    Houndoom is my number one favourite, but Paras and Parasect are very close seconds! I think I bought them all because there was some silly competition going on in the old league where richer players would buy multiples of their favourites just to increase their numbers. I know someone bought tons of Bidoof at one point, but I can't remember who.

    Also, Paras is ridiculously cute in the animé. ;-; I remember watching that "Problem with Paras" episode as a kid and feeling super sorry for it

    I'm curious how the appearance of Spanish verb tenses correlates with their actual level of confusion-provoking-ness? (I remember you were learning Spanish on Duolingo, so)

    None yet, but there's a spot in the drawers where one or two would fit perfectly.

    (ooh, right, we could do that. I guess I was just mostly thinking that this would be a non-issue because in any case the likeliest reason why there'd be a delay is, I will be busy next thursday. if you're all that HYPE, though, you could put the threads up yourself when the day comes -- you do have access to the round's thread models after all.)

    I did not make it this far without some skeletons in the closet. And thousands of them under the rubble of cities that once were Metronome Battle arenas.

    (the HYPE to watch this round unfold is strong in me as well, but a few extra days in HYPE would be worth it to keep things fair and square within reason)

    (doubtful, as I'll likely have stuff to get up early for in the selfsame day. is there any particular need for the round to start on cue even with some unprepared contestants? if this is about someone's active squad, they can change it around now, and then change it back when the round's closer to beginning.)

    It'd definitely not be a difficult joke to understand, although it would certainly be stretched.

    You could always spend your thousands on needless duplicates of type gems and berries so you can pretend like you were rich when held item consumption was permanent.

    on the plus side, there's an achievement for adopting a Pokemon that's also had X number of previous owners! look at it this way, you're just helping the next person get that achievement!
