• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

    Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

    Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open The Legend of the Nine-Tailed Fox -- Part 1: The Shadows

Aurora asked, "Do these rogues have a strategy?" Her head was tilted, her eyes questioning.

"No." Psi's flat answer was immediate. "They're hardly ever prepared for anything. A big weakness." He bared his teeth slightly.

"Storm and ed'Rashtekaresket are out hunting or something," Aurora reminded him. "Is it possible to contact them?"

Psi nodded, calling to the two foxes (happy now? :D) by telekinesis. "Aurora is asking you to come back to camp. Are you in the middle of anything?"

Storm nearly tripped over her paws when Psi touched her mind.
What, Psi? You can use telekinesis... Uh, yeah. I'm on my way back. She looked ahead. The camp was just there, no point in wasting energy... She ran ahead and into camp.
~~~
ed'Rashtekaresket had dived for a fish when Psi contacted him.
Psi? Okay, I'll start to make my way back. With a relatively large fish in his mouth, ed'Rashtekaresket leapt out of the water and onto shore. He looked towards camp, and back at the lake, before taking off towards camp.
As soon as the duo arrived, Aurora called a meeting.
"Sorry about the business these days," Psi said to everyone. He sat down next to Aurora, who was perching on the stump. ((It was a stump, right?))
((Are we the only ones posting? DDDD:))
Storm and ed'Rashtekaresket sat in from of Aurora and Psi, looking up at their leader on the stump.
"Let's hear it then," Storm muttered.
((Not anymore.))
Nonoshiri dashed out and looked up at the stump. He flicked his cat-like ears intently, also watching Psi carefully out of the corner of his eye. He didn't want any rogues to cause trouble.
((guys we should like pm some of the others on tyhis thread to start posting otherwise we will get pushed to the 2nd page))
Ukon looked up from whatever he had been doing; he hadn't been paying attention. Apparently Aurora had called a meeting. He padded over to Ruko's den to alert her.
She followed him out somewhat reluctantly. She personally didn't care about too much that Aurora had to say, but loyalty to the clan kept her padding between her den and the meetings. She took a seat near the back, as usual, and Ukon sat down beside her.
Dustie heard Aurora call a meeting and dashed oer to the meeting stump. "What is it? What's wrong?" she barked. "Is it the rouges?"
"Nothing bad," Aurora said. "Thanks to Psi's information, we will start planning for attack on the enemy. Suggestions?"
Psi's ears twitched impatiently. He glanced at Aurora. Are you sure about this, Aurora?
"Attacking the rogues?" Storm thought a second. "Well, do they keep track of every fox, or are they disorganized? I might be able to sneak in.."
"Disorganized, definitely," Psi interrupted. "But we aren't attacking just yet." He glanced at Aurora again as if to ask permissioin of something. "We need to make preparations, and any precautions.
"Of course, they aren't completely scattered. There are guards and the like, so we'll have to sneak in, as you said, or alert every fox in the section of forest that is the rogues' territory." His tail swished as he nodded quickly to himself.
Storm nodded, and whipped her tail thoughtfully, drawing back into the tangle of foxes.
((Come on, people ;_; You can tell I like this RP))
"Any recommendations or preparations?" Aurora asked. "I was thinking Psi should stay low so that they don't go beserk on us."
The brown wolf nodded absently.
Nonoshiri looked at Aurora with his deep eyes. "I think we should prepare herbs in a hidden place so that we could heal ourselves." It was a rather childish statement but he did it anyway.
"Ask Dustie about that," the leader replied, swishing her tail to tell that she had replied.
Psi then told him, "However, we'll be the ones attacking them. We can't bring many herbs along, but maybe you can help Dustie carry a few."
((The two-line rule may be temporarily off, but that still means good grammar ;) ))
Dustie overheard Nonoshiri and Aurora's short conversation. She turned to Nonoshiri. "I actually think that's quite a good idea; but where would we hide the herbs?"
