Closed Pokemon: A Shadowy Past

"Work on it Namba, but stop production on Shadow Trainers until the problem is solved."
Namba coughed hard.
"Yes Commander."
Namba was about to hang up when Vendetta spoke.
"And Namba. You are to stop production even if an Admin tells you to continue. Understood?"
Namba coughed on the other end of the line.
"Understood Commander."
Vendetta hung up. He looked around his office. There was his large ornate desk which held files on every Grunt under his command, as well as several weapons, a pair of pistols, a crossbow, two katanas, numbchucks and a belt of shurikens. One could never be too careful. At the other end of the room were several crates of equipment. Vendetta alone knew what these boxes contained. The parts for his Shadow Transmitter. Each part was delicate and precisely crafted. Despite the multitude of large crates, all in all he had enough parts for four Shadow Transmitters, plus the one already on his bass, which was propped against the wall behind him.
"Right, let's see what the Shadow Trainers have been up to."
Vendetta took a report from the pile on his desk.
"Attack on Pyrite Hotel. Suspected Zangoose Trainer, Gardevoir Trainer, Raichu Trainer, Crobat Trainer and Garchomp Trainer escaped. Umbreon Trainer captured and delivered to...Commaner Vendetta? I haven't been given an Umbreon Trainer..."

Diamax ducked, but still was burned on his back. He yelped in pain, but got back up and grinned at his trainer, fangs showing. She picked him up and held his mouth closed with her hands, laughing.
"You look really freaky when you smile like that! It looks like the face of a possessed doll!"
The Sableye giggled and jumped out of her arms. He sat down on the ground and folded his arms, pretending to pout.

"Things seem to be wrapping up, Xai. What say we deal them a blow from the shadows?"

Xai nodded. He then gathered shdow energy into his hand, and fired it at the hotel. I, meanwhle, used earthquake on the hotel.

"I think it's safe to say that there will be a few less Team Midnight members in the world in a few moments

(okay I have no idea how to start so... lets just say he was under some heavy sleeping meds while everything was going on.Oh and Wisp has no idea of what's going on.)

Wisp opened his eyes. He saw the whole world spin until it finally settled down. He got up and looked around the room.
"My room. I'm in my room....What's going on?" he said as he stumbled around feeling for the door. He found it and went down the hallway. He approached the door of Commander Vendetta. He knocked twice and waited for a response.

Moon stared at the glowing sphere, somehow mesmerized by its colors. He didn't think to get out of the way until it had already struck him. The Flareon twitched and shuddered, bewilderdly (sp?) looking around. Everything looked distorted and he felt extremely dizzy. For a moment, Sheila became clear and he took the opportunity to form another swirling, dark Shadow Ball and hurled it at her.

Sheila, struck by the Shadow Ball, yelped in pain before diving at Moon with her claws bared for a Slash attack. Mia herself had taken to tying up the Midnight member she had hypnotized.

"Some of them got away. Chances are we'll be followed by another squad if they got back to their base. And I sincerely hope they weren't under that commander, Vendetta, with his Shadow Transmitters. I've seen them once before, just before I escaped."

Moon cried out in pain and collapsed, no longer having the strength to continue.

Something's moving my arms... and there's something on my wrists. It's kinda like a bracelet, but that seems unlikely. Wait. Weren't Moon and I in a fight with that Gardevoir girl? Well, then what's happening n-
Alison opened her eyes after the hypnosis finally wore off. She noticed Moon unconcious on the ground and tried to run, but found that she couldn't move. Had they been beaten so easily?

Once Mia had finished tying the knots on the ropes going around Alison, she glanced up with a twisted grin.

"Awake, are we?" she asked with poison in her voice, "Good, good..." with that, she charged a Shadow Ball and aimed it at her. "Now tell me. You've aroused my curiosity, so what were you saying before?"

I saw all of the action unfold.

"Okay, time to get going. I suspect that a few Team Midnight members hung back; if they were, it would no doubt be the superiors of the group."

I recalled Xai. "I'd have you keep a watch on the aftermath, but things are getting too hectic for either of us to stick around."

And with that, I tunneld underground, and began to work my way toward the exit to Pyrite.

I had a score to settle

Alison stared in horror at the Shadow Ball aimed right at her. She'd never been so close to death before.
"Just that if you gave up, we'd just take you back to base, but I could arrange something to protect you so long as you became my ally. Seems pretty damn poinless now, though..." she muttered, gritting her teeth. If only she'd woken up sooner, she could have sent out Jolteon or Cirria to help Moon, and they'd most certainly win.

Vendetta picked up the phone and dialled in the room of the Under-Commander who'd been in charge of the operation.
"Under-Commander Savage speaking."
"Savage, this is Commander Vendetta."
"Ahoy Commander, what's up?"
"I have a report here that says an Umbreon Shadow Trainer was delivered to this room."
"Indeed, I handled the delivery myself."
Vendetta frowned.
"Well there's no Umbreon Trainer here."
Vendetta heard Savage gasp.
"WHAT!? I'll organise a search of the base."
"You do that Savage. And I want RESULTS."

(Um yeah about that Um I asked if there was anyway I could join and flora told me I could. As for bein accepted I had no idea I had to wait to be accepted so SORRY!!! XP)

I hadn't factored one thing in my plan when i had decided to search for the squad leaders:

How far to branch out while looking for them. It was a big desert, and though I was a Garchomp, a pokemon that could go anywhere in a desert, at any speeds, it would take time to look everywhere.

Nevertheless, i tunneled on.

I'll start in the areas closest to the town, I thought, I imagine they wouldn't want to be stationed so far out in the desert that their Grunts couldn't get back.

"Oh..." Mia muttered, lowering the Shadow Ball. Her urge to kill was fading. Now this just seemed cruel and wrong. She fell to her knees, a tear running down her cheek. She wanted to apologize, even accept the offer, but she knew it would be wrong to do it. But then, it WOULD give her a chance to infiltrate Midnight's base. But it felt wrong to betray her, even when she knew what Midnight was doing was wrong.

"I just don't know..."

"Eh...?" Alison murmured, blinking in confusion. "Wh- what're you crying for?" she stuttered in bewilderment.

"C-confusion... P-pain..." Mia whispered. Sheila nuzzled her side and she hugged the Ninetales tightly.

"I-I'm sorry... That offer... It seems nice enough to accept, but I just don't know... So confused..."

"F- for god's sake, miss, you don't have to say yes. I mean, they're obviously a threat to you and they're the ones who sent us to attack you in the first place. It was careless of me to promise something without thinking. Just escape for now. If you need me, find a way, but don't put yourself at risk for nothing. It's a waste..." she muttered, though she could hardly believe how soft she was being. Did the Gardevoir trainer really mean so much to her? Why...?

"Yes, you're right..." Mia muttered, shakily standing on her two feet again. She couldn't believe how she sounded. Then, it was better than walking out of a hotel with blood on her hands, and the Midnight looked so young. Thinking on that, she willingly untied her.

"Go." she mumbled, before jumping out of a hole in the wall.

Vendetta stretched. Being a Commander wasn't easy, especially when you were also busy masterminding the downfall of five egomaniac Admins who denied you power. Enigma, who had fallen to his team, Savage, Enigma's yonger brother and then the Starter Trio, Diane, Faurora and Nayl.
