Name of Character: "Moon"

Real name: Serena Lunos

Biography of Human Character:

Serena was born in a family that never had problems with money, providing all the best resources for her future. Her was was from a long line of Mayors in the city they lived in and hoped that his daughter would take the reigns when it was time for him to step down from his office. After a long and hard battle with her, they both came to a agreement in the end. She can practice her little drawing hobby as long as she would work for him as his assistant. He hoped by her being close, she'd learn to love the job of Mayor.

After years in Art schools, Serena has landed herself a job as a comic creator while working for her Father, and now her older Brother who took over after her Father. Her comics vary from sweet romances of foreign lands to the dark underbelly of the world's bloody side. The main comic that she is well known for is a super hero comic that dictates the adventures of a half-masked hero that fights crime under the moon's light, while being a average working girl in a fast paced job as the assistant to the Mayor.

None is the wiser that the hero in her comics is indeed herself as 'Moon'.

She decided to take up the role as a hero because she feels she can deal with these..."problems" better than the system can.

Physical/Emotional description of Human Character, including their costume:

Serena is a very intelligent young woman under a big, squishy exterior. She likes to paint and write stories in her spare time, creating worlds beyond the imagination in her many works. She is very sweet and has the ability to make anyone feel right at home in the waiting room with her sweet humor.

She has long brown hair with shocking blue bangs and dark brown eyes flecked with green specks at the corners. She stands at 5'7'' and wears a simple work shirt and black dress pants, tying her hair back in a pony when on the job. She wears a bracelet with blue stones on her left right, and a pair of simple hoop earrings.

When she is 'Moon', She acts with a sense of justice. She is one to knock her foe prone and leave them tied up with a pink bow for the police to deal with. But when the foe is a Pokemon, she uses her skills to render the Pokemon unconscious and will...'transport' the Pokemon to a new location so it can't cause anymore harm to the fair people of the city.

She wears a white "dress". She wears a white band of cloth over her bust, while the rest of the dress is a slit of white fabric that splits under her bust, revealing her belly and white tights. On her feet she wears ivory white ballet shoes. On her arms she wears long green gloves that reach above her elbows. She also wears a half mask that looks like a crescent moon with a blue marking under her masked eye.

Pokemon & Bio’s for the Pokemon:

[Ming] Gardevoir (f)

Ming is a very wise and deadly Gardevoir. She acts sweet and calm on the outside, while a raging storm dwells within. When angered, she will crush the minds of those that angered her enough. When she is in a more calm state, she will chat with Serena on her time off from work and discuss comic ideas.

[Halan] Lucario (m)

[Rinna] Unbreon (f)

*whistle* Wow, more people are interested than I thought. I'll expand the avaliable spots. First off, Full Metal Cookies is accepted, and that makes 3 avaliable spots. Anyone interested in a spot after those are filled, keep an eye out. Unlike 'After the End', I don't have a clear end for this RP in mind, so in theory, there is ALWAYS space for more people.

EDIT: Moon-Panther accepted.
2 spots left again. They'll go fast. Also, because of the size of this Roleplay, I'm going to be really strict about postings. Try to be daily at the least. If not, I'll ask you to leave. If for whatever reason, that becomes impossible, PM me, and you can keep he spot, no problem.

Name of Character(This can be their Alter-ego’s name, or their Secret Identity):
NightDragon, the Dragon stalker, and Reptialian knight, DragonClaw.

Real name: Daniel DragonDew(DDD(oh the irony it sounds like Dedede))

Biography of Human Character:

When Daniel was 5, he got his first two pokemon, a gible and Turtwig. He lived in a not-so rich family, and had, as a matter of fact, to work too. As time passed, Daniel slowly started bonding with his pokemon, an started understanding them, almost as good as one could understand another human. When he was 10, his parents got a better job, meaning they moved to a better house, one in which the floor didnt crumble, the walls weren't about to collapse when it rains a little, and the chairs werent made of wooden planks. At that point, Daniel had no friends expect the Gible and Turtwig, meaning they were his best friends. A year later, Daniel's parents sent him to school, something Daniel wasn't used to. He always wanted to take his pokemon to school, something his parents wold never allow him. He started 'smuggling' his pokemon into school, and got caught multiple times. However, depsie this fact, he kept on bringing them. It seemed that whenever they were near him, he would concentrate on learning, but when they weren't, he was simply depressed, not doing anything but be sad. After another year, when he was 12, he found a way to smuggle his pokemon into school without anyone noticing. Since they were growign slowly, and never fought, they were still unevolved. As timed passed, Daniel decided to take his pokemon to a nearby park often, training on wild pokemon that were willing to fight. Finally, Gible evolved, becoming a Gabite. It became hard to bring thim to school, so Daniel took only Turtwig with him. A few months later Turtwig evolved too. Daniel stopped taking his pokemon to school, but isntead played with them whenever he came back. When he was 16, Gabite evolved again, becoming a Garchomp, while Grotle told Daniel he didnt want to evolve. By that time, he has caught a few rare but not very useful(for him) pokemon, exchanging them and finally ending with an aerodactyl, a dragonair, and a charmeleon.
When he was 18, he started working as a cook, using the help of his charmeleon and dragonair. When he was 20, the 'link suits' were ceated. At first, he didnt care about it. He lived with his parents(still), his charizard, aerodactyl, dragonite(evolved), Garchomp and Grotle. However, a few weeks later, he noticed pokemon battles became hard- people used these strange suits just ot win in pokemon matches. That night, a few thieves entered his house, robbing almost everything they had and stealign his dragonite. Angered, he decided that he had to stop them- but how? He decided that he had to get one of these stupid suits. He bought one, and put it on, and immidiatly(fail) put it on, bonding with his charizard, suddenly understanding him and being able ot use his abillities. It was only a matter of time before he caught the thieves, (and the rest is yadda yadda).

