "You left this in my room. You want it?". DX

Usually, where it should be, or in stupidly obvious places.

Once I lost my GameCube memory card. I spent the best part of half an hour looking for it, and just as I hit the maximum level of pissed-off-ness, I saw it on the shelf near my Wii 0.o

And on Wednesday, during my three consecutive study periods, I lost my pen six words into my Law essay. I cleared everything off the table and couldn't find it. Finally, two and a half hours later, essay finished, I went to close my folder and go back to the sixth form block. It was then that I found it hiding under the tabs on the dividers in my folder. >_<

I do that so often that it's not even funny.

It's even more annoying when it's something transparent.

It was lost because I don't remember where I left it.
:S Then I eventually look where I left it and lo!
There it is!
Where is 'where I left it' usually?

I usually find things behind or under my bed. I should probably go check there for my DS.
