Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed Pokemon: A Shadowy Past

The Grunt noticed Kou chasing him and, too quickly to notice, switched the real me with a dummy in the shape and color, as to fool her long enough for the Commander, who had led the attack, to get away with me.

Xai quickly floated back to me. One look at his face told me everything.

"Interesting. So the Shadow Trainers are beginning to join up, are they? How... Intruiging."

"Still, it's not our conflict, and it's not our problem. And I will do whatever it takes to ensure that it continues to not be our problem. We msut fight Team Midnight alone."

When the Grunt got to the Midnight Base he dropped me off in Vedetta's office, since he wasn't around. Then, I woke up. "Where am I?" I thought. "Well, Blade, it seems we're back in the Midnight Base." "Wha- th-that's impossible! How could that happen? I was with three other people! How and why would they take me alone?" "You were the easiest target, so they had most of them hold of the rest while the other one took you." "They're smarter then I thought." "Yes and Midnights are coming! Quick! Hide!" and so I hid behind a box and listened carefully. "...Um, sir, we could only catch one of them..." "WHAT?! Why couldn't you catch the others?" They started. "Oh, they're just talking about catching me..." I thought, and waited, but I fell asleep. In the Midnight Base. In one of the Commanders' office.

((OOC: Dude, I don't know if you know, but you're godmodding by speaking for what appears to be Vendetta.))

((Sorry. I didn't mean to any I may have done. The person in the last post wasn't mean't to be Vendetta, just another commander. If you could tell me how to fix this, it would help alot))

(Sorry if I've already posted this, but the internet is being strange and it died before I could post last time. If it's still here, I'll delete this one.)

"Oh, jeez... Don't put me on the same level as those psychotic scientists. Look, you're going to lose sooner or later, so you may as well just surrender. If you do, we ca-" Alison started to say before the hypnosis got to her. Her body limply fell to the ground, though Moon was able to dodge it. Moon's red fur bristled and he growled lowly. He bent his head low and gathered energy into a spiralling purple and black orb in front of his mouth. The Flareon reared his head back and hurled the Shadow Ball straight at Mia.

Mia smirked, charging a black-and-purple orb of similar magnitude on her arm. What the girl had started to say aroused her curiosity, but she'd get to that later. Throwing the Shadow Ball at the Flareon, it met the other in midair and neutralized it with a small explosion.

((I think I have to drop out. Basicly because I have'nt played XD so I don't know what most of you are talking about... Sorry))

Moon stared at the shadow trainer. He'd never had guessed that she could be so strong while still being part human. He stood his ground and tried to think of something that could overpower Mia, but failed to come up with anything. Moon bared his fangs and charged at Mia, ready to bite down when he reached her.

Mia hissed as the bite connected with her leg. She attempted to kick the Flareon off of her while charging another modified Shadow Ball. A white flash next to her, and a cream-colored blur dashed at Moon, slashing its claws at him.

"Then again," i said, "Perhaps we should amke our interference limited."

Using the power I'd gained from my expiriments, I shot a shadow burst at the Pyrite hotel. Nothing devastating, jsut enough to weaken that section of the wall so pieces of it came down.

"Let's see how Team Midnight handles that."

Moon hissed in pain as the kick and the shadowball both hit him. He stood up quickly and breathed in for another Flamethrower, though was instantly knocked to the ground by a Ninetales (right?). He yowled helplessly as the cream fox gouged her claws at him. Moon closed his eyes and desperately blew an enormous ball of flame at Sheila, hoping that the Overheat would at least stall her enough for him to gain some distance..

((You're correct.))

Mia growled again, glancing around the room. There only appeared to be two or three Midnights left including the Flareon's owner, and another Shadow Ball quickly took the others out. Then she watched calmly as Sheila took on Moon of her own accord.

The Overheat seemed to engulf Sheila, in what looked like a sure defeat, until the Ninetales simply shook off the flames in a magnificent display of her Flash Fire ability. She quickly retaliated by launching herself at the Flareon with her jaws open intimidatingly.

((Moving. Missed a lot... really sorry. And shadow Zangoose learns Shadow Mist and Rush. yipee. =/))
"Diamax! Shadow ball!"
The Sableye obeyed, it's hands surrounded in a black aura before shooting it at the Flareon. Devon thought it was rather ironic. His first true attack was Shadow Ball.

Moon leapt away the minute Sheila was hit by the flames. He growled, knowing that his strength had been drained over a technique that barely had any effect. The Flareon crouched down and showed his fangs to the Ninetales too, ready to bite as soon as she got close.

Without warning, Moon was knocked to the ground by a Shadow Ball that he hadn't seen. He stood up shakily, beathing heavily, and looked around. A Sableye and a Ninetales... and his trainer was still alseep. He couldn't handle them both. Moon turn blew a Flamethrower at the Sableye, though it was clear that the attack wasn't quite as strong as before.

Vendetta was in his office. The interdepartmental phone rang.
"This is Dr. Namba, is Commander Vendetta available?"
Vendetta held back the phone as Namba started coughing. The old scientist was past his prime.
"Speaking, Namba."
More coughing.
"Ah yes m'boy well I ran the diagnostics and whatnot and both the Heart-closing and Fusion systems are fully functional and operational."
Vendetta frowned.
"Then what is it that's causing the Shadow Trainers to rebel?"
Yet more coughing.
"Well after I had confirmed the Heart-closing and Fusion systems were working, I ran some tests on the Shadow Trainers we still have. I discovered something *cough cough* most concerning. It seems that every Trainer who has rebelled was fused with a Pokémon carrying Pokérus. When Pokérus is exposed to the radiation used in Fusion *cough cough cough* it opens closed hearts. The good news is that this can be counteracted by Fusing before Heart-closing, whereas we did it the other way around before. The bad news is that mortality rates for Shadow Trainers will triple and those that survive the process will age extremely rapidly and die within a year. We don't have the human resources for those kind of numbers. "

Mia backed up as Sheila raised her head up with her mouth open. A glowing violet orb formed in the kitsune's mouth, and as she let it go it floated toward Moon.

"Confuse Ray...?" Mia muttered to herself, shielding her eyes from the ray's effects.