Physical/Emotional description of Human Character, including their costume(This may also be a picture with a small write-up, if you want):

When daniel was five, he had short, brown hair, and was a little pale. He was pretty much short, and always wore brown clothes. When he was 12, he liked to wear white shirts and one colour pants, and became a little tan. When he was 20(now his age), he became even more tan, although not that much, and his hair became darker, now being dark brown. He is 1.80 meter tall, and wieghts 120 pounds. He wears short sleeved shirts, usually white, and long running pants. His costume is red, and is based on charizard. It has two bat wings on its back, and icludes a helmet in charizard form. The 'pants' part has the normal charizard colour, and has spikes on it. It covers pretty much all of Daniel body, leaving only his face free so he can breath and see. There are two flame generators in his gloves, which allow him to fire, well, fire. (personality) Daniel is a shy guy, and likes to stay away from toher people. However, when he notices somenoe has a dragon pokemon, he charges towards that certain someone and asks them if he can take it or at least lend it. He gets angered when someone swears, or says asty things about his pokemon, but expect that, he is generally silent.

Pokemon (At least one is required, the Pokemon you have formed your link with) & Bio’s for the Pokemon:

Garchomp, male, called Scazzer, is Daniel's first teammate, and, although not the strongest, the one with the most brain, although he shares this attribute with Lars.
Grotle, male, called Lars, is quite strong, just as much as Scazzer is. However, he denied evolution, saying he is already slow enough in this form.
Dragonite, Male, called Dusk, is nice and silent, but becomes agressive when Dainel does.
Tends to get a crush on female dragons/lizards/reptilians.
Charizard, Male, called flash or thunder, Daniel's strongest temaMate and the one he si bonded to. He is extremly agressive at times, but is nice to fellow dragons if they aren't hostile.
Aerodactyl, Female, called Stona, is arrogant, and somewhat a snob.

Not accepted, I'm sorry. It's a little...I'm looking for creativity, for ideas i didn't expect to be submitted. And that's not quite right.

IMPORTANT: To anyone still seeking a spot I'll let all those who reserved post an application, and accept the best ones. Sorry to get all 'restrictive', But I honestly did NOT expect such a huge turnout.

Name of Character
Sometimes, she is called Dynamo.

Real name
Markha Allin

Biography of Human Character
Markha originally lived in Fuchsia City in Kanto, near the Safari Zone. Due to this, she gained a high interest in studying various wild Pokémon early on in her life, and often drew or wrote about them. Her curiosity was piqued by the large and rare Kangaskhan, said to roam only the remote parts of the Safari Zone. She sometimes explored what free space there was around her house, although she wasn't allowed to go into certain sections of the Safari Zone because she wasn't a trainer. Still, she spent what time she could catching glimpses of Pokémon on the edges of the Zone, and often sketched Nidoran. Just after she became a Trainer, she was able to glimpse a Tauros, but didn't catch it because her respect for rare, wild Pokémon was great.

When she found out about the Link-Suit, she became immediately interested. And that was only intensified by the knowledge that crimes were everywhere, taking advantage of these Link-Suits. When Markha was finally old enough, she joined the police force to fight these criminals. That was when she actually went into the deep areas of the Safari Zone for the first time.

During her "adventure" in the Safari Zone, she encountered a Kangaskhan. Treating it respectfully, she decided she shouldn't bother the Kangaskhan, but somehow, Markha bonded with the Kangaskhan. Since then, a few years ago, Markha has fought alongside her partner, effectively collaborating. Of course, Markha still sometimes stops to sketch things.

She decided to stay in Orchard after obtaining her partner due to Orchard having a stronger police force than Kanto. After moving to Orchard, Markha grew comfortable living alone there. Now 19, she lives in an average house in the suburbs, but doesn’t hesitate to spring into action when she’s needed.

