• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Pfft.

There is a way to prove I'm not Mafia, though.

Leave me alive. See if the mafia kills me. If they do, then I'm fairly obviously not Mafia. If they don't, then I'd probably be Mafia.

But that won't work because the Mafia can read this thread, and they can choose not to kill you. Also, you might be MurrMurr(r), trying to make the Mafia try to kill you so you can win. By leaving you alive, we risk the fact that you might be MurrMurr(r) and go paranoid if the Mafia try to kill you, or we lose an innocent, and a rather annoying one at that.

Either way, we have less to lose if we kill you than if we let you live. Also, there's still the chance that you might be Mafia.

People pointed out my behavior earlier, but only one person chose to actually nominate me.

I nominate Full Metal Cookies.

Well, I agree that she's suspicious. But so's everyone else. And everyone else seconded the nomination, so maybe you should nominate them too, going by your current logic.

In the 2010 Mafia, I want there to be a Kam role where you have to be lynched to win.

I believe that's called MurrMurr(r).

I really should stop posting so much.

^ Yes but MurrMurr(r) has to be Mafi-attacked (sorry, bad pun) first before he can lynch-win.

^ ...That doesn't make much sense. Around half the people get culled out a la execution, and those people are the ones who are acting the most suspicious. So anyone who had that role would be ad a ridiculously unfair advantage.

Hum, where is Negrek? The two days expired this morning, didn't they?

And Kam, remember! Always look on the bright side of death~ Just before you draw your terminal breath~

I ninth or w/e the nomination of Kam.

I'm sorry, Kam, but you living is just too risky right now.

Despite me knowing the mafia will eat my soul because of this, I got regular person. *shakes fist at Negrek* Did everyone who was someone cool last year get regular this time? I'm pretty sure it's possible.

Oh really, Murr?

Clearly, you're Mafia, figuring that the public wouldn't try to eliminate you after it's I'm revealed I'm innocent. They wouldn't want to repeat this incident.

In the end, the voting was surprisingly unanimous. Hardly a soul among the trainers gathered on the beach was at all convinced of Kam's innocence; as soon as the final numbers had come in, he is seized by both arms, ready to be hustled away to the guillotine...

At which point, the trainers on the beach recognize a problem. Those of them with pokémon are reluctant to release them, after the strange and bloodthirsty way those guarding the beach were acting last night--and still are today, in fact, hemming the group in on all sides. The trainers are left with the unsettling prospect of having to kill them with their own hands or throw him to the guardian pokémon to be ripped apart and probably consumed. As a hurried discussion takes place, Kam continues to babble on about he isn't mafia, causing several in the group to suggest particularly nasty ways in which he might be deceased. In the end, though, it's clear that no one really wants to do the deed, and an unlucky executioner is chosen by a hasty drawing of straws. A forceful blow to the back of the head with a heavy stick intended for firewood is enough to do the job; the group gathers around as Kam's costume starts to fade with his death. To no one's real surprise, it is not a nefarious killer who is revealed in death, but just an ordinary trainer.

Kam is dead. He was not mafia.

Forty-eight hours for night actions.
