Don't be so hard on yourself! Drawing skills are a work in progress, much like a drawing itself. If you continue to draw, you simply will get better by practice. It's happened to me! Oh, I've improved so much since I first started that art thread... oh and observing other artists' techniques, and their style, and trying to imitate the things you like about them too~ You'll be surprised at how much better you've gotten if you look at older drawings. And in the future, as well!

I didn't think mine was realism! I always thought I drew sort of cartoonish.
