• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Random things you've done becuase you were bored.

Whenever I have absolutely nothing else to do, I'll just do some random spriting. Although I only just recently got back into it because I FINALLY found a good spriting program for Mac.

rhon el vo nakunthi... ale, heika vo tirthi.

(I am making a language... yes, I am killing time.)

This, and I insist on making it pretty much as different in structure from English as possible so it's even more time-consuming.

Also when I'm walking somewhere like town or whatever I'll plan elements of my perpetually non-existant utopian sci-fi story in my head.

/\ This. (btw i hate my keyboard its losing keys one by one) I used to do it, anyways. I got up to like 40 elements...

I have re-read the entire Naruto series, at least three times. I also count my Pokémon cards. I get up to about 1000 before I quit.

We were bored so we went to the Mall of America and went the opposite way on all the escalators... It was fun, and it's rather challenging to go up the down one...

elir to rhon el vo nakunsil: kasu kantielfne. linalne, kasu nalne. iera to lon alse, dul iera to sirienth alse.

(ones making a language: never stop. run, never walk. it is slow, but it is amazing.)

I had to get a bit creative with my limited vocabulary. :B

Simjie-daloc, plad Dezzuu; Dhenelsig iga pet-ui da sa teija. Etaistelga, ui datai morcanes. Boveij-bobad.

(Thanks, Mr. Dezzuu; My thoughts are the same. It amuses one and is productive. Somewhat.)

(Also I am evidently extremely cool for doing it. [/sarcasm])

I am very interested in learning some of your language. language is fucking awesome B|

It is rather. We can discuss it over PM or whatever if you like, it'd give me something to do.

Oh also, back on topic somewhat, I have a variety of things on my desk that I fiddle with when I'm bored - for example, an antique pocket watch and one of those propeller things that you rub between your hands and it flies. Yeeaah.

A friend and I made a language once, but I'm not sure if it counts as a language. We just made the characters and kept english words and spellings. It looks cool, but it can be read if you try to find the patterns.

I made a finger puppet of of two styrofoam balls of this man.

I shoved a pencil to a banana just for the heck of it, and then ate it. I normally hate bananas.

A while ago I looked at a bunch of ants scuttling over a plant for several minutes, genuinely interested in what they were up to.

@Charizard2k: That's pretty much just an alphabet. :p

I am bugginged a friend of mine on MSN for nagging me to get MSN so much.

I also try to 100% complete video games.
