• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Weird and Interesting Facts.

Re: Random Facts.

Cranidos's base Attack is higher than Arceus's. Likewise, Shieldon's base Defense is lower than Arceus's by only two points. Also, Purugly's base Speed is lower than Arceus's by only two points.

That's the coolest thing ever.

Well, that is the way most people translated it before the official English translation of Diamond/Pearl came out. Not sure how accurate it is, but still.

Re: Random Facts.

Actually the largest lake in the world (that is most definitely a lake, not a sea) is Lake Baikal in Russia.
No, that's the lake that contains the largest amount of water. The largest lake by area is Lake Superior, which lies on the border between the US and Canada.

Lake Caspian is a saltwater enclosed body of water, not a lake as such. If you take a lake to be a freshwater enclosed body of water, then the largest lake is Superior. So that entire fact rests on your definition of a lake.

Re: Random Facts.

The saltiest body of water is in Djbouti. It is 45% saline solution, with 10% solid salt. It's 10x saltier than the sea.

Also, In Bakersfield, California, anyone having intercourse with Satan must use a condom.

The Bluebird's blue colour is actually an optical illusion. They are (according to Ripley's, so take it with a grain of salt) actually a shade of gray

Nowhere in the definition of a lake is it stated that is must be freshwater. Every source I know lists the Caspian Sea as the largest lake in the world. I assume the original quote referred to the largest freshwater lake, which is indeed Lake Superior.

Re: Random Facts.

That and the fact that Superior is on the border of the United States and Canada, so really, its not in Canada.

Ohio has no natural lakes.
