Open Return of the Pokemon - The Egg Holders

"Hm...I think some may...by the way, my names Liza. What's yours?" she asked glad she found another person who was carrying an egg. She heard another crack and looked at the egg. It looked as if it were about to split in half. "I think we should go to the hotel, before someone sees the egg..." Yet another crack came from the egg. 'This pokemon sure is eagar to get out!' she didn't say out loud.

"Jared. And that may be a good idea. For all we know, there could be some group trying to steal the Pokemon." Jared let out a chuckle. "I don't think that can happen unless someone got careless."

Jared then took another pause.

"Of course, it's not that funny..."

"Yes, we never know what could be out there." she said walking towards the hotel looking at the roof again. 'Hm...maybe I should call to that boy again..." she just shrugged and walked towards the door of the hotel, putting her egg in her bag before she forgot.

Drake regarded the room around him with caution, and began to talk to the girl.

"Well, you had something large and blue in your bag, and I heard it crack. And if you got an egg, I'm assuming you got Arceus's message. I have one too."

He showed the girl the royal blue egg in his backpack.

"He said that there were more egg holders, and that they all had to meet up here. I'm sure the boy you were just talking to had one as well. In fact, probably most of the people here are egg holders."

He looked around the room again and then continued to talk.

"People would kill to get an actual Pokemon. And I mean that literally. I'll be staying here until I know what to do with my egg. Wait, hold on a sec..."

Drake took a scrap of paper and a pen out of his bag, and sriblled down a number.

"This is the room I'm staying in. I were you, I'd try to find the rest of the egg holders and gather them together. maybe Arceus might speak to us again if we did that."

He began to walk towards the elevator.

Jared followed Liza towards the hotel, when suddenly, he realized, 'what'll I do with the egg? I've already attracted enough attention in Hearthome, but...' Jared suddenly got an idea. 'I know what I'll do.'

"You have an egg too?" Imogen asked, surprised. She grinned, stroking his egg with one finger, before pulling her own out of her pocket. "I have one too! But mine's a bit bigger." She smiled. The egg was warm, being so close to her body and surrounded in soft fabric. She held it in her arms.

"And hell yeah! It's been kinda lonely...even if I do have you." She glanced down at the egg, as if talking tot he Pokemon inside. She turned, so she was heading in the right direction now.

Blake stepped into his room and looked around, it was the basic single person room. he set his bag down by the bed and pulled out the glass case which held the egg. The egg was still shockingly warm so he placed it carefully on the bedside table and took his shoes off. He sat down on the bed and flicked on the TV.

"Today we recieved reports of pokemon eggs being found around the country, as of yet we have not recieved any photos or videos of such eggs but we have recieved rumours of eggs seen in Hearthrome City. A reward will be given to-"

Blake switched off the TV and looked at the egg, a jagged line ran down the side of it and it appeared to glow slightly. "I wonder how this will end."

She opened the door to the hotel and saw a girl and a boy heading for the elevator. 'Are they other people who have eggs?' she wondered renting a room with the money she had left over. 'I'll find out soon enough...' she thought to herself.

Jared waited by the entrance of the hotel, and took a quick look at the interior. His eyes set on a fancy lamp.

Jared closed his eyes and put a finger to his temple, focusing. He held the egg in one arm, and took a step in.

The lamp started floating. No one had noticed that, until someone shouted, "Hey, look at that lamp! It's floating!" Everyone was looking at the lamp, as Jared let go of the psychic grip, and ran right through the lobby, and grabbed Liza. He then headed for the elevator as the lamp fell and probably broke- Jared couldn't tell. He wasn't focusing on that.

Blake heard a crash so he stood up and went to the door, he opened it and leaned out, no one was in the hallway. He shrugged and went back into his room. 'I wonder if what Arceus said about their being more egg holders was true. I wonder if Salene was one...' Without even thinking about it he rolled over and flicked off the light before falling asleep.

Cairo woke with a start. He looked around and soon found the source of the noise, the egg.
"Huh. It must be close to hatching. Maybe it'll have hatched by morning."

~~~
David sighed. The person he'd yelled at hadn't heard him, and it was getting late. "There's no time to go back to the car, I'll go undercover."
He arrived in town just as the first star began to shine. He hurried to the hotel. He payed and quickly went up the stairs to his room.
"I'll bet most of them kids back there were Egg Carriers, now that there are no Pokémon, not many people come here. Except the students coming to study Ancient Pokémon, but whatever." He fell back onto the bed. "I'll nab one in the morning."
Liza let Jared pull her along until she decided to ask, "Um, what just happened? Why did that lamp just break?" she asked confused. She had seen the lamp float then fall, and Jared just pulled her along.
Having finally traversed the mountainous area in the deep fog, Jessica is now extremely close to Celestic Town. All that remains is to get down a large hill.
She steps onto the hill, overbalances, falls on her face, gets back up, hears another loud CRACK from the egg, and begins walking carefully downhill.
"I happened. I made that lamp levitate so I could get through unnoticed." Jared explained.
His egg suddenly cracked again, and the people in the hotel looked around in confusion.
((Short post is short))
Jack looked down at the teens and slid off the roof, careful not to damage the egg. He peeked out behind the building. He noticed that the teens had eggs, so he guessed he had to talk to them, despite being shy. He quietly walked over to them. "Hi..Names Jack..." He mumbled quietly. "Are those pokemon eggs...? I have one too..." He put his egg on the ground carefully, the crack now much bigger than before. He then looked up at them. "I've got no money, so the hotel isn't an option..." He stuttered, he was starting to get cold due to his shirt.
((Uh, Titress, we already went inside...))
"Ok. Here, put your egg in my bag. That way no one will see it and the cracks will be muffled." Liza said slightly confused. She opened her bag so he could place his egg in.
"OOOHH CRAAP!!" Cried a figure as it fell diwn Mt. Coronet. The noise of a pick-ax catching rock was heard and a sigh followed. "Why did I choose to go down the mountain instead of through it?" questioned a voice. The owner, was a female, around 19. She continued down the mountain and finally reach Celestic Town, like a Goat-with-a-pinwheel had told her to in a dream. Other people were already there, like she expected.
She remembered her egg, and began to wonder if they knew anything. She scratched her stomach, as her jacket only covered her chest.
"Heh, heh... That probably would've been a better idea from the start..." Jared mumbled. "I had other things on my mind, and you already went in..." His egg made another cracking noise as he handed it over to Liza, which once again caused confusion among the people in the lobby.
"Yea, I hadn't thought of it until just now, seeing those people confused!" she whispered back, placing the egg carefully in her bag. She looked at the key she had for her room and it said '127'. "You should probably come to my room too. Since you don't have one..." she said to him.
