• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Ian stepped out of his house and into the sun, he breathed in and ran towards his boat and hopped in, everyone else had gone to the Island, why not him? Ian started the motor and cast his line, he soon caught a barred knifejar and put it in a little bag. He leaned back and heaved a great sigh as his boat puttered into the sand at the islands beach.
"No one came and told me about this?" and so he ran off towards the other villagers.
"Hey guys!"

Appearance: A green anteater with a blue shirt and pants.
Personality: He has a good sense of humor and is very optimistic.
Description of house: It's filled with random junk he finds intresting.

Jax saw another fin. She dropped her line in. A large bite was on the line.

"Guys, a little help!" she yelled.

Cyrus ran over to Jax and saw the fin circling around his line. He also noticed the obvious pressure being put on the rod. He tried to help by holding the rod steady as Jax reeled the Shark in.

Hunter looked at Jax's hammerhead and decided to see if he could catch his own. He cast out his line. In awhile he had caught two sea bass and a red snapper but no hammerhead. But a fin was coming toward his line. It was unusually large, but Hunter waited patiently. Soon, the wolf got a bite, and reeled in. It was nearly a whole minute until he pulled up a gigantic fish. It was nine feet nine inches tall, and rounded at the front but straight at the back. It had one dorsal fin and one pectoral fin, both of which were about as long as the body of the fish. "I caught an ocean sunfish!"

Croc walked to the seashore and threw his fishing line into the water. "Okay, Mother Ocean, let's see a shark!" A few minutes went by until Croc felt a sharp tug at his line.

"Come to Croc-y!" Croc exclaimed in excitement, and reeled in his catch quickly. "Oh, it's an octopus!" He quickly put his newly caught octopus into a tank, and shoved it into his pocket. "Cool, let's see what else I can find in these waters!"

"Thanks," said Hunter. Due to the magical properties of Animal Crossing, Hunter could stuff the fish into his pocket and keep it there forever without letting it die. He stood up. "What is the point of this place, anyway?"

Ian leapt up and threw his line into the water, sending it quite far. He soon caught himself a barred knifejar, a snapper, and a whole bunch of mackerals.
"Come on! Just one Dorsel fin!"
Ian threw his line out again and looked around, and then he saw it, a large dorsel fin looped around in a zig zag fashion until it was on his bobber, and then it pulled the rod out of his hands and it dragged it under.
"Hey! Gimme that back!"
Ian flailed his arms around at the slowly drifting dorsel fin and finally sat on the shore and looked out at the sea.

Xeno got off of his bed, carefully stepped around his cluttered junk, and walked down to Brewster's for a drink. He stuck his snout in the coffe, and sucked it up, and went to check out the bulletein board.
"That's, like, all my friends! It sounds like th trip of a life time! Oh, I gotta go!" He grabbed his swimming trunks and a floatie, and started swimming.

"Anybody want any specific fish for dinner?" she asked, "I'm gonna cook on the new grill I bought at Nook's yesterday.

Xeno wondered how long he'd been swimming. It was getting dark, and he started around 9:00. At least it was a good worko-

OUCH!

Did a hook just get caught on his snout?

Almond jumped around a bit. The night sky was getting darker. "Did anyone bring camping stuff, like a tent?" She shivered in the cold wind, looking up at the sky and humming a song.

"I got a couple of sleeping bas, but you could also create beds with palm fronds, they are big enough ya know."
"To start a fire you need a flint and a metal bar, scrape a bunch of dead wood and leaves around in a pile, than gie me something fluffy and burnable, than you take a match or your flint and blade, and set the fluff on fire, and soon the small fire from the fluff will burn into the other wood and leaves, and there we have a fire!"
Ian felt proud, obviosly being a boy scout helped out.