Physical/Emotional description of Human Character, including their costume

Markha's most noticeable trait is that she is greatly respectful of all Pokémon. She tries her best not to harm them, even environmentally. Of course, it can't be completely avoided, but Markha was a supporter of an environmental club in the past, which gave her good knowledge on things like how to save energy. Even though she normally has a gentle, calm nature, she can immediately turn on someone if they manage to anger her. Emotionally sensitive, it can be hard to maintain a friendship with her, so Markha often feels alone, with only her Kangaskhan partner to comfort her. Markha is also very intelligent, although sometimes she can be rash and doesn't think before she acts. She often says what's on her mind at the moment, and can get in an awkward situation if she can't support her thoughts. But this comes in handy when her group is out of ideas and they need a strategy to get through something. Sometimes, Markha is careless, especially when she's in a hurry, but when she's careful, she can actually accomplish things a lot faster. Markha is usually very brave, so when she's feeling timid and unsure of herself, you know something's troubling her.

Markha stands at around five and a half feet tall. Her long, golden brown hair often looks messy due to the lack of decent brushing. Her eyes are bright green, often either illuminated with thought and excitement or darkened by concern or grief. Overall, Markha is slim for her height. Her Link-Suit is colored like Kangaskhan's skin, also with the same patterns. The costume also gives her spines on her back like Kangaskhan's. Markha wears special gloves and boots with white claws on them, that are also toughened so that she doesn't hurt her hands and feet when she punches or kicks. She appears muscular due to the connection with Kangaskhan, and is physically very powerful. She has Kangaskhan "ears" as well, with a hood that goes over her head and has a black spot in the middle to represent the armored section on Kangaskhan's head.

Pokemon & Bio’s for the Pokemon:

Markha's partner, Kangaskhan, was obtained on Markha's first journey into the depths of the Safari Zone. The Kangaskhan's name is Fireclaw, because of her fiery attitude and blazing determination. She doesn't actually know Fire Punch, but her name does confuse some people. Fireclaw never runs from a fight, although unlike most Kangaskhan, she lacks a baby in her belly pouch.

Fireclaw has been fighting alongside Markha in the police force for only 4 years, although they have quite a good record of criminals taken down. Fireclaw often uses fighting as a first resort, but will follow Markha's instructions willfully. She is very strongly loyal to Markha and the rest of the police force, and wouldn't betray them if a Weavile were holding its claws to her throat.

Well, that opens a spot up for me, kinda? I'll keep up, I promise~

Name of Character: Azure Wings
Real name: Cielita Leaboum (Ciel)

Biography of Human Character:

Ciel could be described as a typical middle-class teenager, though she's actually not. She's actually had a few run-ins with some people with link-suits, though not of the friendly nature; Ciel makes her money by stealing and robbing small stores. She's lived in a group home after running away from her parents, and ran away again, picking up a few empty Pokeballs from a Pokemart and eventually training up a few Pokemon.

Ciel once broke into a large mansion with a group of 'friends', and found a link-suit in the master bedroom's closet. Having heard about the link-suits, she took it and ran, not bothering to use the door, but instead climbing out the window and running. Later, Ciel used the link-suit on her prize shiny Swellow (though the suit itself isn't shiny) , and used the link-suit to steal even more easily. Now, Ciel steals when she can, avoiding the other link-suit users who try to stop her, and hiring to people who want jobs done.

Physical/Emotional description of Human Character, including their costume:

Ciel is a carefree, bitter person, from living on her own since.. forever, it seems. She's pretty irresponsible, and doesn't care for much except excitement. If she had a choice, Ciel wouldn't be robbing people, and instead work as a skydiving instructor or something awesome like that. The only reason she does is since she needs the money, and well, for the thrill. She's not afraid to hurt people, and actually might unintentionally. Ciel's outlook for life is to think of herself and her Pokemon first, while leaving a wake of destruction behind at the same time. The more well known she is, the more of a challenge she has.

In public, Ciel is the older teenager hanging around on the street corner wearing ragged clothes and seeming to be stoned on something all the time. Ciel wears a ragged, patchy black sweater over a blue faded shirt and carries a plain black backpack. At her side are her two Pokeballs, and cargo pants packed with a bunch of useless things. Ciel herself is nineteen years old, and white. Her hair has quickly fading blue streaks, but otherwise is dark brown. Ciel's front tooth is chipped, and she has various cuts from shattered windows. In one of her pockets, at all times, is a large hunting knife, invisible in her baggy cargo pants. Her link-suit, however, is kept in way better condition than her clothes.

In costume, Ciel appears to be wearing an azure and white jumpsuit, with a red check over her breasts. A kind of pointed mask rests over her head, in the shape of a Swellow's head-feathers and beak. Her feet are covered up to her knees in red boots with 'claws', and in her hands are painted black climbing spikes and bronze knuckles. The most prominent feature of Ciel's link-suit are the white and blue wings extending from her shoulder blades, and the fact that together, Ciel's wingspan is twice her height. Of course, Ciel can control the wings with a thought, and fly. Like banners, just where her spine ends are two streamers, like tails.

