• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Uhh... Apparently I have 249 watchers, but since I haven't been very active, no doubt some of them don't look at my work that much anymore, haha. I'm not /popular/ per se, but I have a fair amount of views and whatnot.

Yeah, probably. I don't think I've seen it happen to anyone else. Kinda annoying. Meanwhile putting legs behind the head is cool and awesome and I don't care if it's unhealthy.
Done. Phew I feel so much better OTL

Ughhh wind ): I hate wind in winter more than I hate the cold. For some reason whenever I'm exposed to cold winds a bunch of blood vessels on my cheeks will pop out of nowhere and it bothers me.

Yeah, heard not-so-recently on the news that Vancouver is the most expensive place to live in Canada now :P
what have you /done/ bulbasaur now I always have one notification and it bothers me so much

    p.p

When I grow up I should move to Vancouver.
No m.m? bulbasaur what are you doing

Boots. In winter. For water? Not for snow?

Yes, only halfway. Usually it goes to our knees.
Oh my God I should totally build an igloo in my front yard or something
    n.n

    Well it's the normal-and-difficult-and-tedious way? 8D;

Unfortunately the snow only went halfway up our shins that year ): Nowhere near as deep as dig-in-sandpit-until-you-reach-clay.

Just... digging for rocks and inspecting them once you've dug them up, I guess. Nothing fancy.

That's kind of like what we used to do a few days after a snowfall, when the snow hardened somewhat! We would excavate little "cities" with tunnels and buildings and bridges and whatnot. Except we didn't stand on top of the tunnels or on the bridges or anywhere on the "city" because then it'd be squished.

Haha, no, our family went there for some vacation trip thingy and I was all OOO ROCK SHOP.

Of course, bulbasaur, can't find rocks the normal way! Must do it the Asian way!
    I approve.

I do remember hitting clay, though, and how excited everyone was when we hit clay (for some reason digging was a wildly popular activity in elementary school). We would dig up as much as we could and "sell" them to people for other odd things found in the school field/playground/play area.

I tended to save up my allowance until we found some store that sold rocks. iirc in Sudbury there was a store like that; in the Ontario Science Centre, too, at some point, when they were doing a rocks show or something like that I don't quite remember. At any rate there weren't many stores, but they exist.

wtf man I don't even know what a sluice is. And... what. How old were you when you did this? I'm 16 now and I don't even know what you were doing @.@
    f.f

I would splurge my entire allowance on rocks 8D; And wherever there were pebbles instead of woodchips on a playground, I spent the recess/break/whatever sifting through them to find interesting things.
(well it looks close enough to a)
    d.d
(and why are we still doing this)

I used to be crazy about rocks when I was little. Also it reminded me of the word "detritus" so yeah.

    Know none of those ;~;

    YEAH, YEAHHHH SO INTENSE

I... use sesquipedalian sometimes, maybe loquaciousness... the rest not really. 8D; Do go on! I want to see which words I actually recognize hurr
    X.X

I tend not to watch TV/movies/etc., much less those in languages other than English. :P Normally my attention span is short enough; other languages just strain it more.

... YES. I MUST FINISH NANO WITH REFFINGS THIS YEAR. SUPER ASIAN STATUS HERE I COME

SO WHAT WORDS DO I HAVE TO USE TO BE 100 YEARS OLD
    V.V

What would I be if I actually made it though? Super-goddess?
Also: "Amongst is British. It also makes you sound 60 years old."

I AM NOW 60 YEARS OLD
Oh yes, I am reading your VMs with LotF and the French :D I understand it! Kind of! Does that mean my French does not suck
    T.T

Well, people try NaNoWriMo for fun, yes? It was also because I had no story ideas. :P I don't quite remember how far I got; maybe around halfway there?
    R.R
    Killjoy. As usual.

I once tried to ref for NaNoWriMo, like what MF did. I think that was when I churned out 14 reffing in a week. Still didn't work out.
