• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Spirits return...

Mark watched as the obviously nervous Lucario stepped into the circle and disappeared. Mark pulled a bunch of Kasib Berries out of his pack, one for each of the people here, plus Xhan. he pulled some string from his bag and made a necklace for everybody. Kasib Berries were rumored to ward off ill-intentioned spirits. He stuck out several vines with necklaces hanging around the tip and said to the group, "Here, this should protect us from ghosts who wish us harm."

"Hey! Where are you goi-" Firebird screeched, but they left anyway. She groaned, hanging under the eaves of the tower again.

Sorry I've been not as active today. My friend's over, and I don't want to be disrespectful. So I probably won't be able to post until tomorrow.

Xhan watched the Shedinja warily. "I don't know for sure. I just need to find out what we could do to stop a return of spirits or.... Something like that. I just need to look at some of the more ancient records." A small Aura Sphere took shape in his palm, giving off a slight blue light.

Angelo contiues to swirl then starts to power up a shadow ball "What will you do if the spirits are supposed to come back?"

By the way i'm playing this out a la legend of dragoon. if you haven't played it your loss. but there is a ghost called shirly you must fight, you can't beat her untill she asks you a bunch of questions. and just a note: i has wonder guard xP

"I don't know..." Vanish finished the question for Xhan. "But you seem hostile. If you're looking for a fight, challenge me."

Crypicia me and xhan are in a diff dimension that you can only enter by my invatation.

OOC: Midnight, will you please stop typing in yellow? It hurts my eyes, and I have to highlight it to see it. If you want to show out-of-character messages, ((put them in double parentheses like this!))

"From what I know, they're supposed to rise, but not for a good reason. In the story my Grandpa told me, they'd end up stealing the bodies of Pokemon, in time. They'd have their life back, and that's all they cared about." He answered, his legs begining to shake ever so slightly.

Mika finally arrived at Lavender Town, but still thought about something. Did Grandma tell me to come here for a reason? Maybe so. But who knows. She sniffed around and smelled a bunch of Pokemon. A Lucario's scent stood out the most. He smells of the..."Mountains! Hey, you! You come from the mountains, am I right?" She growled, speaking directly to the Lucario who had the smell of the mountains surrounding him. Why're all these other Pokemon here? Did someone tell them to come, too? Eh. She kept her fangs bared, her claws digging into the ground, but she was slightly shaking, rembering what mountain Pokemon can do. But I'm a mountain-dweller as well! But I don't have the ability to face it. If I have to fight him, I'll do so. To protect my dignity.

((Um....Everbody?.... XHAN IS IN ANOTHER FREAKIN' DIMENSION!!!!.... *Anger subsides*.... I think.... Well, the point is, you can't contact him, so please stop. Sorry about the angry outburst. Those of you who already knew that.... That wasn't directed at you. Fear my long post of doom. Rawr. Happy RPing, everyone!^_^))

Xhan was stuck. "Um.... Well, you see, my family has, uh, kept in touch with other families, preparing. Each generation up to me has become good friends with the otherfamilies. They've trained intensly to combat the threat that is taking shape this very moment." Xhan's voice began to sound deeper, and more confident. It almost sounded like he was giving a speech. "Now it's MY turn to assume my postion in the force, just as it is the other Pokemon's turn. If you're wondering, our families have been, most likely, the sole survivors of believers. There's a prophecy, telling of spirits returning unnaturally to this world. Most Pokemon thought it was a mere child's tale, but out families had seen something tose many centuries ago that caused them to believe the prophecy!" By now, Xhan's voice was louder, and clearer than it had ever been. Then, in an instant, the confidence went away. The Aura Sphere in his hand disappeared, as he remembered theat the attack wouldn't likely do much against the Shedinja. The only move of mine that isn't fighting is Iron Tail!... This could turn out badly... Xhan cleared his throat and tried to continue. "I-if I c-could just mmmmmaybe lo-look at these-these books for a few-for a few moments, the-then, uh, that-that would help, and, I-I'd leave..."

Derish awoke to a sudden difference in his smell. He was senitive to these because it was his only means of moving around. It was similar to his own but covered in the smell of moutains. Derish turned to where he thought the smell was. He opened his scared eyes to intimidate them. He rolled his head several times to crack his neck. He placed his paws in a position incase of attack. He prepared for the worse.

"What?" Firebird twitched her ears, and sent out sonic sounds at the newcomer. It was a four-legged one, small and dog-like. It had the rough outline of a...

"Houndour," she said. "You here for the group, too?" she asked it.

Derish stepped closer. He was trying not to growl but had to. "Who are you?" he asked. He was far too impatient to wait for an answer. Derish let a large ball of flame build in his mouth to iluminate his eyes. He was ready to fire if nessicary.

((Guys, Derish has been here. Mika is a Houndoom, and has just arrived. Pweash get it right. Yet again, happy RPing!))

((Thank you yoshi for clearing that since NO ONE reads my ooc comments))

Angelo's shadow ball dissapates "Very good. You have proved yourself worthy xhan, A true leader knows how to lead with his head, Not with his fists. You may View the books but be careful, The ones you need are very delicate" Angelo floats to a shelf "Here are the three books of spirit, You may take them out of the library but if you lose them trust me" Angelo laughs darkly "There will be hell to pay"

((You're welcome!^_^ By the way, I might not be as active, since I'm living at my Grandma's until my prents come back from Philidelphia. Oh, and stuff like my spelling, grammar, and punctuation might be off a little, since my Grandma has a labtop, which I'm not used to...))

Xhan's mouth opened and closed, as if to say something, but words escaped him. Finally, he was able to splutter, "...That easy?" Shrugging, he stepped over to the books. Luckily, there was a table nearby, which had a backpack on it. The backpack obviously had a frame made of some sort of plastic. After all, it seemed to be completly square and stiff, save for a flap covering a hole in the top. He shouldered it, and took one of the three books that the Shedinja had indicated. He opened it to a random page. "....I geuss this might be a bad time to mention..." His next words were almost lost in his laughter. "I can't read! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" He put the books in the pack, hoping that one of the others could possibly know how to read an ancient language... Or maybe one of their Grandparents? A thought occured to him. Awkwardly, he stepped over to the Shedinja. "Uh... I was just thinking... Care to join me and the others? Maybe you could read these books?"
