Open +-Hell's Expedition-+

Toonga slung her Treasure Bag over her shoulder, and set off, arriving in about a minute. She passed by Duskull Bank, and decided to take out 100 Poke. That left 400 more in her account.
She walked further still, and was at Kangaskhan Storage within a few seconds.
She took all her items and looked at them.
A Red Bow, 25 Geo Pebbles, 3 Apples, 5 Oran Berries, 2 Cheri Berries, 2 Pecha Berries, a Rawst Berry, and a Reviver Seed. Four more things could fit in her bag.
She also packed a Water Sphere that her auntie Ooga had given her, from when she had been an explorer on Team Wisdom, made up of her, a Claydol with no name, and their leader, an Alakazam, named Mind. It had no use to her, but she kept it with her anyway.
She headed back to the guild, freshly stocked.

The sky was still dark as Team Starlight made their way toward the boat where Chatot would be waiting. Both members were silent and solemn. Even Serenity, who normally would be in a bit of a peppier mood, seemed more quiet than ever. Her partner, Luka, had a dull look in his crimson eyes. To him, the Treasure Bag that hung over her shoulder felt as if it were filled with lead (though it was full of useful items they would be needing on this journey...).

"We're here," Serenity reported as the two approached the group that had formed around Chatot.

Jewel darted over to the group, her pudgy orange body moving surprisingly fast. A scarf just a tick lighter than her soft fur fluttered as she ran, but came to rest on her shoulder when she stopped a few feet before running into Chatot. She adjusted the scarf, and a curled lock of long fur fell over her eye, which she brushed away.

"Team Glitter reporting for duty, sir." She said, nodding.

As she settled into a comfortable position, her tail curled behind her, Jinkosen the Empoleon came strolling over slowly, a brown leather bag with a shimmering Diamond badge pinned in the flap that covered the contents slung around his shoulders. He stopped next to Jewel and said nothing.

The two were an imposing pair, despite Jewel's relatively small size and Jinkosen's shyness, as they were one of the elite Rescue Teams.

"WAAAAKE UPPP!!!"

Atnura stirred from her little bed of hay as her sensitive ears were assaulted by the crude course voice. Argh, Loudred. Was it his job to go and wake up every single person in the guild?

...Just a little bit longer.

"DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME? I SAID WAAAAKE UUUUP!"

"I heard you, I heard you! I'm going... grumble..." This was one of the things that she passionately lothed about being in the guild, waking up at ridiculously early times. She was a Dark-type, for Pete's sake! And many Dark-types were nocturnal. Night was when she was most active. But pfft, none of those other guild members would understand, there weren't many other Dark-types.

Come on... come on... Let's go body... She lifted herself with effort from the warm and comfortable bed, still mumbling angrily under her breath.

So today was finally the day of that important mission Chatot had been talking about... The sole member of Team Arkra grabbed her bag, hoisting the strap on her body. She was glad she had prepared herself yesterday for the exploration. Oh... but wait... there was one thing missing...

She dug under her hay bed and found it - her special necklace. Using her paws, she managed to slip her head into the golden loop. The ruby hung brilliantly from it.

"I guess that's everything...."

The Poochyena gave her room a fleeting glance, then turned her back on it and ran to the place were Chatot had told them he had been waiting. Hopefully, she wasn't too late! What if they had already left without her?

Up ahead there was a crowd. Phew, they hadn't left yet....

"I-i'm h-here." She said, panting laboriously.

"I think almost everyone is here..." said Ice King thoughtfully. "Maybe we're missing a Pokémon or two?" Isabelle nodded in acknowledgment. "I think we might be missing someone."

"Well," Chatot said, "just to remind you all, Loudred, Corphish, Sunflora, Croagunk, Diglett, Dugtrio, and Bidoof will be staying behind. Chimecho has agreed to come with us." As he said this, Chimecho floated up next to Chatot. "She'll be second in command for this expedition."

"Fine by me," said Isabelle. She closed her eyes slightly and raised a front paw for no apparent reason.
"Me too," answered Ice King, looking down at Isabelle without moving. His gaze soon flicked back to Chatot.

"That would be us..."

a shadow falls over Isabelle in the shape of a Snorlax. The shadow then moves away from her and walks over to Chatot.

"Torie and Flare, reporting in"

Flare walks over as well, a dark blue bag hanging off of his shoulder. He nods at Chatot then looks around at the others.

"..there are...quite a few here, it seems"

Torie glances around as well, a look of indiffecence on her face.

