...I wouldn't be able to do anything productive in that sort of waterlessness. (Not that I do anyways x3) It's a good thing that your grandfather fixed your plumbing, too. So how often is your plumbing taken out from tropical storms/hurricanes?

Heat lightning is when streaks of lightning gather in the clouds, but refrain from striking trees and other tall things. It's quite pretty, actually.

Eh, rainstorm/thunderstorms can get pretty bad, they sometimes knock out the power, and make it difficult to go outside. They're pretty, though, even if they're accompanyed by hail. Hail sometimes damages things left outside, though they have yet to break a window :D

I actually got an early view, since I met with someone who'll keep me organized for the year; it was pretty neat :D

No, they don't destory houses, thankfully, but it can take out our electricy D: And walking outside is one difficult task.

Wow, hurricanes don't even rival our worst rainstorms. Oh, do you guys get heat lightning? I've seen it, and it's amazing <3

That's why the have the first week. I got to look at the high school beforehand, so I know where most of my classes are.

Hmm, icestorms are odd to say the least; occasionally there's freezing rain which covers everything with an icy layer. Then it sometimes rain, which makes the temperate drop, thus making the rain freeze. The people in charge of clearing the roads tend to use salt to melt the ice, but they need to drive slowly (like anyone else on the roads) so they prevent from sliding on the ice. Occasionally snow covers the ice and conseals, which isn't good either. Most sane people stay off the roads, until they're clear. The pattering noise the ice makes is quite soothing~

What's a hurricane like?

Okay, I'll attempt my art skilletz with colour pencils and see how that turns out.

I'm tempted to draw one now, but I need to get on to my half of our Art Trade. *is lazy* Oh, I'm considering on using colour pencils, but I'm not sure if they'd turn out correctly. Would you like to have colour pencil, or pencils used for shading?