Pokemon & Bios for the Pokemon:

Hunger, Swellow, Female.
Ciel's first caught Pokemon, Hunger has been with Ciel her entire life, always with her on little missions for money and the thrill. Hunger was caught as a very, very young Taillow, and doesn't know about the outside world, except for her world with Ciel.

Blit, Mightyena, Male.
Blit was Ciel's second caught Pokemon, always aiding in escapes and retreats, sometimes helping to hold off pursuers, sometimes distracting them. Blit always finds his way back to Ciel, in any case.

Those are two great applications, filling up the spots. I'll make my first post tommorow morning, starting the RP then.(Just because I just finished a 9 hour shift at work, and don't have any energy left tonight.)

To those who wanted a spot, but couldn't get in, keep an eye out or when they become avaliable.

See you all tommorow!

Aw man, you closed it? But you promised you'd let everyone who reserved post an application... I worked so hard on it, but I have RL work, you know? I'm still going to post my application anyway, since it would be a shame to let it go to waste.

Also, I had been talking with FMC for the last day about becoming her sidekick. She really liked that idea and wanted me to join. I thought I'd just wait until I had my application right, but now I find out I should have just posted whatever I had faster?

Name of Character: Dragonfly

Real name: Jacob Miller

Biography of Human Character:
Jacob is only 12 years old. His parents both worked as top-level prosecutors for the city, before forming their own legal firm. They made a strong living in the field, and their millions made and invested over decades afforded them a large mansion on the edge of the city. However, due to almost always being busy with work and work-related projects, Mr. and Mrs. Miller were rarely home. They did hire a Nanny/Housekeeper, Ms. Juarez, to help take care of the home and their son, but she usually was rather distant and somewhat strict toward little Jacob. Instead, the young boy bonded with their pet Trapinch, named Kali, bought specifically to be able to live and grow up with him.

About two years ago, Jacob's Trapinch, Kali, who had already evolved once, to Vibrava, finally evolved again. As the Link-suits were just beginning to come out, and seeing how strong the bond was between Jacob and his now Flygon, his parents bought one of the earliest versions of the Link-suit, in order to let the two of them do more together and understand each other more easily. It was an overwhelming success, and Jacob was thrilled. He would spend just about every minute he could, outside of schoolwork and food, in his suit, and would often go flying out through the park with Kali, experiencing a level of freedom he couldn't before. The two of them trained and played together every day.

But then, just a few months ago, tragedy struck. A criminal that the Millers had helped put away a decade ago, with connections to an underground crime ring, had been let out of prison on parole, but the very first thing he did was seek out revenge. Hiding out near their property, he and a group of thugs waited for Jacob's parents to arrive home one night, and shot them several times through the car windows as they were entering their driveway. Both were killed instantly. Ms. Juarez, who had stepped out to greet the Millers, screamed when she saw this, but this only alerted the thugs, and they then turned their guns on her. Jacob arrived back minutes later, flying in his Link-Suit, just in time to see the thugs attempting to remove his parents' bodies from the crime scene. All he and Kali could do at the time, though is keep flying, away from home, scared that they would come searching for him next.

Eventually, Jacob and Kali landed on the doorstep of a family friend, and another district attorney, Kay Baker. She took the two of them in and, seeing the despair and anguish in Jake's eyes, decided to let him in on her secret... He became her sidekick, fighting crime alongside her, with the help of the Link-Suits.

Physical/Emotional description of human Character, including their costume:
Jacob stands normally about 4'3" tall, with moderately long, straight blond hair, tied back in a braid. He's rather scrawny, actually, having yet to enter puberty. He has bright, large blue eyes, and thick, pronounced eyebrows. When he wears his suit, he has a large, green helmet, complete with red, split goggles, able to bend light through lenses so that he can see nearly everywhere at once. It also has a pair of darker green horns/antennae, pointing back from the top of the helmet. The rest of the suit is designed like a suit of armor, but internally powered to enhance his motions, as otherwise he'd hardly be able to even move in it. There's two layers, an underneath layer of spandex, lime green colored, and then a heavier, armor layer, with a chestplate, including wings on the back, connected to a tail and thighpads, by a sturdy but flexible 'backbone'. The wings allow him to be able to fly, and the tail automatically helps keep him stable during flight. The suit has similar dark spots and stripes as a normal Flygon, and the usual red outlines on the wings and on the end of the tail. The suit also contains a pair of heavy clawed gloves, as well as shoes with dark-green soles.

Jacob used to be a quiet, introverted kid, who liked spending time by himself or with his Flygon. However, that all changed when his parents were killed. He became rather unstable and distraught, blaming himself for just watching and being too scared to do anything about it. He feels now that Kali is the only real family he has left, and often wishes he really was a Flygon, just like her. He seeks revenge on the criminals who killed his parents, but is still too young and naive to know how to go about it without getting himself in more trouble.

