• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Oh of /course/. Who doesn't know crocodiles are allergic to pie? They are deathly allergic.

Geez Prime Minister Waffles, you sure do have a really busy professional life! However do you make time to socialize with people such as myself?

    Heeey~

I'm doing okay, other than being DROWNED under the piles of schoolwork my quite evil school has decided to give me.

    How about you?
    Sorry for the lateness D:

Never read that. Early on someone recommended to me 'Psychic Vampire Codex', by Michelle Belanger. That one's really helpful as well. I might check out that other book if I can find it.
Sick people suck energy from their surroundings. It's why hospitals have the atmosphere that they have. But getting it helps them to recover faster, so I willingly give out energy when needed through the connection I have with someone else.

I'm trying to survive on ambient energy in the air, which has been discarded like dead skin cells. It's stronger in crowds, hence my tracking them down. True, I am mainly unintentional, but when I try to take intentionally from people I'm careful to take only a tiny amount, not enough to be felt. And I only do it in dire need.
I'm not actually sure. I only noticed when I started feeling really heavy and tired all the time after being cut off from other people for a while. I probably wouldn't have made the link except I decided randomly to research vampires and came across a few useful sites. For a while I wasn't sure, but eventually I got used to the idea.

It's not really that bad - except when I spend weeks cut off from other people. Aside from that, I spend a lot of time tracking down parades and walking through crowded malls. It keeps me busy at least. :)
    A believer! :D

I am one, and I'm trying to learn to be gentle and careful, especially since a simple exercise gone wrong showed me what it's like for my victims. D:
