• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Pandemic

((I'm not the one who controls the scientists, goddamnit! You can control them yourself! If you're interacting with one, talk for him, not wait for me to do it for ya!))

The scientist panicked and ran inside. "Don't come close to me agaaaiin!!" He screamed and held his hands before his eyes, probably thinking if he didn't see them, they couldn't see him, and he ran in a wall and fainted.

Probably from the intense effort of lifting the Rhyhorn, Carv got dizzy. Everything was slow and spinning and appeared to have a white glow. He heard his belly complaint, threw up on the floor and fell on his back still with vomit on his blue facial hair. He could hear steps and screams... far away. Gradually, every little sound felt like it was coming from inside his head, echoing... and suddenly... silence...

Miles kicked the unconcious body of the scientist. He smirked.

A scientist was stelthily after Miles. He shot a transquilizer. Miles noticed it. But it was too late. He collasped.

Timothy realised that a scientist was glaring at him. He didn't know what he intended to do.

"Ah. We're having a staring contest?" He looked at the scientist. Suddenly, he fired a Charge Beam.

Oyasumi was thrown to a wall, unable to hold on to the Rhyhorn any longer.
"Owwww... that hurt!" he fired a tranquilizer at the Rhyhorn, knowing the thin needle wouldn't have any effect.

Evelyn gritted her teeth. This wasn't getting them anywhere. Why the heck did the Rhyhorn come anyway? As a Rhyhorn came charging toward her, she whimpered in fear and grabbed firmly onto two of the spikes. Slowly, Evelyn climbed up the beast's side and onto its back.

She leapt as high as she could into the air and tunderpunched a hole in the ceiling. Disapppointedly, Evelyn struggled to climb up into an attic full of crates and wires instead of the roof she'd hoped was there. A scientist ran near her and threw a tranquilizer that struck her in the foot.
"D- dammit," she muttered, feeling dizzy.

"Oh, yeah, I've got the virus! I completely forgot!" she muttered to herself. This time, the kept her distance to the next scientist she talked to. "I'll voluntarily go, if you give me space to run around in on a daily basis!" she said.

((I would get the scientist's answer, but I gots to take a shower soon, and I need to catch up on my RPs!))

Aria cowered behind a large crate, hoping to hide from any scientist. She gritted her teeth, preparing a Thunder Wave.

Marissa groggily woke up after fainting from the syringe. "Uhhh...where am I...?" she muttered to herself. Wherever she was, it was pitch black. She felt around her; she was in a small cell-like room. I guess they're separating all of us after we escaped she thought. I wonder how the others are doing?

(( Oh, sorry ^^;; ))

"Ugh..." Karen opened her eyes. Her head felt heavy and she was sleepy. Whu happened? Oh... right... I was hit by a syringe. But where am I? She thought. It was pitch black, and she heard voices close to her.

"Hello?" She said uncertain. She had remembered that voice before.

To light up the place, Karen let out a weak Thundershock. There were cages at each side of her, and there was something attached to her body. Cables and wires. She looked to the rigth where she had heard the voice.

"You... You're one of my kind!" It was the Pachirisu girl.

Then suddenly her body felt drained for energy, and the thundershock faded. It was the cables and wires that was on her body that did it! They took energy out of her!

"Goddammit..." She suddenly became dizzy because of lack of energy. She tried another Thundershock but it was absorbed by the cables.

Next thing Miles knew, he was trapped in an incredibly tiny cage. Every moment, energy was zapped from him.

"Are...they trying to kill us?" he asked weakly.

"I dunno... Maybe just weaken us..." Karen fell on the floor, drained by so much power that she didn't even manage to take the plugs out.

"Ugh..." She moaned, her tail slowly waving back forth across the cage floor.

((I am back!))

The scientist cocked his head. Why would a Pokehuman go voluntarily? Well, they didn't have to use tranquilizer, so the scientist agreed and found a large room for her.

Oyasumi, hiding under rubble, watched Mysti go.
If they don't find me, I'll follow her... The rest are probabally being subjected to torture.

Carv opened his eyes but everything was dark. Trying to get up, he banged his head on the top of the cage he was sitting in and fell down, still weak. "Ouch!" a zap of energy was drained from him through cables and wires attached to a machine nearby. His eyes gleamed gold and he saw all of the other mutants in that room, each confined within its own cage.

"We're doomed..." he said, distractedly out loud.

When Mark woke up again he still couldn't see anything. Although now, he could feel some sort of cable on him. "Must be to absorb the electricity." He thought to himself.

"Hang on," He thought. "Maybe some other people got caugh too. As much as I'd hate it, It would be good to finally have some company.

"Anyone there?" He called.

"Yeah...I'm here, and...I think everyone's here," Marissa weakly said to whoever called out. "Let me see if I can try and light up the place..." Marissa tried using an electric attack, but was too weak to succeed. She noticed that wires were attached to her body. "These cables must drain out all our energy, so we can't use attacks..."

"Probably..." Karen felt more and more electricity be drained from her, then she heard other voices nearby.

"Are they ready?" A deep voice said.

"Yes. Let's let out the virus again..." A lighter, high-pitched voice.

Then a loud "Clunk."

"If my theory is correct, it was the electricity that protected the Pokémon, but with their electricity gone, they'll become infected and die within 48 hours like a normal person." The light voice said.

"Th-they're going to ki-" But then she freaked out when something crawled on her body again. "AGH!!" Karen screamed of all her might. "They're infecting us with the viruuuss!!"

"What's that?" The deep voice.

"I'll go turn on the lights, with the electricity from th-"

"Shut the hell up and turn on the lights already!"

The whole room lightened up, and all the white would blind Karen if she did't have her eyes closed. "Do not think of the virus. It's not there. Do not think. Don't think..." She muttered desperatly, trying to calm herself down.