Pokemon: Flygon: Kali ♀

Bio’s for the Pokemon:
When Jacob was born, his parents decided they wanted to also get a Pokemon that could grow with him and that he could bond with. They never had been Pokemon trainers themselves, so they had no idea what would make a good pet. They wanted something that wouldn't be too difficult to take care of, due to their busy schedule, but they also didn't want something that would just roll over and die while Jacob was still young, so it also had to be rather long-lived. After some research and recommendations, they brought home a two-week old Trapinch, coincidentally when baby Jacob himself was two weeks old. Kali proved herself to be very smart and curious, as well as quite playful and friendly, and the two babies - human and Pokemon - seemed to hit it off from the start. As Kali grew older, she always seemed to think of herself as just another member of the family, and often became an older sister figure for Jacob. She'd do anything to protect him, and cared deeply for him throughout her life. When Jake obtained his Link-suit from his parents, the bond between the two of them only seemed to grow. Now, not only could they live together as humans, but also as Flygons... at least to an extent.

Wow. I like that alot. Okay, always room for one more!

Beginning now, anything that is not relating to the roleplay must be in brackets, and clearly marked as Out Of Context.
________________________________

Rune awoke, and moaned. These late nights were going to kill him with sleep deprivation. He had a day job, afterall, and it was just as stressful as his... alternative pursuits. Getting up, and throwing on some clothes over the bullet proof vest. He didn't bother combing his hair, bushing his teeth or anything else. He went to his desk, and in the barely lit room, looked over the files he had left out the previous day. 5 unsolved cases, all without any sign of entry, 3 resulted in a murder, 2 in stolen property, most importantly, an entire CASE of link-suits.
"Ugh.... These cases are definitly connected...but..how?"
A loud buzzing filled the room, and from the kitchen, entered Scyther.
"Obvious, isn't it? Ghost Pokemon, possible its a costumed criminal. Late nights are taking away your mind Rune."
"Well, what do you want from me? I can't stop doing detective-work, it's what buys our food-"
"You haven't been shopping in 3 weeks. The only thing left in the kitchen in a box of instant noodles."

With no other choice but to wait for night, Rune went back to bed. When he woke up next, he went to his closet, opened the drawer, and there, sitting, was a green orb. His suit. It had taken him 3 months pay, and calling in almost every favour he had left to get it. He grabbed the ball, which glowed, and quickly surrounded him, and became the costume of Buzzcut. The sensation, had Rune not. been used to it, was overwhelming. Not only did he become stronger, more aware, he could also feel Scyther. He knew what Scyther knew, almost as if he was in two places at once. He left the apartment.

2 hours later, it happened. From the rooftop of a nearby building, Buzzcut saw the black shape move through two buildings. He nodded to Scyther on the building across the street. They jumped from building to building, barely keeping up, as it was much easier to go through buildings than around them. Untill finally, the shape vanished into a warehouse.
"Got you."
They acted quickly. Within 3 seconds, they were inside, and the shape was visible. Buzzcut called out to the criminal.
"Give up now, and we'll leave you to the police, resist, and-"
A ball of dark sparling energy came out from the darkness. Scyther, from another view-point saw the attack, and thanks to their link, Rune was able to avoid it, and Scyther used the pause to attack the shape. As soon as he recovered from an attack fom Scyther, Buzzcut would attack. It was a dance of flashing blades, untill the criminal was tied up.
"What's the point of all these crimes, murderer?"
"I...I DON'T know! I get my targets by mail...Nobody was supposed to die(Scyther's blades twitched slightly),it just happened...Jeez man, don't hurt me, I just wanted to make a quick buck. When I steal an object, I deliver it to a building on 3ed and Main, and then the next day, my pay arrives, I don't know who or why, but they gave me this suit....So they must have money... Let me go, I'll give you my next three-"
Scyther had hit him wih the side of his blade.
"Let's go Scyther, we'll check out this address tommorow. Tonight, we need to deliver this man to the police."

With a loud laugh, and a Mightyena at her side, Ciel charged down the streets in search of closed shops that hadn't been graced by her yet or looked easy enough to rob. She was in her link-suit, though flying was incredibly obvious so she stuck to to ground for now. The wings on her suit thumped against her back, like a drum, and Ciel pointed forwards, and Blit raced ahead, barking a few times.

"He says there's no one around, really or no one too close," a voice called from above. Ciel flinched as Hunger dropped out of the sky to land softly in front of her. She needed to learn to to do that.

"Really? Well, let's get ourselves onto a high building," Ciel said with a smirk, looking around for somewhere she could fly from.

Hunger snorted. "I thought you were going to try to take off from the ground?"

"Too much work, I'm still trying to teach myself to land like you do."

"You'll never fly as gracefully as a bird, you know, right?"

"Yeah yeah, shut up." Playfully shoving her shiny Swellow and partner in crime, Ciel continued down the streets, following Blit. There was a shop or house to be robbed, and the Azure Wings was out tonight.

