• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Wooot no votes for Drama yet :D

I chose maths, but I don't hate it, I just prefer all the others lessons in that poll.

EDIT: Oh, wait, I should have chosen 'Gym' but I didn't because we don't call it that here so I didn't notice it.

Math. Science might have been more viable if you'd specified what kind, though, because my physics homework this year has been pretty brutal.

Art.
Mostly 'cause it took so damn long, and half my stuff wasn't accepted, due to my Artist reference thingy being Giger.
Although, I can kinda see why the robotic-alien-demon-blue-thingy-wanking-on-a-toilet-though-not-really-wanking-but-whatever wasn't allowed.

Language arts. I don't have to write a twenty page essay for Math, now do I?
And philosophy confuses me.

I used to hate writing essays but now I actually miss it. I must be crazy.

Math. I hate it with several burning passions and have ever since I saw my first plus sign in preschool. I'm just so goddawful at it and really, no amount of studying, teaching, or anything of the sort could ever get me to a level above somewhat decent. I'd rather write three essays than do three word problems for homework, which pretty much, says it all.

What Arylett said. I actually don't mind Language Arts, but maths... ugh. They make me wanna smash something. I too, would write three essays rather than doing word problems. D: (Ironically, one of my best test scores was on math, though. It was multiple choice, so I must be good at guessing. xP)

Example of Word Problem:
An airplane travels north with an airspeed of 300 mph. There is a wind from the southwest at 50 mph. What is the resulting course of the plane. (magnitude and direction).
A word problem is pretty much just a math problem using real-world applications.
