Open Super Mario 64: TCoD!

Falco, picking up a serious-looking blaster from a holster on his hip, stood next to Graveler at the painting's base. "Yell when ya need me!" he commented, eager to get with the blasting.
 
Kirby turned around, seeing that Luigi had been left behind as well. He darted up to him. "Baio! Baio, Baio!" he said, grabbing on to Luigi's arm, attempting to drag him up the stairs.
 
Rundas formed an Ice Slide and used it to reach the painting.

"Better hurry up; I'm getting tired of waiting."
 
"Kirby!" shouted Yoshi. "Make sure you get into the painting with Luigi! Find us!"

He turned. "Now!" He did a backflip into the painting.
 
Luigi began walking toward the painting. "That is-a pretty picture. Do I jump-a in?"
 
Graveler took action with his plan. He rolled backwards to gain momentum, then moved as fast as he could back up the stairs. This caused him to be flung into the air, and he landed safely inside the painting beside Yoshi.
 
Yoshi landed softly on a stone lump on the ground. There was a square-shaped hole in the middle of it.

A pink bomb with feet walked up to him. "Hey! We're your Bob-Omb buddies!"

Slightly pathetic, thought Yoshi. He began to march up the path.
 
Kirby looked around, his eyes wide with amazment. His gaze landed upon the pink Bob-Omb. He squealed with delight, running toward it. He picked it up, carrying it over his head, following Yoshi. The Bob-Omb struggled, trying to get out of the grasp.
 
"We've got a Big Bob-Omb to defeat!" said Yoshi.

"Put me down!" squeaked the Bob-Omb Buddy.

Yoshi jumped up to the front of the bridge. Two orange, rounded triangles with feet wandered the bridge.

"Goomba!" Yoshi stuck his tongue out and swallowed one, and threw the newly-laid egg at the other. "Doubleshot!" he collected the two coins. "Let's go!"
 
Falco dashed up the bridge, firing a warning shot at the Bob-Omb Buddy to try to prevent it from annoying him any further. After trying to grab Yoshi's coins without any success, he slunk back and continued walking with the group.
 
Psi realised he had been left behind and quickly floated up the stairs. Then saw the only open door in time to see the painting ripple, he knew to go through the painting and so floated through. Upon spotting the others he teleported over to them and said "Hey yoshi whats that round black thing with what looks like a fuse on its head," while levitating it a safe distance away.

"Oh boy, walking and talking bombs. now I've seen everything." Rundas said sarcastically.

In truth though, he was quite intruiged by this. It was quite different form what he'd been used to.

Maybe, just maybe, I could grow to like this place.
 
"That's a Bob-Omb," said Yoshi. "Avoid alerting it, otherwise it'll chase you and it'll explode. However, they're rather easy to outrun. For starters, just avoid them."

He spotted a bump sticking up from the ground ahead. He did a long jump and landed in front of this. "I found a cannon!" he said, climbing up and jumping in. Before long he had blasted himself high and landed right in front of the mound. "Like that," he said.
 
"I might be too heavy to be shot out of that thing," Graveler lamented.
"However, if I did manage to fly through the air, I could be like a Bob-Omb with unlimited uses, at least while my body holds out."
 
"Graveler can go up the mountain, eating rocks as he goes," said Yoshi. "The rest of us can shoot out of the cannon to the mountain and wait for him there. Does that sound like a plan?"
 
Falco commented, "Peh. I can do better." And he voiced into his wrist mike, "Falco to Great Fox. Need Arwing support." He released the button to hear a static buzz. "C'mon, Peppy, answer!" strangling the air, he shot a Goomba behind him, watching the coin burst out of nothingness. "Cool. What do these do? My laser's a bit stressed on juice, and I could use the upgrade."