"What a lovely night. The Moon's light does shine beautifully tonight, my dear partner"

"That better not be a pun on the name you've given yourself, Se- ...Moon"

A white figure, face half covered in a mask that resembles a moon, turns to her equally white partner of a Gardevoir and smirks at her. She cross her arms and looks down at the streets below, her long brown hair weakly moving in the wind of the night.

"Ming. Shall we go find the evils that dwell in the city."

Ming floats to her side and looks down at the streets from their high perch, her visible purple eye scanning it silently.

"Yes. But it's a matter of if you want to wait for Masquerade or or we go alone."

Moon growls under her breath, looking off to a side puffing her cheeks out.

"And why would I want her with me? Every time she shows up, she tries to insult me, then she makes a move on me!"

"Well...your hair does look like--"

"NOTAMEATBALLHEAD!"

Ming laughs as she watches her usually cool headed partner work herself into a good rant.

Markha stood in the shadows of a large pine tree, watching everything carefully, unmoving. She wasn't the only one in the shadows, however; a larger, more bulky shape stood nearby, only partly revealed. From what you could see, the larger shape had brown skin and large ears. It murmured something to Markha, and the human headed into the nearby house, which was obviously hers.

Markha had left an odd orb on the table that was just up the stairs. This, although it didn't look like it, was a Link-Suit. Behind Markha, something stomped in the shadows; the Pokémon that had been mostly hidden before was now revealed by the faint light that came from the house. With a foot on the stairs, the Kangaskhan watched Markha carefully. A very slight illumination surrounded Markha, and became the costume that made her look much like a Kangaskhan. Her nickname, Dynamo (although she thought it was a bit tomboyish, she had thought of it herself) now took effect.

"Are we ready to head out yet?" the actual Kangaskhan anticipated, her large feet shifting impatiently on the gray carpet.

Markha's fake ears seemed to twitch for a moment, and she replied, "Only as soon as we get a pho-"

Just then, the phone rang, and Markha picked it up quickly, as if she had been running towards it before it had actually sounded. "Hello?" There was a small pause that the Kangaskhan heard, and then Markha immediately hung up. "Now, Fireclaw."

Though Markha was more burly than the average human in her costume, she was still able to discreetly slip into the outside night. Fireclaw followed cautiously behind; Kangaskhan wasn't exactly the best Pokémon at sneaking. But right now, their actions had to be fast, not hidden. They could possibly look like criminals if they stole too carefully through the night. Still, they had to sneak up on the criminal, at least a bit...

"Bank robbery?" Fireclaw asked in her beastly but gentle voice.

"You betcha," Markha growled. "The banks still haven't learned--"

"As if it's possible," Fireclaw cut in, her pace quickening a bit. "It's always hard to predict exactly which Pokémon will strike next."

The human exhaled deeply. "Good point," she sighed.

Almost immediately, she stopped. There was a dark, slender figure nearby, just sliding away from the large bank. That's it, Markha thought, suddenly following the robber. With a simple hand signal, she began to circle around, hidden by some bushes that were growing nearby. Plan A starts now.

A rasping cry of anger echoed off of the walls of the bank. Fireclaw began to charge at the criminal, whose eyes were widened with sudden panic. It was popular knowledge that if there was one Pokémon you didn't want to mess with, it was Kangaskhan. "Where did you come from?" the criminal asked, almost shouting. He was quite fast at running away from an enraged, 7-foot creature.

Of course, Markha had planned this. She lunged out of the shadows of the hedges, punching the man in the side. The criminal collapsed onto his knees for a moment; it was just long enough. Fireclaw pounced, grasping the man against her chest while holding his arms against his sides. "That's one less," she cooed, as if taunting the criminal. With an amiable smile, Fireclaw waited for Markha to handcuff the man. "Now we just need to turn him in," Fireclaw said. But there was something they were missing...

Snarling suddenly came out of nowhere, and a dark, canine shape leaped out of the darkness. Fireclaw immediately turned on the Mightyena. With her arms out, she grabbed the Mightyena's shoulders after taking a bite to the shoulder. As soon as she was able to imprison the dog as well, she said, "Good puppy."

Markha chuckled. "That was another job well done."

Xaldin stood on top of a tall building, with Gallade at his side. He was waiting. Waiting until his target was alone. Make sure to kill him. I don't care on how you kill him, just kill him. That was his orders. He suddenly found his target. Logan Maine. A business tycoon who turned corrupt. Crap, bodyguards and with link suits to. Not to hard, he smirked. He activated his Link suit and donned his mask, becoming the Wandering Swordsman. He dove in, his father's blades flashing as he took one out. The others immediately went into action. The one with a Snorlax partner punched him in his arm as he used Night Slash, leaving one left. He tried his best to dodge his attacks, as he knocked him out. Satisfied, he went to the next room, only to see him cowering behind a table.
"You know Nightslice, I hate seeing people like this."
"I know, but the orphanage needs the money."
Ya, I know.

