• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Let the Feathers Fly

"I will! I will! He said I could!" Roran continued, talking excitedly at DarkWing while waving his wing at Rajoc.

"Attack, attack!" Aren screeched, and glared at Slushie. "Death is bad for our side, not the Spearows. They all must die!" He flared his wings, and a few down feathers fell to the ground.

"Hmm . . . I will think on it, Roran." He said, knowing that Roran wasn't that great a fighter. But maybe, if he could be quiet, Roran could be good at stealth. And I can whip him in shape by nightfall, he thought. "But I'd have to prepare you. Can you stay quiet? If so you may be of use."

"Sure, I can stay quiet! I'm really good at staying quiet! I-" with that, he sheepishly clamped his beak shut.

"I'll only fight under two circumstances. The situation gets worse, or I get solid evidence of the Spearow's wrong doing. And even then I don't promise to like it." Haruto jumped in the middle of the quarreling Pidgey and once again spread his wings, this time in an attempt to break up some fights.
"And could we PLEASE not kill Slushie here!? I thought you wanted to tear the Spearow apart, and if you're going to do it PLEASE don't do it to each other! So c'mon guys, PLEASE stop trying to strangle your fellow Pidgey!"

"Peh...." Kazura said, "Fine. You don't have to fight. But the rest of us will."

Kazura broke the grip on Slushie.

Sukoi took a hop to the side next to Slushie, glaring at nothing in the distance. She leaned her head over and poked her beak open a miniscule amount.

"Thanks for standing up," she whispered.

Name: Autumn
Gender: Female
Species (Pidgey or Spearow): Pidgey
Personality: Rather aggressive, she fights for food when she needs it, if she needs to fight. Otherwise, she's calm and peaceful around her allies. Not so much around the Spearow.

Slushie groaned under Kazura's talons, and hated each word that was spat by Kazura. Aren didn't help with his relatively violent words, and Slushie was getting furtherly aggravated by the apparantly wished for violence. Slushie found himself relieved when Haruto managed to get Kazura to get off of his chest. Slushie agreed in his mind with the circumstances the Haruto stated.

"I agree with Haruto, it would have to be one of those two conditions to force me to fight." Slushie's expression was a mix of pain, anger, and disappointment. He was als happy that he had a good mix of attacks that the others proved to be unaware of.

Name: Screech
Gender: Male
Species (Pidgey or Spearow): Spearow
Personality: has a tendency to over think things. Screech is paranoid and has twich in his left eye. He hates being in interupted when he is talked and is not really one to start a conversation.

"Rajoc, I do not know how well I will be able to train Roran by nightfall, but I will try." DarkWing quietly told Rajoc the news.

"Hi Sir! Are you gonna train me now? It'll be tons of fun! You'll see, I'm really good at sneaking! Really really good!" Roran had forgotten all about the fact that he was supposed to be quiet.

"There's nothing 'fun' about intensive steath attack training. You're going to learn to take opponents in one fatal blow, and if you don't kill them with that, you have to be prepared to fight. Are you ready for that? No. Not even close yet. Are you ready to train right now?" DarkWing yelled to Roran, even though they were standing next to each other.
