I still don't know if I should spend $55 to buy it on ebay.... I mean what if there is some major glitch that makes it unplayable at some point(I doubt it)? I won't be able to service in the USA so then I would have to send it to japan and ugh what a mess.

I'm still thinking about it though. I would like to know if there are any major glitches before I get it I'll probably wait a month to get it so there is enough time to find out if there are any glitches.
 
I hope that I'll be able to get it 1 day earlier than the US release date like I did with my Diamond.

I looked at the new updates on Serebii. Gym Leader/Ally rematches? More Fire and Electric-types? New look for a lot of places? More people to interact with on Wi-Fi? New Move Tutor possibilities? Your own house AND people who visit it?

Only one sentence divided into many for emphasis can describe all that:

O.O Holy... Your rival gets Pokemon with the following levels when he is at his strongest:

79, 79, 81, 82, 83, 85

They are, in the same order as the levels, Roserade/Floatzel, Floatzel/Rapidash, Staraptor, Heracross, Snorlax, Torterra/Infernape/Empoleon

Compared to Red's team in GSC (first levels then Pokemon, from lowest level to highest level):

73, 75, 77, 77, 77, 81

Espeon, Snorlax, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu

And f**k Pearl. Really, he knew he shouldn't of messed with Red's title. I'm gonna enjoy destroying him with a copy of Red's team....
 
...uh, no? It's a Wi-Fi giveaway that's happening in a few weeks. Serebii said so, PokéBeach said so, Bulbanews said so, the dates for the giveaway have been floating around for a while...? And they've been saying the other option is "go to a retailer". Where on earth did you see that it's Nintendo event only? I've never seen any mention of an actual go-to-Pokémon-party event anywhere. If you get on Wi-Fi during that time period, you get it.

Unless, of course, it's the giveaway you're referring to, in which case, as I said, people have known that for a while. Ever since the silhouettes were revealed people knew that you'd need a "special giveaway item" to get whatever they were.

Also, I think the villa looks kind of dumb, to be honest. Unless you can also decorate it with secret base/underground things, you can only buy the same expensive stuff everyone else does, it isn't that great a selection... no, no thanks, not really. It doesn't let you show off what a special snowflake you are.
 
Looking at all the new features added, it looks like the programmers have really poured their hearts into this game. It readily puts Diamond and Pearl to shame, as if they were just fillers to buy time for this game to be produced o.o

And yeah, two fire types is awful >< I ended up going without either, despite the fact that fire types are high up on my list of favorite types.

Right up to the Elite Four with just a Rapidash in the way of a Fire type was TORTURE for a PokéPyromaniac like me. But then that's my own fault for starting with Turtwig ^^;