And with that, he sliced his throat, discarded any evidince, and left to collect his reward.

Rune awoke, again, in the late afternoon. Three new pieces of mail had arrived. One was an advertisement for a limited-time sale on blue pokeballs. One was the newspaper, covering the events of costumed crusaders. Rune noted a disappearence, of a Mr Logan Maine, a corrupt buisness-man Rune had previously failed to put away, he was too powerful. He noted his own capture, and another apprehension, likely by another of the link-suited heroes. Rune knew there were at least 4 other heros in link-suits. They all had distinct ways of operating. But nothing pointed to a connection to the missing suits. He supposed that the only way of making any headway on this case, was to go to the address later that night. He turned on the Television.
"No..." There could not have been worse news.
"Today, Mr.Jacob Former, was released on early parole. His trial for countless murders and acts of terror across the city was noted by the disappearance of any witness who attempted to testify. Mr.Former's identity was revealed to the public by the costumed hero known as Buzzcut." Rune turned off the TV. He was in shock.
"Even...with all that evidence....He got off... 2 months and he's out... And all he needs now is his suit...and..." Rune shuddered just thinking about it.
"Thunderstrike...the first human to be linked to a Legendary Pokemon.... is free."

The last time Thunderstrike had been set loose, he created a lightning storm destroying most of the western outskirts of the city, causing hundreds of deaths. It was a testement to the corruption of the justice system that he was free. With the power of Raikou behind him... Jacob Former had the ability to destroy an entire city.

After her to quiet night, seeing that most of the troubles were fixed by other Heroes. Moon turned in for the night and tucked her suit into it's secret place under her bed in a compartment she constructed when she took up the call to a higher duty. After she took a hot shower, she slips into her bed and rests.

--------------

She was at work, arranging her Brother's files in his office with the news on in the background. She clicked her tongue at the mention of a bussiness man that was more powerful than god had disappeared, and that another criminal was put away.

No doubt from one of the others.

"Today, Mr.Jacob Former, was released on early parole. His trial for countless murders and acts of terror across the city was noted by the disappearance of any witness who attempted to testify. Mr.Former's identity was revealed to the public by the costumed hero known as Buzzcut."

Serena drops the papers in her hands and spins on her heel as she gapes at the TV.

"What were they thinking?!"

She sits on the edges of her Brother's and stares at the TV as it showed the man leaving what once protected the people from him. The man that caused so much trouble was out again.

"This isn't good...who let that moron out..."

She looks over her shoulder at her Brother's desk, her heart sinking.

"...Oh please. Dear god please don't let have been Sammy...If it is, I'm going to kick his ass so hard...and pry Kay off of him when she hears of this."

Now dressed in her street clothes, Ciel wandered up and down the roads, waiting for night to arrive. No rest for the weary. She had allowed herself a two hour nap, but today, she had a feeling that there would be something more. Something would happen today..

Though she had that feeling almost every day. It usually meant nothing. Ciel passed an electronics store, looking up to see what was on TV.

"Today, Mr. Jacob Former, was released on early parole. His trial for countless murders and acts of terror across the city was noted by the disappearance of any witness who attempted to testify. Mr. Former's identity was revealed to the public by the costumed hero known as Buzzcut."

Wait, what?

Mr. Former, Jacob Former.. no, the name didn't sound very familiar. Though there was something about that name..

Oh yeah. The guy with the Raikou suit.

"They'd at least have taken his suit.." Ciel muttered, and thought for a moment. Or maybe that was a good thing, if they hadn't. The other 'heroes' in link-suits would be busy chasing after him, and she'd be able to take the chance to rob more up-scale places. Maybe even find herself a home base. Heheheh. This might be better than she thought..

Though he might kill her at the first sight of her. They'd never be able to tell.

Rune walked into the central Orchard city police station. It was well known for it's security measures, and that fact that it had been specifically built to hold the link-suits of captured criminals.
"Hey Rune! Good job on the Young case, we've got enough evidence that nothing can keep him out of prison for a long time!". Rune nodded. Young had been using a link-suit combined to a Hypno to kidnap children, then force the parents to pay huge ransoms. Thanks to some serious errors on Young's part, Rune was able to bring him down legally, without his own suit. Rune had more pressing issues however. Namely, speaking with the Chief of Police, a woman known only by a codename. "Clue". Rune walked into her office.
"Clue. I trust you heard."
"Yes, Former's release caused quite the panic here. We've got our link-suit on standby, and if need be, we'll make a public release asking for the help of any costumed heroes in the city." She laughed, though it was more a thing of irony than humor.
"These suits... They gave the criminals too much power, more than we have, so the legal system is basically useless now. The suits are too rare for anyone but the most powerful people to get one, and the scum of the underworld, it seems like they just keep multiplying. If it weren't for Heroes like The Nightmind, we'd be overwhemled.
"Nightmind... He did do some good work, didn't he?"
"...Rune... I'd rather not." Clue looked as if she was suddenly very far away from Rune.
"Good, I have more important buisness. Where is the Raikou Link-suit? Was your team successful?"
"No. We can't destroy the suit. It's simply too strong. We can't break those links, and even the professor says it's impossible. So it's in maximum lock-down. It's being guarded by our own link-suit."
"The Arcanine?"
"Yes."
'Who has access to that area."
"Myself, and 3 other officers...and Nightmind."
"I'll be going then."