"Seems so...good number though"

She then spots Jewel and smiles a bit, dispite the gloomy feeling in her heart. She walks over to the Raichu and sits next to her, careful not sit on her.

"...Hey.."

Flare sees Jinko, walksing over to him with a sad smile.

"Hello...been awhile since we last saw each other..."

A shadow loomed over Isabelle. The Quilava looked up. She squeaked, but realised it was only Torie. "Oh... hi, Torie. You scared me." Isabelle practically sweatdropped.

Munchy smiles, waving at the newcomer Snorlax.
Feather announced, "Team Cookie! Check!" She raised a hand to her forehead as if saluting.
Meanwhile, Munchy was thinking of a giant cinnamon cookie as large as himself. He could almost taste the spice and feel the soft bread of the cookie...
"Mmm..."
Feather looked at him, lowered her hand, and giggled. "Come on, pay attention."

At the mention of a cookie, Toonga's tongue reached out and licked Feather. She almost gobbled her down, only stopping when she realized the taste wasn't good.
She started following Chatot on her short, stubby legs. The weight of the bag did not help.

Torie chuckles as she waves back to Isabelle

"Sorry to scare you like that...but I do wonder how I can sneak up on anyone in this form"

She gets back to her feet to load onto the boat, then hears someone announce their team. She smiles yet again.

"Team Dreamscape, here and ready to serve. Flare! Boat!"

Flare gets to his feet and runs over to her, chuckling a bit.

"Yes Ma'am, Torie, Sir!"

He slips past her onto the boat, avoiding the fist to his head.

It was Ice King's turn to nod. "Team Ashen: present!" he said. "Let's check the bag," interrupted Isabelle. She opened Team Ashen's treasure bag. "Let's see... our ranking badge, thirty Iron Thorns, four apples, a Blue Gummi--just for you, Ice King--two Reviver Seeds, a Max Elixir, an Escape Orb, two Foe-Seal orbs and a Rollcall orb, plus one Quila-Hair and Empol-Seal. We're set," she confirmed, and stepped forward with Ice King. "Do we get on the boat now?" asked the Empoleon.
"Just a minute," said Isabelle. She took the Treasure Bag and wandered out of sight.
Less than a minute later, the Quilava came back. "What'd you do?" queried Ice King.
"Just put all 100 Poke in Duskull Bank," she said, dropping the bag at her partner's feet. "Just in case we faint or something." Ice King picked up the bag and slung it over his shoulder.
Seeing that everyone else is getting on the boat, Team Ashen wandered on. "Ready for departure," stated Isabelle.

((Actually, Munchy waved at her.))
Feather felt slobber being placed all over her. She turned to see a Lickitung. "Please, don't do that." She breathed fire on herself, burning the drool away while leaving her feathers apparently untouched.
Munchy bit onto her hand.
"Ow!" Feather cried. She removed his mouth from her claws. "Are you thinking of a snickerdoodle again?"
Munchy nodded with a mischievous grin on his face. Then his face grew surprised. "Wait! I forgot something!" He rushed over to storage and came back with a blue charm.
Feather nodded, placing it safely in the bag.

Atnura stepped carefully onto the boat, fighting to keep her fit of giggles to herself as she watched a Lickitung lick the Blaziken. This certainly seemed like an interesting bunch.

"Boatward ho!" Jewel chirped after waving to Torie, and weaved between the others and onto the boat. Jinkosen sighed and followed her, having a bit more trouble getting around the others.

As he walked, he did what he'd seen others doing - check the bag. He flipped the soft leather bag open, careful his sharp claws didn't puncture it.

A few Apples, Oran Berries, three Max Elixers, and Escape Orb... Something glittered at him from the bottom of the bag and he pulled it out. Oh... Just Jewel's Friend Bow. He clipped it onto one of his horns, where it fluttered gently in a slight breeze.

"Hey Ice King, your gold is really looking good today," commented Isabelle. She froze.
"Why, thanks. What's the matter."
Without waiting for an answer, the Quilava sprinted off the boat and out of sight. She came back a couple of seconds later with a shiny object in her mouth. It looked rare, and it sparkled with a golden tint. "Thm Gmdn Mmph," mumbled Isabelle, and dropped the item.
"What did you say?" asked Ice King. The shine from the item caught his eye, and he picked it up. "Oh. Our Golden Mask. Thanks for remembering, Isabelle."
"Don't mention it," replied the Quilava, and walked somewhere else.
I remember where we got this. My mother passed it onto me when she died.... He fit it on his face. She said I look as royal as Cresselia... He sighed.
