I'm staying with my aunt who has a black lab named Jesse who is very sweet and calm in his older years. My aunt told me about how some people are think black dogs are scary and how she has a friend who is scared to death of them.

So are you frightened of them?
 
No, just big dogs. And that's only if they aren't fluffy. Nothing fluffy is scary.
So a big not fluffy black dog would be scary.


I guess I'd also be scared in the dark because I wouldn't be able to see it.
 
... Wait, do you mean stuff like Cu Sìth or just dogs that happen to be colored black?

I don't find either very scary, really. Considering the former doesn't exist and the latter are just as scary as ordinary dogs. =\
 
depends if it's one of those tards who sit there behind a huge gate and then go BARK BARK BARK AAAAAA GRRR when you walk past it.
 
This vaguely reminds me of a topic on the very first forums where someone had been told by their Christian mother that black dogs were a sign of Satan, and was then worried that their interest in Pokémon would somehow harm them (see: Houndoom, Mightyena etc). o.o

Black dogs, no problem. Huge dogs which are baring their fangs, growling in an ominous way and look poised to rip your head off... now I couldn't blame you if you found those a little intimidating.
 
I think they're fin, expect in some Mexican/South Amarican tale, a black wolf-like creature is supposed to jump out and kill you at night if you are all alone and wandering. The only thing that can stop it is it's white counterpart.
 
I think any dog is cute, to tell you the truth.

I'm not scared of them either, the worst they could do is give you rabies, but that's not that bad.
 
I've been afraid of dogs for the majority of my life, and even still today, I jump a bit when a big dog barks at me from behind a fence. Small dogs, I really don't have a problem with, in fact, I have a small dog, named Roxy. ;3