Nightmind... He had formed a link with an Alakazam. He mastered the Link-suit, was so strong in his mind that he could level buildings with a thought. When Former attacked... Nightmind was one of the Heroes who fought him. In the fight, the Alakazam had been vaporized by an incredible bolt of lightning... Not only was Nightmind's suit destroyed, but when he recieved the rush of psychic energy from his Alakazam...so was his mind. He lived in a mental institution now... Always drawing images of costumed heroes.

"I hope I end up better than he does."

Xaldin came back to his apartment after he delivered 90% of his reward to the orphanage. He was greeted by Tenebrae, his Umbreon. Turning on the T.V, he turned to the news and was just in time to catch a news report about Jacob Former... and his release.

"Today, Mr.Jacob Former, was released on early parole. His trial for countless murders and acts of terror across the city was noted by the disappearance of any witness who attempted to testify. Mr.Former's identity was revealed to the public by the costumed hero known as Buzzcut."

Upon hearing this, he did a spit take.

"What!? Former is out of jail?!? He was the man who killed my mother!" Xaldin exclaimed.

"And my mother too. Nightslice added, "My mother was partners with your mother as my father was to your's"

"Ya, I know." He replied simply.

Kay pulled her hair back up into a tight bun, having just removed the Link-Suit from a training session with Jacob and Kali, and picked up the television remote in the large sitting room of her home, and sat down in a loveseat, Cookie the Roserade sitting next to her, arms crossed.

"Come and relax, Jacob." She said, with a small smile on her lips; she had a soft spot for the boy. "You've earned it. Good job tonight."

She flipped on the television, which sparked to life, and it appeared to be still on the news channel.

"Today, Mr. Jacob Former, was released on early parole. His trial for countless murders and acts of terror across the city was noted by the disappearance of any witness who attempted to testify. Mr. Former's identity was revealed to the public by the costumed hero known as Buzzcut."

Kay squeezed the remote in her hand. Former... She remembered him well. It had been hell working on that case. She had hoped to take care of him her own way, but had been kept so busy trying to track down witnesses only to have them disappear on her. But she had got him. But now... She growled a low warning tone.

Cookie gave her a look, then glanced toward Jacob. She stood up and nodded at Kay, then strode to the doorway and stood at attention. Kay picked up the softly glowing purple-and-green orb that was her Link-Suit and stood up.

"Let's go, Jacob." She growled, her temper on the verge of lost.

((I hope it's okay that she worked the case, since she is a prosecuting attorney... ^ ^; ))

Sideous Grimes floated slightly in an alleyway, looking with distaste at the trash on the ground. His hoverboots rippled the muddy concrete slightly as The Spectre turned a knob behind his ear.

...small gas explosions injures two at local auto sh-...

...a lost baby Eevee, named Nibbles, last seen on Oak and Cresc...

...-ank robbery in progress, armed duo of Link-Suited criminals. Located on Fifth Street...

"You heard that, right, Spook?" asked The Spectre of his Dusknoir.

"Well, duh, Sid," replied the Ghost-type, tapping his antenna. The apparition floated upwards quickly, Sid closing up the rear. The two floated almost silently next to one another, heading towards the crime they had both picked up on their radio-sensitive antennae.

The pair landed on top of the Bank and Spook grabbed Sid. They both phased through the roof. Floating silently against the ceiling, and above the duo of bank robbers. They were accompanied by a pair of Medicham, and their Link-Suits were linked to the Fighting-types. The two humans were also carrying guns.

Slipping a small device from one of his many pockets, Shadey threw it over in front of the perpetrators. The gadget immediately started shrieking and popping loudly, and whatever attention the criminals had was focused on the device.

Smirking, Sid floated up behind them with not-entirely-human silence and reached for the guns, his phasing-gloves passing through the hands of the distracted criminals. A surge of triumph flowed through Sid as he plucked the guns from the possesion of his opponents.

As if on cue, the Medicham both looked directly at him and alerted their masters psychically. Instinctually, Sid shot up with his boots. The Medicham both jumped, and Sid shot out two Shadow Balls from his palms. The Fighting-typed fell backwards, and The Spectre shot down and grabbed the two Pokéballs hanging from the belts of the criminals. Clicking the buttons, Sid watched as red lights shot out from the balls, absorbing the Medicham. As if on cue, which it was, Spook zipped down and grabbed the two confused criminals and floated out of the window, dropping the crooks onto an abandoned rescue trampoline.

Shadey and the Dusknoir flew out of the ceiling again, and floated off, away from the bank.
