Open The Legend of the Nine-Tailed Fox -- Part 1: The Shadows

((@ijy: Fine with me.

@Dragon: Second character accepted.

@Mewtwo: Okay! :D))

Aurora started heading back to the meeting place with the prey in her mouth. She had marked the border and Storm would be back there soon as well. There was still rogue scent, and it seemed fresh, but rogues had just been there, hadn't they?

Suddenly, something leaped at her, and she let out a yelp, whirling around and giving it a quick bite near the shoulder, powered with ice. It was yet another rogue, and it fled immediately. Aurora looked behind her and saw that her side had a bite mark and was bleeding. Giving a short howl to Storm, she headed back to camp and into Dustie's den. She didn't need to say what was wrong.

Dustie was napping when she heard someone enter her den. She looked up and saw Aurora - witha bite mark on her shoulder.
"Oh, my goodness! Here, let me help you with that." Dustie darted to where she kept her medicinal herbs. She pulled one out that helped bites. "Here you go!"

Storm landed in a bush near the border, and shifted back into a fox.
"Nice to have paws," she muttered. Storm quickly marked the border, beside a stream, and started to head back, when- a wet white fox leapt out of the stream at her, pinning her down.
"Gah! Timehea- Ed," she yelped. "I hate it when you do that." ed'Rashtekaresket grinned a bit, barely moving his mouth.
"Hello, little shifter," he said, smirking. "Pay more attention. Come on. I'll race you back to camp, me in the water you anyway you wan- Look out!" He pushed down a second, before leaping off of Storm and fastening his teeth into a fox behind her.
Rogues? Storm asked herself. In that exact moment a fox behind her leapt for her neck, almost meeting his mark. She whipped around, and suddenly her paws were talons, raking across the rogue's muzzle. The kestrel lighted on Ed's shoulder, and screeched once, before streaking into the sky. The white fox snorted.
"It's on," he growled, and leapt back into the stream.

"Poultice?" Aurora asked. "Is it supposed to be a poultice or do I just swallow it?" She lay down calmly on one side of the den, away from the bitter scent of most of the herbs. She tilted her head at Dustie, but didn't touch the herb. Just to make sure; she didn't want to make it useless. That wouldn't help Dustie at all.

Nonoshiri was sitting in the camp, his muzzle tipped towards the sky. He hoped that danger wouldn't be approaching too soon. Apparently, it already did; Aurora had to be healed because of a fox bite. He didn't think of any way he could help, and still rested his lifeless gaze on the sky.

((Do I have permission for small post? All I need to tell you is if it is a poultice or not, and really that's all I need to say. And I had to google poultice to find out what it meant XD))

Ukon looked up from where he had been pacing around the camp, seeing Aurora's bite mark.

Rogues? he thought. He had no problem fighting most rogues; that was one of the things him and the Leaf clan had in common. But he was unsure what he would do if his old pack launched an attack. He was loyal to the Leaf clan, and to Roko, but they were his friends.

Name:Akira

Gender: Male

Rank:Warrior

Appearance:Albino, large scar running from eye to chin. Rather solemn looking face but has good humor

Personality:Very loyal and defensive when it comes to his clan.his personality is different from day to day, sometimes he enjoys company and sometimes he wants to be alone. But, most of the time he is friendly and good natured.
is usually calm and does not get nervous very easily. But what he fears the most is the past because when he was a young fox he had a traumatizing experience with enemy rogues whom were known well to the clan and still fears their return ((I am not asking for this to be part of the plot I am just using this for my characters background /personality)).
History:His father and mother were warriors and very good ones, they were liked and respected throughout the clan but, were killed in large battle.To this day he wants revenge.

Power:Can turn to mist ((hopefully this is acceptable)).

Other:none

Storm pulled out of the air and dived straight towards the ground, shifting into a fox just as she was about to hit... and crashed into the same wet white fox.
"Timeh- Ed! Why.. Argh." ed'Rashtekaresket nodded.
"I win," he said emotionlessly. "We should go back to camp now, and see if there is any news." He flicked his tail at the entrance, and Storm nodded. She'd have to work on landing like that... ed'Rashtekaresket started moving ahead of her.
((Yes I do like to type ed'Rashtekaresket's name. =D Maybe I should include his full name))

"All right," Aurora said, nodding in thanks. She took the light green herb in her mouth and chewed it up until it was like... not a liquid, but not solid either. She then licked it onto the bite wound, and spat the rest out, shaking herself off. Herbs were always bitter, but that was the cost of healing.

((I just said it was light green because you never said what the herb looked like. If you want to RP better, describe the senses... taste, smell, sight... all of that stuff.))

((Not accepted.

1. Correct capitalization, please.
2. Read the rules again. Only one power per fox.

))

Sorry I should have caught that but I was in a rush and I wasn't sure if running faster and longer than most counted as a second power.

((Still something wrong. I didn't notice this before, though.

1. Reasonably popular; to me, saying how others feel about your character is a kind of powerplaying, so please remove this.

2. Also, he seems to be a bit of a Mary-Sue; expand more on his personality, maybe?))

((Right, Darksong, we starting the plot soon?))
Storm padded into camp behind ed'Rashtekaresket, and lay down in the middle. Ed watched her over his shoulder.
"Lazy, are we?" He drawled. "Well, I am going back out after a quick break, would you want to come?" It was a challenge, and Storm knew that.
"Sure," she agreed. "But I'll go report the rogue attack to Aurora first, if you don't mind," she answered, equally emotionless. ed'Rashtekaresket nodded, a small sliver of tooth showing. Storm bounded off, by the warrior den.
"Aurora..?" Nope, not there. Maybe the healer's den..? Storm nodded to herself, and poked her head inside. Yes. Aurora and Dustie were inside.
"Aurora, I'm going out hunting with.. Timeheart-" ed'Rashtekaresket growled from a few lengths away. "With ed'Rashtekaresket. I just wanted to tell you there was two rogue foxes on our territory, again, and.. yes. We might have drove them off, or they could have just ran." She paused. "We'll be back before sun-high." Storm backed out of the den with a nod to Dustie, and went over to Ed.
"Let's go then," she barked.

((Yep. :D))

Aurora turned towards them, flinching slightly when ed'Rashtekaresket growled. "All right, that's fine with me. Give me a heads-up if there is anything important." But of course. There are rogues every patrol these days. She nodded in thanks to Dustie and then looked up at the growing morning coulds. Would it rain?
