Closed Pokemon: A Shadowy Past

As I watched, someone entered the Pyrite hotel. Nobody interesting, I thought, Jacket, blue skin-

Wait, did that guy have Blue Skin?

Impossible.

No. It's not impossible. There is one explanation.
 
X-Ray was wandering in the citys dark corners. He was alone... He liked that.

I wonder if I'll ever turn normal again... I wonder if there is some way... He thought, but he got interupted by something moving behind a big piece of wood. Or something that looked like a big piece of wood. He was'nt sure.
The something moved again, and X-Ray moved the wood enough for him to see what was behind. It was a little, terrified Meowth kit.

Aww... How cute... He thought. NOT! He then lashed with his paws at the Meowth, but it fled into the light. X-Ray followed it, but humans started to point at him and annoy him, so he soon escaped into the shadows again.

Hate humans...
 
Mia had already gone to the room, but had not been able to get in due to lack of a key. So she stood and waited for the others. Minus Kou, but she hadn't even met her yet. She sighed as she leaned against the wall.
 
I walked into the room and let Mia in with supplies and new clothing. As I was walking in I saw someone with blue skin. Wait, blue skin?I stepped out off the room. Yes, blue skin. He must be a... "So, you're one of us huh? A Shadow Trainer?"

Devon followed Kou back to the room. Mia was outside the door.
"I just realized you haven't seen any of my Pokemon."
She released Diamax and Diana. The Sableye grinned, fangs showing, at Mia.
"I have a Dugtrio, but I probably shouldn't let her out and punch a hole through the floor."
Devon felt really stupid.
Where did that come from? I sound like an idiot.
At the same time, it sort of felt good to talk to somebody about anything but Midnight. (Heart beginning to open.)
 
Mia nodded.

"They're nice... You've already seen my Pokemon, the Ninetales that was with me, so..." Her stomach growled again. Instinctively, she glanced down at it. Sure she hadn't eaten in days, but why let them all know now?
 
Devon recalled the Ralts, but let the Sableye stay out. He seemed to be the only one of her Pokemon that actually liked her. Diamax grinned, and Devon pretend to hit him on the head.
"That creeps me out when you smile, it really does."
 
"Yes, well I only have a Shadow Quilava. It's shadow only because they found him on me when they took me. Oh, Mia, you look starving! Please eat this!" I said and handed her a box of food.
 
"Yes, thank you..." Mia muttered, gratefully accepting the box, "I never have enough money to be able to afford food for myself, and what I can I always give to Sheila, so..." she sighed, then looked down and closed her eyes as she went through the food and ate some.
 
"Oh? No money? I can...give you some..."I replied as I gave her some money.Right after I gave her the money I passed out. There was a crashing sound and Midnight Grunts started attacking the whole group. One of the higher ranking ones picked me up and ran off while the others were held off.
 
Mia twitched. Midnights. They were back. She looked up and her bright red eyes were glowing with energy. One of the perks of being fused with a Gardevoir. A large black orb, and by large I mean gigantic, formed on her left hand as the shadows in the room seemed to be drawn toward it. She then proceeded to fire it at the grunt carrying What's-his-face (she hadn't gotten his name) and anyone in the path of it while blasting one with a sort of Confusion attack.
 
(Ack! I missed so much! Sorry, all. Internet is limited on vacation.)


Alison watched the confusion coming toward her and ran out of the way, barely dodging it. She looked at the enemy with awe, admiring the beautiful green hair. So was the enemy another shadow trainer? What a pain. She snapped herself out of her daze a second later and took out a pokeball.
"Moon, take her down!" Alison yelled. A reddish-orange dog with long, pointed ears and a cat-like face with a yellow mane and curled fur on its head emerged and ran after Mia. The Flareon breathed in to draw in the extra heat around and blew out a stream of flames at the shadow trainer.
 
Mia, her lip curled up in a snarling face, jumped out of the way of the attack. So that's how she wanted to play it.

"You... You will die for doing this to me..." she hissed, raising one hand into the air and releasing a glowing orb from her fingertips. It was a sort of modified Hypnosis attack. And it was aimed at both the Midnight and the Flareon.
 
Kou stared at the scene. She shook her head and got her wits. "I'm not giving up now! Not after I've been free for 6 years!" she yelled as she carged her body rushing toward a grunt, in a human Volt Tackle. The Grunt hadn't been bracing himself and was shocked and slamed into the wall, knocking him out. Kou winced as she was shocked by her own power.
 
My broodings were interrupted by the sound of a skirmish coming from the direction of the Pyrite hotel. From my distance I could vaguely hear the sound of a shadow attack, and something striking something else.

"now comes the part where i scout this thing out," i muttered, "Xai!" I said while tossing a pokeball, "Check this out for me!"

The Pokeball burst open, and a floating Ghost Pokemon appeared: The Dusknoir which I'd found some time ago. It nodded once, and slunk into the shadows, sneaking toward the hotel.
 
Zacharius stared at the Grunts. "Crap," he groaned. He spread out his wings and hit the grunts with it, giving them a nice Wing Attack, knocking two of them unconscious. Zacharius landed back on the ground.
 
Denkou gathered up more electricity in her body. "Ahhhh!" she screamed as she lobed it at two of the guards, effectively burning them to a crisp.
 
The Grunt got up after the blow from Mia, picked me up and jumped out the window, me and my stuff with me.

((Wow it must be fun being knocked out...
...
Okay, I see I no longer annoy you...*runs off crying*
...))
 
Kou turned around. "Hold off the rest for me!" she yelled as she jumped out of the window after the grunt that had got Blade.
