Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

This so beats the Stephen-playing-with-his-breasts avatar and I never thought that was possible.
Yeah, it's one of my absolute favourites; watching Stephen getting beaten up (I'm really glad we didn't actually see his character killed because my heart couldn't take it) was pretty traumatising, even if he did have fun filming it, especially since he was essentially playing himself - I don't know if Gordon was written with him in mind, but I find it hard to imagine it wasn't.

V is such a fantastic character; if nothing else, he's a really refreshing change from the irritating good-and-evil heroes and villians in modern films... and I absolutely adore Hugo Weaving's voice. Actually, pretty much all the characters in the film have fantastic speaking voices (I forget who played Sutler, but I could listen to him talk for hours).

And I adore the exploration into how a nation will give up its freedom and privacy in the name of fear; how, if a politician promises a terrified country salvation, they'll accept no matter the cost - it's fascinating historically and sociologically :)

If you can find it, the graphic novel is even better; it's a lot more subtle, and some really great scenes (my favourites being a ton of references to an Enid Blyton book I loved as a kid and the coroner-lady discussing human weakness in relation to Milgram's study of obedience to authority) didn't make it into the film.

    Glad you enjoyed it :3
No, her name is Jacqui. I need to sort that out sometime.

Of course our politicians act and look strange; They're politicians after all. With Alistair Darling, If he grew a beard, what color would it be, eh? Answer me that. Milliband's ears have a volume of measurement of their own, and Mandleson looks like a teacher we used to have who had a Hitler combover.

And Ed Ball's name isn't near as funny as Willie Stroker's.
Yup. I have Pie Rorschach as my avatar on trsrockin too, he's that awesome

It's funny in part because it's just funny, but to someone who knows the comic or the film, it's even funnier because it's almost opposite of what happened there (Rorschach being friendly with the dogs, Ozymandias saving Comedian at the end, etc)
Wow, so many people beat me to telling how awesome your icon is. xDD
    But yeah. Point proven. O:
You haven't? Oh, you must; it's an absolutely amazing film and I think you'd really like it.
I can imagine him being thrilled over the idea of being fake-beaten up, actually X3
    I was going to comment on how amazing your new avatar is, but looks like Danni beat me to it. ;_;

    Still, it's amazing.
Oh good jesus christ, your icon is the best thing I've ever seen.

(I watched V for Vendetta again yesterday and traumatised myself by seeing him get the crap beaten out of him, but this makes it all better)
