Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

NOTE: It is strongly recommended that you have played Super Mario 64 DS before joining this RP. If you have not, please read everything carefully. It's a lot, but it's for safety on not being kicked out of the RP.

After receiving an invitation to Princess Peach’s castle, you find out that Bowser has snatched her away to a place deep in the land! Luckily, you have paintings as portals to places you could possibly find her. Embark on this journey to save the princess! I know it's classic, but it's Mario! What do you think? Saving Groudon from evil spiders?

Put the word “sora” in your post to prove you’ve read the rules.

MISSIONS

1. Bob-Omb Battlefield
Location: Through the door on the left wall of the first room of the castle.
Description: It’s a big grassland area. It has a few trees scattered around. At the start, there is a small concrete mound with a square hole at the center, which contains a cannon. A path leads from the mound, and it slopes up after awhile. The path comes to a bridge, which crosses over to the other end of the path, which snakes around the course. There are cannons scattered around the battlefield. There is also a tall hill which, when climbed, will let you fight the Big Bob-Omb.
Mission: “Big Bob-Omb on the Summit”
-Defeat the Big Bob-Omb.
Area notes: You can shoot yourself out of the cannons around the course.

2. Jolly Roger Bay
Location: Up the stairs on the right, through the first door on the right, in the first room of the castle.
Description: There is a small beach at the starting point. If you move forward, you’ll start swimming in water. At the deepest, the water is about thirty to forty feet deep. There are many rocks jutting out of the shallow water, one of which contains a cannon. The ship floats on the water above the deepest part of the small lake. In the wall of the deep lake, there is a tunnel which leads to a cave (with air in it, of course).
Mission: “Red Coins on the Ship Afloat”
-Find eight (8) Red Coins scattered around Jolly Roger Bay.
Area notes: You can go onto the deck of the ship, but not inside it, due to the fact that the doors are boarded up. You can also blast yourself out of the cannons in this course.

3. Cool, Cool Mountain
Location: Through the leftmost door of the middle wall in the front room of the castle.
Description: Near the starting point, there is a small house which leads underground to a gigantic slide. If you navigate the icy slide without falling off, it leads to the bottom of the mountain. If you head straight after starting, you’ll be on a snowy slope down the mountain. At the landing point, there are three crates which can be broken with a strong punch. A large snowman sits next to them. Farther along, there is a bridge which crosses an icy gorge. But it’s not easy to cross the bridge; there are two hopping snowmen which are painful to the touch. Due to how high they jump, it is easy to run under them while they are airborne.
After you cross the bridge, you’ll come to a slope down to the base of the mountain. Due to the fact that the slope is very slippery, it is covered in wooden planks to give easy balance. At the bottom of the slope, there is a mother penguin with her baby.
Mission: “Switch Star of Cool, Cool Mountain”
-Activate the switch and race to catch the activated Power Star. If you wait too long, the star goes away and you have to step on the star-shaped switch again. It is often difficult to take the star due to the fact that it is so far away from the switch.
Area notes: The switch is located on a floating island halfway across a gorge. Luckily, there is a gondola across the gorge, and you can hop out and onto the island. After stepping on the switch, it is possible to do a jump and land on the snow below before racing for the star. The star is under a thin coating of ice which can be broken with a “ground pound.”

4. Wet-Dry World

Location: Go straight up the stairs on the middle wall of the castle. Enter the large door and climb the spiral stairs. Jump into the first painting you see.
Description: The starting point is a small dock with a switch that activates a staircase. The stairs lead to a raised platform. If you dive into the water, you can swim to a concrete area of the course. After climbing the wall, you’ll come to a brick platform. You can jump onto a ledge, on the end of which a path starts. Be sure to dodge the purple thing that tosses you!
If you follow the path of floating platforms, you’ll reach the highest one and be able to obtain the star.
Mission: “Top o’ the Town”
-Get to the highest point in Wet-Dry world and obtain the Power Star.
Area notes: There is a town underneath the main Wet-Dry world, but it has remained undiscovered.

5. Tall, Tall Mountain
Location: The first painting to the left of Wet-Dry World.
Description: An extremely tall mountain. A spiraling path leads up the mountainside and, after overcoming many obstacles, it is possible to climb a wall and reach the summit of the mountain.
Mission: “Scale the Mountain”
-Reach the summit of Tall, Tall Mountain.
Area notes: There are many floating mushrooms around TTM. They can only be reached by cannon, and still due to their size it is hard to stay on.

