I think it still might be a reasonable name for a band. It's not that far off from Paramore.
 
Ryubane sounds like it could be really melodic orchestrated speed metal. Or maybe techno metal.

Cap'n Sofa would be a good name for an old, homeless drug addict who does some weird banjo-metal crap on a street corner.
