D/P/Pt How can I get a Feebas? Please Help!

I've tried searching in the lake pond thing inside Mt Coronet - surfing and fishing - but Feebas doesn't show up. I've got Pearl if that's an issue. Is there anywhere else i can get it?
 
It's just there in a few certain squares that might change daily. Keep fishing. Try about three times with whatever rod for each square.
 
I dont think there is a super rod in D/P. which sucks! I shall kill Nintendo if they don't put a super rod in Platinum or the 5th gen.!
 
i'm sorry too, because it is you who has posted the r/s/e way to catch feebas when this is d/p we are talking about, there isn't a dewford town as far as i'm concerned in sinnoh

Yeah, but if I remember correctly, the tiles changed whenever your trendy changes, not just daily.

And he/she/it never said anything about Dewford.
 
No, in RSE, it only changes when you change the trendy phrase.

DPPt has the four? squares change daily, but there're fewer possible squares.
 
I thought that the trendy phrase didn't affect the Feebas tiles in R/S/E. Isn't that just a rumor?

As everyone else said, go into the foggy part on Mt. Coronet on the way to Snowpoint City and try fishing two or three times on every tile of water.

No, changing the trendy phrase does randomise the tiles in which Feebas can be found. It is false that a certain phrase will always give the same tiles.
 
Old rod would actually be the best. I think you'd find slightly more Feebas because the other rods catch other Pokemon as well. Old rods only catch Feebas and Magikarp. Fish in every square ONCE. There is a small chance you'll miss it but it's better off to just go once, it's frustating enough already. And every square means EVERY SQUARE. Oh, and it's the one you're fishing in not the one you're on.

If it's a Feebas square, there's a 50% chance of finding a Feebas. It's hard to find the square with the Feebas, but it's easy to find Feebas once you're trying the right square.
 
Doesn't have to be a Super Rod.

It's just in four random water squares in Mount Coronet with a 50% appearance rate (regardless of rod) that change each day.