6. Tick-Tock Clock
Location: When you enter the Circular Hall (in which Wet-Dry World is located), turn right and go up the stairs and through the door. Enter the face of the grandfather clock.
Description: A tall clock. It has obstacles, which are listed here:
-Blocks which rotate vertically every minute or two.
-Pendulums whose swings may get in your way.
-Two moving clock hands which rotate around the middle point of the course.
-A set of circular platforms which rotate in one direction during Normal and Fast time.
-Devices in the wall of the clock that may push you off the edge of the upward pathway.
- Platforms which constantly rotate vertically.
-Moving floors that may push you to losing a life.
There is a spiral pathway along the wall of the clock. If you fall below the pathway (or through the middle of the clock), you’ll lose a life and be sent outside Tick-Tock Clock.
Mission: Get a Hand
-Climb to the top of Tick Tock clock. Wait for the long hand to carry you to an indent in the wall, which contains the Power Star.
Area notes: If you enter when the minute hand is on the 12, time is stopped. For 3, time is normal; 6, wacky; and 9, fast. For this mission, 3 is recommended.

7. Bowser Battle!
Location: Up the stairs in front of Tick Tock Clock. Climb the tall stairway and enter through the chimney-like protrusion in the floor.
Description: Who knows? This room appeared in the castle after Bowser stole Peach.
Mission: Defeat Bowser and take the Princess back.
Area notes: The area has remained unknown… until now.

(Nice reference to the Darkest Hour...)

But Anyone from Nintendo? before I join, I just want to have it be clarified if it can be from another Nintendo-made series. Like, say.. Metroid?

Yeah, like any character Nintendo made up.

And what reference are you talking about?

If you're talking about Groudon, it was random.

Evil Spiders= Goros.

It may have been unintentional, but I still found it funny.

Character: Rundas
Personality: Rundas is "extremely proud, cocky, and arrogant, believing himself to be unmatched in his field. However he seems to have a strong sense of justice. His arrogant demeanor leads him to mainly seek solo missions and rarely works with others. Despite this, he seems to feel an uncharacteristic sense of camaraderie toward" those who have earned his respect.
Appearance: This
Other: Sora, though I'm not sure how that applies to SM64DS, and i beat that game.

WAIT A MINUTE... can you SERIOUSLY be someone from Animal Crossing?
@Exo-Raikou: "Sora" is Japanese for "sky."

Hmm.....

YES.

As long as you have some way to defeat enemies such as Goombas/Koopas.

Also, you can BE a Goomba/Koopa if you want.

No, it has to be a Nintendo character. Sonic's from Sega as far as I know, but Agumon is the only thing I know about Digimon so I can't tell you about that.

Name:
Character: Graveler
Personality: Tough, can sometimes be a meanie.
Appearance: I'm sure everyone here knows what a Graveler looks like, but I'll say it anyway.
A rock with four arms.
Gender: Male
Bio:
Other: sora

Accepted. So if you didn't post a name, does that mean that you want people to call you "Graveler"?

Yup. If no one else is a Graveler of course. And I forgot to add something. Graveler likes to use Harden, then Rollout down hills to crush his enemies, He calls this "Steel Boulder".

Character: Ness
Personality: Pretty optimistic and brave.
Appearance: I think pretty much everyone knows what he looks like.
Gender: Male
Bio: Saved Eagleland from Gigyas with the help of Paula, Jeff, and Poo.
Other: Why sora? I thought this was Nintendo >:(

I have Super Mario 64, do I need to know the DS version?

Considering this is Super Mario, it looks like five members will be enough. Though we'll still be open, we can start now.

By the way, we start asleep on the lawn in front of the castle. We know each other and we've taken a nap before starting to rescue Peach.

----

The brightness shone through the black.
"Hm.... give me that cake you....... oh....."

Sunlight made everything around visible.

Yoshi sat up. "That was a nice nap. Is it time to save the princess now?"

He looked around. "Might as well wait for the others to wake up." He watched the bunny rabbits hop around the garden.

Graveler shook himself off, rolling down the hill he was sleeping on and bashing into the wall behind Yoshi. "Wake up, everyone!"

Rundas was about to wake up on his own when the loud call of the Graveler did it for him.

"has it ever occured to you that some people would prefer to wake up by something toher than a giant, talking boulder? That cake isn't going anywhere, you know. And rushing everyone isn't the answer."

I suppose I'll join.

Name: Mr. Resetti
Personality: he has very abd anger issues, especially when it comes to people who turn off thier game without saving!
Appearance: this.
Other: Why is everyone saying 'Sora'?

(Accepted.)

"Is everyone awake?" Yoshi looked around. "It appears that three of us are awake. Let's wait for the others so we can go save the princess!" He felt sort of awkward after talking for so long.
