• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Hi, I want to say I'm sorry if I sounded too harsh in the thread about Americans, it wasn't my intention to offend you. Though, truth be told, everyone is a bit envious of Americans because they're the most powerful nation in the world, thus the hate. I foresee the same happening to China and Chinese people in the future...

I personally don't care about the nationality of people I meet, because, well, we're all people, it's stupid to hate someone just because of their nationality. At uni I've studied with people who came from Portuguese-speaking African countries and it was a nice experience.

The people of my country aren't viewed in the best light as well - when we emigrate to Europe and the USA we face a lot of difficulties, which may have to do with race, nationality, or whatever. So it goes both ways. I have the appearance of a "caucasian" so I wouldn't have problems in a place like Europe but for a black person it might be different.

I like meeting people who are not from my country because there's an opportunity to learn from the encounter. Also, when the person is an English speaker it allows me to practise my English. :P

I hope you don't leave, it would make me feel bad... :(
If they do it, it will be full of epic amazingness and destruction.

Dragon and blazhy might not approve though. They already had their building burnt down once.
My housemate got me S3 on DVD for my birthday, so I saw it very recently. It was excellent, and I'm looking forward to seeing where they'll take it in S4. I sort of miss the old 3-housemates dynamic they had going in S1, but I lost a lot of love for Mitchell after he killed all the people, and I absolutely adore Nina <3

I enjoy recognising all the one-episode people, especially when they were in Wales, from other BBC shows. Rhys going dogging, that one will stay with me XD
    SILLY HUMAN FEMALE :P

And I enjoy the one with John and Russell, too! I've been watching Being Human recently and, oh my god, Russell Tovey is one of the most adorable people on the planet <3 I'm so excited for S2 of Sherlock, and that he'll be in it (and from Devon!) makes my day :D
That's cool. Being the referee for this battle is nerve-wracking; it would be great to kick back with some good old-fashioned smiting on the side.
I don't need to keep an eye on giratina. It is not my slave. We have a mutual understanding. It understands this is my human, and I understand that Kratos is its human, therefor I do not eat it. Besides, it can eat whatever human it wants; it has no desire for this one.
You are not part of the game, human. It is too late for you to directly aid us now.

But, indeed, those of us who do not stand in our way are allowed to go free. You may notice how you fly freely alongside the battle now, human. Nothing stops you from flying away and living life as you please, so long as you do so away from this place.

... however, while it is too late to aid us directly in battle, there are tasks which I intend to accomplish later, when I am not otherwise occupied. It would benefit me if they were completed now, and it should be well within your capabilities.

You may have noticed a network of energy shields protecting Her city. It is not impossible to destroy, but it is not something I can do outside while also being confronted by this swarm of insects. If you could sabotage the shields, so that this city would properly fall to the meteors we have summoned, then we may even make an effort to avoid your untimely death.
I protect this human. Clearly, giratina will not eat a human that is protected by me.
Glad to hear it! I'm going to school at the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee currently, but I lived in St. Paul most of my life and hope to return to the Cities eventually.
Pretty good! I've kind of been paused for a while due to Thanksgiving (yet I've still been online all the time derp), but the book is still awesome so.
